"With its rustic, prohibition-era wood interior, you immediately get the impression that you’ve made a good dining choice as you step into this gastropub on Pico Boulevard. And the food absolutely lives up to the atmosphere. Whether it’s lunch, dinner, or the popular weekend brunch you’re here for, their constantly evolving menu offers plenty to satisfy new and repeat diners. Our recommendation: every visit must include at least one order of the Truffle Mac n Cheese." - Clever Creative
"This is an all around great Sushi place, but the thing that makes it extra special is that they have not one, but TWO happy hours! Even when it’s not happy hour here though, the place is very affordable. What sets this place apart from other Sushi joints is the oysters ($1 during Happy Hour) and Yakatori, which is Japanese style grilled chicken on a skewer. It can be a bit crowded for the early happy hour, but the later one (10pm to close) crowding is not an issue." - Clever Creative
"They’re a restaurant first and foremost, but with a couple TVs nestled by the sleek bar, Westside is a low-key spot to watch a game and try a wide variety of flatbreads and sandwiches." - kat hong, james montgomery
