Worst experience ever! I was at home and was craving for momos as I love them I decided to order, on uber eats. I paid 30 $ and it was buy 1 get 1 free , I ordered chilly momo and butter chicken momo. The outer covering was extremely thick and was undercooked, it was not soft, it was hard as the dough wasn't steamed properly. I barely could eat any portion and separated the outer covering. The chutney was not any good, just bland tomato sauce. After some time my stomach hurt . I saw the reviews here ( the owner replies to all negative reviews as if that is commented by a competitor momo restaurant) but that's not the case, people do have negative reviews about the momo quality and the owner should accept it, and work on the quality. The motive should not be of just sending the order (uncooked) and finishing the task. Food should be sent with love and care , and should satisfy the customer . It was such a waste of my money. Extremely felt like nightmare . I have clicked photos too. Will never order from this location again I have tried the Momo house from Bay , they were ok.

I ordered three different items (butter momos (chicken), chilly momos (beef) and fried momo (potatoes). I really liked the butter momos. The sauce was very tasty. My mom liked the potato fried momo. My mom and I weren’t a fan of the chilly beef momo. Also I’m not sure which momo my aunt had previously as she said they were huge. But overall we liked the food.

The place is a one timer for momo lovers out there. The ambiance was fine. The momos were okayish. Not soo delicious. The attenders were welcoming and groomed well. Their menu as well as space is short. Not convenient to accommodate large crowd. I ordered chilli momo and kurkure momo. The sauce or side dip for the kurkure momo was not sufficient . They lack parking too. The wait time was normal. Overall , it was okayish

Great momo spot with your options of sauces and fillings. You can make any combination you like - filling, sauce, and steamed/fried. The service is quick and the staff is courteous too. Awesome work The MoMo House team! Will be back for more.

Cosy momo place tucked away in the Tibetan market. Lovely interiors. Ordered the Chicken and Pork steamed momos. The quantity of Pork was very less compared to the outer coating. Chicken momos were fine. Could have been more flavourful.

I went here with my friends for dinner on a stormy winter night. Their warm momos were perfect for such a cold night. Best thing is that all their chicken options are halal. I got the chicken kurkure momos and paired it with mango Lassi. I also shared chicken steam momos with my friend. I loved the taste, presentation and overall experience. I can't wait for their danforth branch to open as well. I would love to go back here soon.

We tried the vegetarian thali, chilli chicken momo, chicken steamed momo, and the chowmein platter. The taste was remarkable, with the real, authentic flavors of Tibetan cuisine shining through. Despite it being rush hour, the staff were exceedingly friendly, providing food recommendations as it was my first time dining here. The place even had a quaint patio seating area outside, which was a highlight for us as we wanted to enjoy our meal in the open air. Overall, I adored the food! I'll certainly return whenever I'm in Toronto.

Had this place bookmarked forever and finally got the chance to try in the summertime. All of the options sounded so good I couldn't make up my mind so the lady at the counter recommended the steamed beef ones as an introduction for a beginner. I took my order to go and ate it in the car on the way home, enjoying every bite while I was stuck in Toronto traffic. The momo wrapper/pastry (?) was soft and tender, the meat filling was juicy and savoury and dipped in the side sauce was just so dang good. I'd love to return again someday and try more kinds!!

Food: This restaurant has a selection of unique momos (Tibetan dumplings). For most options you can choose whether you want them fried or steamed. When it comes to momos, my friend and I agree that beef is best. Kukure momo: A fried momo battered in mashed up Kurkure chips, this one did not give me the flavour punch from the Kurkure chips (Masala Munch?) that I was expecting. Perhaps a sprinkling of the Kurkure chips powder or a sauce to dip in can elevate the taste. Butter chicken momo (steamed): We got chicken and should have got beef. This is a neat fusion of two cuisines but not a top contender for me. Chilli momo (fried): The highlight of my meal and favourite. I will come back to eat this again, it is saucy and has a kick of heat! Service & atmosphere: Comfortable environment, seating ranges for 1 to a group of 6. A nice place for a date, 1:1 meetings, catching up with friends and families. Pricing: For not-your-everyday momo, it was worth a trip, will try the chat momo in a future visit.

We were craving momos and headed to Parkdale as there's a plethora of options! Decided on MoMo House as I was craving Chili or Tandoori Momos. Unfortunately, they don't have Tandoori Momos yet so I got the Steamed Chili Chicken. They don't offer these momos steamed but I asked and they happily obliged. YAY! These were massive - I got 8 with chili sauce drizzled all over. This chili sauce is no joke because it's HOT! My mouth was burning from the heat but the momos were delicious!! My husband got two orders of the Steamed Beef Momos (plain) which has 10/order and he enjoyed them! These are smaller and a different shape but still very flavourful. We bought truly enjoyed our choices! I think most of the menu is under $10 so definitely a bargain! Super friendly service and I can't wait to come back here again! COVID: most of the restaurant is marked off, you pay via card or tap only. Masks enforced.

