Golden Road Brewery in Atwater Village is a spacious hangout where diverse crowds enjoy globally inspired pub fare and house-brewed beers in a playful, pet-friendly atmosphere.
"Maybe the most diverse crowd you’ll see in Atwater Village at the brewery. Meg and Tony founded Golden Road to “bring fresh beer to the local market in the most sustainable way possible” and in the process have done a lot of bringing people together too. This is where LA communities collide. Families taking advantage of the lawn games, sports watchers, businessmen, college kids and hipsters all blending together over some IPAs. The beer is good, the kitchen is sports bar with a vegan-friendly twist. We aren’t sure why it works so well at Golden Road, but it really does." - Brains on Fire
"Your team is playing like week-old trash, so you might as well drink fresh beer. And that’s what you’ll get at The Pub at Golden Road, where they’re pouring stuff that’s brewed on-site, in a modern space with lots of TVs and a solid menu of snacks." - kat hong, james montgomery
"Sure, Golden Road is the beer equivalent of Kohl’s these days, but their massive brewery space in Atwater Village is still a great place to set up shop for the afternoon and let your kids go buck wild. There’s a sprawling front patio that’s completely astroturfed—which means fewer band-aids—and lined with various games and toys for them to throw at people. As far as the food, there’s a solid enough menu with everything from burgers to salads to carnitas poutine, as well as many vegetarian options." - brant cox
"While there certainly are better craft breweries in LA, there’s no denying that Golden Road’s sprawling Glendale/Atwater Village campus is a great place to watch a game. With multiple patios and TVs in every direction, there isn’t a bad seat in the house, and no matter how big your group is, there always seems to be an available table. There’s also a solid pub food menu, with everything from birria fries and patty melts to giant Bavarian soft pretzels. " - brant cox, sylvio martins
"There are very few things more naturally euphoric to humans than beer and dogs, and at Golden Road in Atwater Village, you get them both at the same time. The large outdoor space is covered in fake grass for the dogs. There's also a shaded “doggie deck,” complimentary dog beds, plenty of water bowls, and even dog biscuits by the bag. And, of course, all the Golden Road beer for you." - Brant Cox
