Absolutely divine Indian-Italian fusion! I would come for the pizzas alone! Definitely come with a group to try more entrees. My group tried the masala marg pizza, fungi, hara bhara kebab, dosa waffles and dosa onion rings. Highly recommend everything we ordered, they were all server recommended for vegetarians. Masala marg had a great kick and was the perfect hybrid of Indian and Italian. I loved the dosa waffles all dressed up—it had a perfect crispness and was delicious! The mushroom pizza was very Italian and the hara bhara kebab was a yummy veg fritter, that and the dosa onion rings were more on the greasy end, but really nice comfort food. Will definitely be back for the saag pizza and burrata next time! Service and ambiance are fantastic, they’ve got a great seating area in the front and back and the noise level isn’t too overwhelming for a night with friends. Highly recommend!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this Indian pizza restaurant, but was so pleasantly surprised! Our server, Miriam, was so nice and helpful and walked us through what she thought would be best and she was absolutely right! We got the chicken tikka masala, Neapolitan pizza, and the Roman style paneer pizza and it was incredible! My only regret is that we didn’t come with more people to try more things, but we’ll go next time with the whole group!

This is one of the top restaurants on my list in NYC. We ordered so many different varieties of foods and nothing disappointed. Everything was delicious. The design of this place is right on for the East Village with their amazing murals of iconic musicians of the past. Their drinks were amazing. The tamarind ginger margarita was tasty. Jay's pan mule was out of this world. It took me into a spa with incense memory. We got the onion ring tower. Every topping was phenomenal. The red onion used was too die for. Best onion rings ever and the condiments were fantastic. The BURRATA CHAAT blew my mind. Housemade burrata. The blend of flavors. Best bite of my year. The Dosa Waffle aka chicken & waffles was devine. Again, the best I've ever had. The Masala Margarita and Saag Panner pizza was fantastic. Italian American approved. The Roman style and Napoli pizza dough was flavorful and honestly was a 10 out of 10. The braised lamb shank with roti was like an Indian birria version. Excellent. We ordered the sweet paan. 😋 I love spicy food but if you have a level you prefer or don't want spicy definitely mention it. The service was a 10 out of 10. Shout out to Shivam. Best service ever. We will be back to try everything else on the menu because everything looked delicious. They should have a Michelin star. No wonder they won a pizza award in NJ.

We dined at the Onion Tree Pizza Co on a Saturday early in the evening. We walked in without reservations and were seated immediately. The staff members we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. Our server provided great suggestions from the menu on what and how much to order. The meat is halal so we made sure to try several different options. The main draw here is the pizzas and you can choose from either Napoletana or Romana style. We went with the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza in the Napoletana style and it was phenomenal. It was a true blend of Indian and Italian flavours. The Bombay Gumbo hit the spot, especially with the cold weather. I think my favourite dish was the Kerala Chicken Fry. The spices they used were perfect. We also tried a couple of items from the dessert menu. Both the Saffron Panna Cotta and the Chai-fogatto were a great end to one of my favourite meals I’ve had in quite some time. I can’t recommend the place enough and look forward to visiting again.

Onion Tree Fusion Pizza offers a creative take on Indian-inspired pizzas and small plates. The dosa-battered onion rings are a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and unlike anything else. Cocktails were inventive and well-crafted, adding to the experience. The Masala Margherita was a great twist on a classic, and the Paneer Makhani pizza was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. However, the service fell short. On a busy Saturday night, it was extremely slow, which took away from the overall experience. If they can improve the pace, this place has the potential to be a real standout.

Yeah…… this was EXCELLENT. Loved my meal here sm. Took myself on a solo date here but def wanna come back with ppl so we can split a bunch more things. Started with the Dosa Onion Rings which were really tasty. A bit salty but had a great mint chutney and also this tadka hollandaise which was fine, i preferred the chutney. Loved the presentation here too how fun is that! Chose the Saag Paneer Pizza on the Napoletana crust (superior over Romano) and YUPPPPPPP I KNOW THATS RIGHTTTTT THIS WAS FIRE AFFFFF. Guys on first look I was nervous bc the sauce and toppings seemed a little light but they were actually the perfect amount, paneer to saag to onion to chili to bread ratio was on point. Flavor was incredible, paneer was hella soft and felt like it belonged on a pizza. Crust was perfection, both on the edges and on the bottom. Might I add it came unsliced and with a nice big pair of pizza scissors to aid with cutting, which is heaven sent bc cutting napoletana pizza with a standard knife is so difficult. Said yolo and got a mocktail too even tho they seemed a little pricey. Who knows what the future of this country holds so imma indulge leave me alone! The tamarind fizz was very interesting. Ginger beer with lemonade and tamarind. Super tart and a little spicy, but went great with my foods. Id like to shout out the service as well. Better than some upscale restaurants ive been to. Very descriptive and polite, offered to hang my coat, even gave me a coupon for my next visit - which I WILL be using!

Loved the Indian take on pizza that many fave previously tried and failed. Also the apps and sides were awesome. So was the service. Shivam was great!
