The 14 Best Restaurants In Cabo San Lucas & San Jose Del Cabo

"It doesn’t get more Cabo than The Office, where you can sit on the beach, watch the waves come in at Medano Bay, and enjoy the menu consisting mainly of classic Mexican dishes. Local legend has it that The Office was started by an expat who came to Cabo in the 1970s when tourists were basically nonexistent. These days, it's one of the most well-known places in the area, perfect for a meal fueled by burritos, fried fish, hamburgers, and fruity cocktails, all of which taste that much better with your toes in the sand. Dinner on the beach! The ambiance was nice, got to see sunset and boats going back to the marina. Service was great and the food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side but with the atmosphere and right company it’s worth it. Would recommend.

The location is great. Right on the beach with wide views of the sea and the ships. We sat almost right next to the band, which was quite good, so it was a bit noisy. The service was good and fast. One food was great, the other part was quite dry. The drinks were good. Definitely worth a visit. Better reserve in advance.

This place is one giant party! The cocktails are strong, the food is good, and the atmosphere is 10/10. It's festive, it's Mexican, there's tequila being poured everywhere you turn, and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. There are tables available inside and also tables out on the beach, with colorful blankets provided should it be windy at night. It's a great spot for dinner in Cabo, albeit touristy. Get the frozen margarita! It's giant.

Delicious food and even better, and strong, cocktails. Steak & shrimp fajitas dish was delicious! Their passion fruit margarita was very good as well.

This place is awesome! Food is outstanding, service and ambiance is top notch. Went back again the next day for happy hour and was just as good. Fresh fish, ceviche, octopus, all outstanding.

Awesome location with your toes in the sand, marvelous drinks, salsas, especially love the shrimp tacos for lunch and huevos rancheros with chicken enchilada for breakfast, but everything is divine! We’ve been coming here for 21 years since we moved here in 2004. It becomes a weekly habit.!! 😎🥂🍾🪇 Cheers!!

I was planning to save all my reviews until the end of the trip so I could give each place proper attention, but this experience honestly required an immediate review. The restaurant itself is very cute and beachfront, which is what initially drew us in. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The staff seriously lacks transparency. We were asked if we wanted tequila shots, and I specifically said we’d each have one shot of well tequila. What we were served turned out to be $40 USD per shot, with no mention of the price beforehand. That feels incredibly misleading. On top of that, the restaurant allows multiple outside vendors to walk directly onto the property and approach tables, which made the experience uncomfortable and disruptive. At the end, tipping was handled poorly as well. We were asked if we wanted to tip 20% or 25%. We said 15%, and the server responded with, “Oh, 18%?”—despite clearly understanding English. It felt pushy and disrespectful. Overall, while the location is nice, the lack of honesty, aggressive upselling, and uncomfortable atmosphere make this a place I wouldn’t recommend. Be very cautious and ask for prices upfront if you decide to visit.

Cool experience. Super hot under the tents. Very busy place. But wouldn’t go back too expensive. We got steak tacos. They were decent. 1 alcoholic drink 2 steak tacos 1 chips and quac. Over $90