Good tasting dumplings paired with different sauces, best with the hot sauce it comes with. My favourite was the fried pork and chilli chicken.

An amazing venture by the guys at Tibet Kitchen. I've eaten from here thrice in one week and that should make my feelings about this place clear. I've only done take out so far and hence cannot comment on the service style but Mr.H had the opportunity to visit and said it was great. The Chilli Momo is our favorite followed by the Butter Chicken, in fact I wish they sold the sauce separately too! Lol The Jhol Momo and the Chaat Momo are pretty good too. I love that now there is a place where you can get only momos on the menu. A must try for sure!

"It's just that originally, momos are of Tibetan origin while dumplings are of Chinese origin." - Googles answer to the difference between dumplings and momos. Honestly, the name is what made me want to try it. MoMo house had a good backing online, so here we go. The restaurant has a nice warm environment. Great for family and groups. From the metal water containers to the decor it has that South Asian feel. The staff was great, not hesitant to explain the various items. The owner was on the floor ensuring that we were having a good time, good guy. The menu is straightforward and simple. If going with 3+ people just order the large quantity. Fried / Chicken / Momo - Crispy shell with a nice filling. you can see actual pieces of chicken. Fried / Kurkure / Momo - Honestly, I could not find a significant difference from the regular fried asides from the batter. Fried / Butter Chicken / Momo - Really good, coated with a nice sauce would recommend. Fried / Chili Momo - Overall we concluded that this is the top out of the 4. If you tried chili chicken then this is no different. Hot Sauce / Mayo - Had to be scotch bonnet or something, a little bit of that with some mayo ........... In comparison to traditional dumplings, was nice to try something different especially with the different varieties. I would recommend it and would try again. Still have to try the steamed counterparts and other similar joints, to get the full Momo experience. For the price and the food no complaints. 4.5/5

Lot of Tibetan and MOMO options in PARKDALE now. Personally, I preferred most of the others I've visited. One main issue; food is warm, definitely not hot. The variety is good, tandoori, butter chicken

This place is absolutely amazing! It's located in Parkdale close to their sister restaurant of Tibet Kitchen which is also good. Their momos are made in house. The owner even showed us a video of his employees wrapping the momos in the back. There are many different flavours to choose from. The momos are quite large in size as well and very reasonable price. My favorite is their butter chicken momos and the kukure momos. Make sure you mix up the different momos will the fillings so you get to taste different things. The owner is extremely friendly and want to make sure you enjoy their food. Just a heads up they are either cash or debit. Definitely a place I will be back!

Cute, cozy, delicious momos - Momo House specializes in, you got it, momos! All the momos we tried were delicious, oversized with generous stuffing, and very unique. We tried the flavorful butter chicken momos, kurkure (breaded in crushed cornflakes and deep fried for crunch - amazing), the jhol momos in a slightly nutty roasted soybean sauce, and chili momos in a sweet and mildly sour chili sauce with peppers and onions. Definitely try the tomato achar (chutney) with the Kurkure momos - this combo was to die for and one of the more unique texture & flavor combinations I've had in terms of momos. Great place for cozy comfort food with a spin, highly recommend.

Solid fast casual concept on Queen West. We ordered several different momos and everything was very tasty. It's definitely more of a modern take on momos but I'm not complaining.

Lovely lil place on Queen Street West, Momos are essentially Tibetan dumplings. If you like dumplings, then Momos are an awesome extension of that. I went on a Saturday night, not super busy, was able to get a table at around 6pm something. Homey but a nice atmosphere with not too many tables (at most 10). Tenzing, who I'm guessing is the owner is all smiles and super friendly. You basically go up to the cashier and place your order (leave your name down as well). Momos come in 4 proteins (chicken, beef, pork and veggie). Also sold via Steamed and Fried, as well offer a small variety of Indian based sauces/curries. I got the steamed (pork), chaat fried (beef), Butter Chicken (chicken steamed) and the Chili (veggie, fried). The dough on a Momo is a touch thicker than your standard dumpling but I think that's what gives it a different texture, and the seasoning inside is vastly different. Also the Momos had some beautiful pleats, nicely wrapped and no holes to be seen. The beef and pork were probably my proteins out of the 4 (though honestly they all taste really good). Would recommend the chaat and the butter chicken as my go-tos. Overall, if you love dumplings, I think you'll love this place, no doubt.

