The NOW Massage West Hollywood

Johnny has become my go-to therapist whenever I visit The Now. I have chronic migraines exacerbated by tension headaches, and I was told by my doctor (embarrassingly for the past 5 years) that I needed to make regular massages a part of my routine. After an especially migraine-heavy month, I finally decided to get a membership at The Now. Since visiting Johnny every other week, I’ve gone from consistently having 2-3 debilitating migraines per week, to only one manageable migraine in the past two months. It’s totally changed my functionality, and now I prioritize my bi-weekly massage above everything else. I would recommend Johnny and The Now to anyone!! Bonus: if you happen to fall deeply asleep during your massage and begin snoring, the amazingly soothing sound of ocean waves crashing throughout the studio completely masks your snores, which for socially anxious people such as myself, is a huge plus.

I’ve been coming to The Now consistently for over a year and Michelle is by far the best massage therapist I have tried! She actually cares about your problem areas and checks in throughout to make sure the level of pressure is okay. I would highly recommend booking with her for your next massage!

I absolutely love this location. The Massage Therapists are incredible! I particularly enjoy working with Adam, Ricardo and Carmella but there’s many other great therapists. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience from top to bottom.

Would leave zero if I could. My masseuse was Jonny. From the moment I walked in, he basically jumped down my throat to get the massage started. I had a deep tissue bonus—he asked where I wanted to focus and he said it’s best to skip my lower body to do that, so I asked for 5 minutes of lower body and then to focus on the deep tissue which he seemed displeased with. During the massage, he ignored that entire conversation and ended up spending half the time on my legs and used little to no pressure on my entire body, completely ignoring the deep tissue add on I paid for. What’s worse, I had to listen to dogs barking during the ENTIRE massage. Towards the end, I had to interrupt the massage to ask what’s going on with the dogs and he said he could offer me earplugs but that it would cut into my massage time. When I brought this up to the front desk after they told me I should have asked in advance…? How am I supposed to know I was supposed to ask for this… Would not recommend. Go anywhere else. Massage was below average and trash for the price. Customer service nonexistent. Following details of a reservation doesn’t exist. Listening to dogs barking during your entire experience is disturbing and the last thing during what should be a relaxing hour.

Caylen was my massage therapist, and he was incredible! His deep understanding of the body really helped alleviate my back pain. I always leave feeling fantastic after each visit, and I do feel a difference in my overall well-being.
