We visited in late January for the Hot Chocolate Festival. While the hot chocolate was deliciously rich, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The floating meringue was an interesting addition but not as great as I thought it would be. That said, the café itself is always a delightful place to visit, and I’ve always loved their other products. If you go, don’t miss their incredible pastries and cakes, they never disappoint! My absolute favorite is their Black Forest Cake, which has become my go to for special occasions. It’s just that good. While the hot chocolate didn’t wow me this time, I’ll definitely keep coming back for everything else they have.

Service was prompt and was greeted by multiple staff while waiting. Coffee and beverage was ok but service made up the difference. Pastry was the main selling point. Cakes were perfect and ideally consume in the cafe than take out. Macaroons were perfect to go sweets to enjoy at home. Lots of little to go attraction to enjoy while you wait. Always amazed by thierry's creativity and please keep inventing new and delicious pastry.

Marvelous cafe! Really good coffee and delicious pastries 😋. They also have a good selection of chocolates and macarons that make fantastic gifts. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice atmosphere with a small patio. Highly recommend.

I had a matcha latte last night and it was so delicious! I was so happy they had dairy free alternatives as I notice most place don’t have that option. I will be coming back again ☺️

Liquid chocolate aka drinking chocolate is amazing for cocoa fans. It’s a thicker version of hot chocolate and less sweet. Attached photo is full size 72%. Egg and cheese danish was terrific; light, crispy, and egg not runny. Quick service on weekday morning. Plenty of seating including enclosed patio (cold months).

Thierry is well known for its pastries, cakes, macaroons, and chocolates. Not on your lower price bracket; however, the presentation, quality of ingredients, and particularly, the flavour of every item here is outstanding. A Vanilla Bean Bar together with a Pistachio Latte will take you to a happy place. Order your cakes, then head to the drinks section, next to it. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The drink was tasty, the ambience was nice and cozy. The marquis, despite the looks, was a bit dry and rock solid, especially the last 2 layers. Overall, I would give this place a 4/5. Will come back for other pastries.

Thierry is a very convenient place for business meeting or casual catch up with friends in downtown. Service was honestly lacklustre considering the premium vibe they are trying to convey. If anything, cleanliness could be better because the staffs didn’t really clean up the tables between guess. Pastry wise, I’ve tried their Almond Croissant ($7.45) and Hazelnut Pithivier ($7.45). Interestingly, my experience was very different each visit. The almond croissant was very, very hefty with generous almond filling. It was very sweet but still enjoyable for me (I have a very strong sweet tooth though). The second time I went there, I got the pithivier and another almond croissant. Both pastries were super dry (even a little bit stale) and the paste was very bland. Would be good if they can be more consistent as this makes me hesitate to come back. Coffee was just alright to balance the pastry, go with their hot chocolate if you want a better beverage option.
