Nice hotel with super good location. Staff are nice and they all speak great English. And I see many foreigners going around too. Facilities are nice and clean. Decent breakfast too. This hotel has become my go-to choice in Seoul city as long as the price is within my budget.

My friends and I there for my trip to Korea in January, and the location is central for walking and public transportation. The front desk staff is also super friendly and helpful. But more than ever, I have to mention Park Un Seon and Kwon Da Eum from the in-house restaurant, Taoyuen. They were so kind to patiently explain the items on the menu and recommend items based on what we were planning to eat for the day. They sat down with us, didn't rush us, and felt more like a conversation. Their service was impeccable, as well. 덕분에 맛있고 좋은 식사를 즐길 수 있었습니다! Definitely will be visiting again.

Vicky Kim on the concierge team was very helpful in selecting a fantastic BBQ restaurant for our business lunch. The restaurant was close to the hotel, and the food was delicious and served fast. My clients were quite pleased. Vicky was also helpful in telling my driver how to get to the restaurant

The location of this hotel is perfect. The Airport Limo/Bus drops off and picks up out front. Its walking distance to countless attractions (to many to list) markets and rapid transit stations. The lobby is gorgeous and efficient as it's a legacy hotel that has lots of space. Our check in was fast and efficient and all the team members we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The room left a bit to be desired for the price you pay. Perhaps it's seen better days with cracked bathroom wall tiles that were fixed with caulking and not replaced and some mildew in the shower tiles. The rooms may have looked cool and trendy 10 years ago and belong in NY or Miami but not in the heart of Seoul. They had two large lamps on either side of the bed ( at least 8ft tall) and the bed was in the middle of the room. Not conducive to a long stay or lots of luggage. It's defiantly due for a refurbishment/upgrade soon. The pool and fitness studio are across the street/lane in a separate building and also probably is do for a refresh. On the plus side the pool is 20meters and the gym has an extensive amount of equipment for all work out types and a stretch/yoga area.

This hotel feels more suited for business travellers who do not get a say in where they stay than for special occasions. The rooms are quite small, and design details leave much to be desired. For instance, the wardrobe has a curtain instead of a proper door, and if it isn’t closed properly, the light stays on.
There are multiple light sources in the room, including the electronic control panel by the bed, and the blackout curtains are worn and ineffective, all of which negatively impacted our sleep. Additionally, the staff didn’t acknowledge my birthday, which was disappointing and not what I’d expect from a 5-star establishment. The level of attentiveness was lacking.
On a positive note, the fitness facilities were outstanding. Although the gym and pool are located in a separate building, the gym is well-equipped with everything you need, including workout clothes for guests to change into. This was definitely a highlight of the stay.

I chose The Plaza Hotel for my last night in Seoul, expecting a memorable and luxurious experience. However, my stay fell far short of expectations.||||From the moment I entered the room, I was shocked by the unusual and, frankly, unsettling design of the interior. While I understand that design preferences can be subjective, the overall ambiance felt far from inviting or comfortable.||||What was even more disappointing was the service I received. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the room and inquired about alternatives, the staff’s response was unprofessional and dismissive. They immediately mentioned additional charges for an upgrade and even questioned whether I had reviewed the room photos before booking. Instead of offering a solution or empathizing with my concerns, the focus was entirely on the cost. It felt transactional rather than customer-oriented, leaving me feeling unwelcome and unimportant as a guest.||||For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better service and a more accommodating approach. Unfortunately, this experience marred what should have been a special final night in Seoul. I hope the hotel reconsiders its approach to customer service to better align with its reputation and guests’ expectations.

It was good for a business trip. Hope there was halal food for muslims or at least vegetarian menu in the hotel. Moreover, i believe there is faulty electrical grounding as there was a lot of static build up, in phone when its in charge i hade a shock when touching it and even the water tape in toilet.