This was our first time at this restaurant. A small Restaurant with handful tables. Food was quick and had good flavour. The owner and service was warm and great. My son devoured the steam chicken momo. The chat momo was also great - not strong chat flavour but perfect balance. Definitely visiting the place again.

The owner of this location is the same as the Tibet kitchen. We met him for the first time while visiting the Tibet kitchen and he's the most jolly person you'll ever meet. We happened to run into him outside which browsing around and he invited is for chai and monos on this cold rainy day and I have to say it was the perfect way to end the night! We ended up getting the pan fried momos with had a nice crunch to the momos. They have a Variety of cooking styles as well as fillings so you can give them all a try!

If you're craving for some steamed momos, this place is perfect. I got the butter chicken momos n they were really really good. As dine in was not available took this to-go! Taste wise great.

Great spot and will definitely come back again! The service was quick and friendly and the food was good. Got takeout during the lockdown and ordered the fried butter chicken momos. They were wrapped well (didn't fall apart) and fill of flavor. Note that the stuffing isn't made of butter chicken but is in the sauce. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

I am a big fan of momos and have been trying numerous places for the Most authentic style momos. I tried this place for the first time and the momos were really good and I loved the preparation . Located on the west street Toronto and is very close to downtown. I ordered their steamed veggie momos , veggie lover colorful momos and kurkure momos . I must say that I am going to visit this place again and will be on top of my list if I have momo cravings again. The prices are reasonable as well.Around $11 for a large plate of 10 piece momos and they are very good in size as well. Completely satisfied. Kudos to the restaurant .

Highly recommend this place for people who crave for the Indo-Tibet style Momos in GTA. Our favorite flavors were the Chilli Chicken & Kurkure Chicken Momos. When we return next, we will try the Chat Momo as well. Also would mention that the owner is a really friendly person and no wonder he has a repeat customer business going on.

Dope MoMo spot! Friendly service but we could tell the man was a little overwhelmed with the full house for dinner service. The decor is hip and there's a lot of space in the dining area. Limited seating though, probably could only fit 30 guests. Menu options abound and the soups are great too! Definitely will be back to try out the rest of the menu.

All the momos were great. The jhol momo was alright, it didn't have any particular flavour! The chaat momo and the kurkure momo were the best! We got the deep friend version with beef in it. Must try.

Fun little spot for momos in Parkdale. We tried the veggie momos in butter chicken sauce and the veggie Manchurian momos. Loved both! My bf ordered the crispy chicken momos and said he loved those as well. They were cooked well and had good amount of filling in them/ The portions were decent and fairly priced. Just wish they had a few more options available especially with shrimp. Overall a cute spot for an evening meal!

Amazing Momo's, service and atmosphere all at a reasonable price. Food was really delicious and I enjoyed that you could get vegetarian momo's dressed in all varieties. Highly recommended

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect and as soon as I was told they sold dumplings I was on the fence but let me tell you. The best food experience ever ,I can't wait to go back and try more things off the menu. I tried the Butter Chicken MoMo, Chilli Chicken MoMo (so spicy but worth it) and the Shabhaley(Beef Patty) . We called in for takeout and got our order so fast. My first Tibetan food experience was a great one. Thank you The MoMo House.

Tried almost everything including the new paneer momo's and everything was delicious!!! Kurkure veggie momos, or the chili momos were both so flavorful... really no bad choices and super friendly folks. Enjoy!

Tibetan food was definitely not something I expected to have on a Sunday night but glad we came to the Momo house. Great selection of food and very different than what I am accustomed to. They have a small menu but this makes it much easier to figure out what to get. We ate a few of the Momo dishes which are very similar to dumplings with a twist. Would recommend if in the area.

One of my favourite places for Momos in Parkdale. Get the Kurkure and dip them in the butter chicken sauce from the Butter Chicken Momos. Delish!

Really great Momo's! The Momo itself is big and filling and the meats are delicious! They were juicy and tender and not over-drying like some places. I've tried: -Steamed beef MoMo in butter chicken (GREAT combination) -steamed chicken Momo in butter chicken -fried and steamed chicken Momo in chilli -fried and steamed beef and chicken Momo in chat Overall, I love the butter chicken momos! The sauce was sweet and creamy! A must try for sure! Also the hot and mild sauces on the side are a good add on to the Momo for that extra kick!

This place is absolutely fantastic. The Momo you find here cannot be found anywhere in Canada. Kurkure Momo is my favorite and butter chicken is delightful. I recommend this place for momo.
