The Well Spa & Hotel

We visited on a Tuesday this time and everything was great. Loved the outdoor heated pool and the cold pool next to the outdoor sauna. The restaurant was good was well. I will not visit on a different day than Tuesday just because you are forced to take off your bathing suit every single time you enter the sauna. They should leave that part optional.

The Well Spa Hotel left an unforgettable impression! ✨💕 The professional and friendly staff are truly the heart of this place. The SPA area is absolutely amazing – clean, cozy, and a true haven for relaxation. My room (number 719 🤭) with its breathtaking view felt like a dream. Where do I start? I guess at the very beginning. Arrived at 12 to the hotel. Was welcomed in the most hospitable manner. They explained that the rooms would be available only at 4, but we can get to the spa in the meantime. Even before getting to the spa, the hotel radiates luxury. It smells good. It is sparkly clean and all the finishes are top! Getting into the spa happens after they give you a bracelet that your credit card is attached to. From this point on, your bracelet is your access and means to pay. The spa has beautiful lockers and all the top facilities that can be. It spreads over 3 stories and had tens of pools, saunas, and jacuzzis. I would dare to say over 30. Each one has a different theme and different temperatures. There are also guided sessions, 10 to 15 a day. I would HIGHLY recommend going to them. And in between, just roam between the different rooms. On the 3rd floor there is a brasserie. The food is great and the service is exceptional. Bear in mind that Tuesdays are with swimwear. Every other day can be either naked or with a swimwear (naked is mandatory in the sauna, but you can use a towel). We then got the keys to the room, and the room was 5 star level. Great finishes, awesome bed, and very spoiling shower. I literally didn't want to leave! Definitely will go there again. The Well - WELL DONE!

I’ve visited this spa twice for the evening session (17:00–22:00). My first visit was on a Tuesday, where bathing suits are mandatory. The second visit was on another weekday, where guests could choose whether to wear a bathing suit or go nude. Both visits included a stop at their restaurant. General Impressions Both times, the spa wasn’t crowded, and I had plenty of personal space to relax. The selection of saunas is excellent, and the building has a pleasant, inviting feel. However, it does take some time to familiarize yourself with the layout. The outdoor pool is enjoyable but could benefit from a slightly higher temperature. While there isn’t much to do after a couple of hours, the evening session is still a great choice for a relaxing experience. Restaurant The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the vegan and vegetarian options are excellent. The pizzas were just okay. Prices are reasonable overall. However, the service left a sour note. Despite arriving 25 minutes early for our reservation in an almost empty restaurant, we were asked to leave and come back later. When we returned, the restaurant was still mostly empty. Additionally, the staff’s language could be more welcoming. Instead of polite phrasing like, “Could you please leave your towels outside?” we encountered phrasing like, “It’s not allowed. It’s prohibited.” While this didn’t ruin the experience, it could certainly be improved. Practical Information • Towels, slippers, and bathrobes are provided. • Bathing suits must be purchased on-site, but you can keep and reuse them for future visits. Overall, the spa offers a relaxing experience with excellent facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. While the service at the restaurant could use improvement, I still recommend checking it out. If you’re planning a visit, I suggest opting for the evening session for a peaceful and enjoyable time.

This is a review about the spa, not the hotel. Great variety of sauna which were at the right temperature when we visited and never too crowded, except for aufguss which is expected. The staff was nice, competent and ready to help. Our experience was not completely positive tough. There are not enough showers, especially on 1st floor. We struggled to find a place to relax between attractions. All beds on 1st floor were taken and some occupied by people leaving their towels there. And if you do not have access to lounges (hotel guests and members), it is basically the only place with beds. Besides, the area is very loud and crowded. It looks like they haven’t made the best use of the space available. Overall a nice experience, but we’ve visited better spa.

The service was excellent…all the staff was friendly and helpful. The spa area was huge, clean, modern, and inviting. The spa services were excellent as well. I would recommend staying at the hotel for the 3 night package…It allows for early access to the saunas and pools and to take your time to explore.

We ordered the Truffle Pizza for 295 kr. It was very dry, like a stone, and had almost no ingredients—just six small slices of salami and six tiny drops of truffle emulsion on top. You can get a better pizza at REMA 1000 or KIWI.

We went to the evening spa and it was the best I’ve experienced, ever. Beautiful, clean, big enough not be to crowded, such a variety of experiences, special rituals (sauna), nice staff. We will be back for the hotel stay next time. Regarding nudity, I know that will be a personal preference for people but what I can say as a woman is that it felt very safe a totally comfortable.
