"An all-inclusive golf resort and spa in Costa Rica, offering a range of recreational activities and relaxation options."
"The Westin Reserva Conchal in Costa Rica piloted the new kids club last year, offering physical, cultural, and creative activities; a futuristic design that inspires more interactive experiences; and Camp counselors to educate and entertain kids, with programming that will take inspiration from each destination." - Devorah Lev-Tov
"Offers excellent seafood and coffee beverages at the resort’s private Beach Club."
"Hugging the golden crescent of Playa Conchal on Costa Rica’s northern Pacific Coast, the 2,400-acre Westin Playa Conchal is an all-inclusive (Westin’s only one) that has put great care into navigating the needs of both families and guests who prefer a more peaceful experience. A kid-friendly club features designated suites, all-day assistance of a “family concierge,” and exclusive activities, while the adults-only Royal Beach Club is almost a resort-within-a-resort, with its own lounge and private pool. Both have access to the greater resort, including the huge lagoon-style pool with swim-up bar, Jacuzzi, 10 restaurants and five bars, and the fitness club. All of the rooms and suites have balconies or terraces, and the Royal Beach Club suites also have a large outdoor tub. Guests also have access to the par-71 golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr."
"The Westin Golf Resort & Spa at Playa Conchal sports a pretty good setup for a week of all-inclusive goodness. There’s a Gilligan’s Island vibe here—a tropical oasis buried beneath acres of dense foliage—and it wouldn’t be quite the disaster if we couldn't leave. The Costa Rican resort, hitched up on the country’s North Pacific Riviera, sits amid a swarm of national parks and wildlife refuges, adjacent to an 18-hole golf course—so you'll have plenty to do if you’re feeling adventurous. We won’t judge, though, if you decide to stay local and work on your swing instead. The activities desk is the fairy godmother of the place, dishing out options like tequila tastings, dance lessons, and Tai Chi classes, or helping to set up a friendly—okay, a little competitive—game of beach volleyball. Again, this is an all-inclusive deal, so we suggest hitting up as many of the 12 restaurants as you can muster, though we like La Sabana, in particular. It’s a place with more local flavor, serving up traditionally Costa Rican rodizio under a thatched roof, to the beat of local tunes—so seize the fire-roasted meat-on-a-stick while the night's still young. The wood-fired oven pizzas at Spirula Pizza Bar, incarnated in both sweet and savory combinations, are worth an investigation (and a big 'ole bite). Our favorite feature, though, is the swim-up Triton Pool Bar at the main lagoon-style pool—you can’t beat guzzling a rum and coke in near zero-gravity conditions."
