"The Affordable Classic Out of all of the burgers, I have currently tasted, I would have to say that if you want a beefed up classic burger like The Stockyard’s Beast Style (their version of the Big Mac), it’s the most affordable at $7.50 (for a single patty. A double patty is $14). Though Stockyards is known for its BBQ and buttermilk chicken, their burgers are equally on par with their selection of burgers. From the classic original to the one with bone marrow and blue cheese (!), the Stockyards cooks some mighty fine meat. Back to the Beast Style - I was impressed with the patty, overall. It was just well cooked. Add in some pickles, that secret sauce, carmelized onions and a classic American cheese slice ooozing off the patty and I’m sold. As much as I love the chicken here, I’ll be back to try another burger. Don’t forget the Stockyards has some fantastic drinks including their limeaid and their ice tea with ginger. If you have time on a nice day or there’s no space in their tiny establishment, head over to the Wychwood Barns park space. Make sure to come on a weekday if you can. The north location means you won't have to wait in line."

"The Stockyards, Saint Clair West by Equal Parts Studio. The place every burger lover should visit when in Toronto. The small space gives you an intimate view of your food being cooked but it also means waiting in line sometimes due to the restaurant's popularity. The decor is kind of rustic and unpretentious and the best things on the menu are: everything. This is not an exaggeration—everything they serve is the best. It’s just a matter of what you’re in the mood for, and if you don’t know then always order the burger. It’s a good place to start. Pro-tip: call ahead, order take out, pick-up the food, walk down to Wytchwood barns and eat in the park."

OMG WOW WOW WOWWWWWWWWW!!! This place is just messy goodness all over it!!!! Kept seeing it on Instagram and we had to go! My wife got the Beast burger and I had the Beef Brisket sandwich. Their fries were not all tight and crispy but had that perfectly set and cooked in the right type of oil. They had this old school diner flavour to them and we destroyed them along with the sandwiches!! Full of flavours, just bursting out at you with every bite! Packed to the hilt with meat, toppings and just the right amount of sauce. Prices reflect the amount you get just right. Really nice lady who took our order and this place is DEFINITELY a return to soon!!! Gotta work our way through the menu it's THAT good!!! Ya gotta go!!!! It's an OH HELL YEAH kinda place to eat at!!!!

The Stockyards is maybe the best small diner Toronto has to offer. Over the years I've tried their smash burgers, hot dog, fried chicken, BBQ ribs and chicken, and a handful of their sandwiches and brunch menu items... everything is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong no matter what order here. My personal favourite is the Porchetta Sandwich; it's as good as any you'll find in the best food markets of Italy. The staff are awesome too.

The food is amazing. We had the burger and fried chicken dinner. I’ve had the ribs on previous occasions. The portion sizes are huge so come with a big appetite. Seating is a problem as this restaurant is always busy and seating options are limited. They also offer classic Coke which is a great supplement to the meal.

Friend and I got the chicken dinner (4pcs+fries+coleslaw=17$) and the BAT (bacon, arugula, fried green tomatoes=$10.50) AMAZING food. Huge portions. The staff are really nice, the music gives a great vibe, and it's a laid back place where your food is made right in front of you. Really enjoyed it!

Absolutely favourite burger place. The patties are juicy and cooked perfectly. They have a solid selection of choices. The prices are reasonable. They also have yummy fried chicken. I love the vibe of this place too. The servers and the cooks are so friendly. I usually sit by the counter and watch them make my food. Last time, I was there, they were singing by the grill and joking with each other. Really added to the atmosphere.

Food - one of the best burgers i've had in a while. Perfectly medium rare, juicy and tasty. Abundance of fries. I've tried coming on a weekend in the past but left because of the long wait times. This time, we went around 6:45pm on a weekday, the fried chicken was room temperature and looks like it may have been cooked an hour ago. Review should be a 3 because of this, but i think if it was fresh, it would be one of the better ones in the city. Atmosphere - basically a "nice" burger joint as it doesn't serve alcohol and wouldn't be called a bar. I came with 6 people total, but more of a 2 person place as there are no tables. Just a long "bar" counter and another long counter on back wall. Service - food come out quick and watched as the cook prepared our food by the bar counter. Pricing is pretty good for a nicer fast food joint. Pet peeve was the cash only payment method...

Somehow, some way, this place manages to never get anything wrong. The fried chicken? Delectable and top notch. The skin is fantastic and the chicken is juicy. The hot sauce compliments it perfectly. Chicken and waffles? Leave you wanting more. The sauce they use is spicy yet sweet, and you'll be reaching to get more of it. Their biscuits? With that sausage gravy, they're amazing. Their Beast Style burger? One of the best in the city, and better than places like Five Guys or Burger's Priest. Fries? Some of the best you will find in Toronto, and gives McDonald's a run for their money. It's super small, so don't go during busy hours. But if you're able to be seated, prepare yourself for amazing tasting food. If you're lucky, you'll get a seat at the bar-like fixture and have a cooking show in front of you.
