Best fry jacks that we ate in Belize. The dishes are all full of local flavors. We went there on an evening where there was a local drum band. Yes, you can hang out to other fancier restaurants in area but we were looking for local ambiance, humble and friendly people....We felt very satisfied with the food and felt happy to help the community by buying a CD and eat local.

I would like to restate what a previous review said, which is "dont let the roof fool you". This is the closest you will get to the authentic Belizean culture and food. Tina has a small outside palm tree shelter that contains roughly six tables. The atmosphere is perfect between the sand hitting your feet, ocean breeze and tina burning inscence. Sitting there waiting for food makes you feel the island life. Tina has very good table side manners and is friendly for everyone. Menu is pretty simple with all authentic dishes. I tried the fish with rice & beans which was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best dish of food I've had since arriving in Belize. The fish was whole and perfectly cooked. Tina said this was the catch of the day. The lady got the casadilla, which was amazing as well. The homemade flour tortillas were fantastic. Rice and beans come with most dishes which are always a fan favorite. Please try and stay away from the TOURIST flashing light places and give Tina your time enjoy the atmosphere. Try the fish with beans & rice. Cheers!!

So delicious! Awesome home cooked meal. They were super friendly and great portions; awesome ambience on the water and fun music playing with the ladies in the kitchen singing along :) didn’t even get to have the dishes everyone recommended and it was sooo good! Gotta try the bitters too :)

Good for a taste of local food. Better for meals than breakfast typicals - also the waitress could be in a better mood in the mornings, otherwise they are very welcoming.

I love this place. Tina is a friendly, kind and warm individual lady who makes great food. Ask Tina to make you a mango shake and you'll be in love forever. Tina nibugaya, I'll be back!
