I would like to restate what a previous review said, which is "dont let the roof fool you". This is the closest you will get to the authentic Belizean culture and food. Tina has a small outside palm tree shelter that contains roughly six tables. The atmosphere is perfect between the sand hitting your feet, ocean breeze and tina burning inscence. Sitting there waiting for food makes you feel the island life. Tina has very good table side manners and is friendly for everyone. Menu is pretty simple with all authentic dishes. I tried the fish with rice & beans which was absolutely amazing. Hands down the best dish of food I've had since arriving in Belize. The fish was whole and perfectly cooked. Tina said this was the catch of the day. The lady got the casadilla, which was amazing as well. The homemade flour tortillas were fantastic. Rice and beans come with most dishes which are always a fan favorite.
Please try and stay away from the TOURIST flashing light places and give Tina your time enjoy the atmosphere.
Try the fish with beans & rice.
Cheers!!
