The Modern Tour - Palm Springs

my husband and I recently booked this tour during a trip to Palm Springs and it was an absolute delight. it was super easy to book and extremely well-organized and efficiently run. our tour guide, Michael, was so friendly and knowledgeable, offering truly incredible visits inside three unique homes. it was a highlight of our trip and made for such a fabulous memory. if you’re visiting the area, you simply must book one of these tours. trust me, you will not regret it!

I took this tour for the first time in 2016. I was so impressed with it that when I had guests from out of town visiting, I took it for a second time last November with my guests. I have to say even a second time it is one of the best tours I have been on. Michael's commentary and knowledge makes it a real treat. Even the second time around there was very little duplication. My guests and I had a wonderful time. If you love modern architecture and want to see inside some spectacular places, this is the tour for you. I highly recommend it and wouldn't be surprised if I do it again one day.

For any lover of mid century modern architecture and design this tour is a must. To see and go inside homes I had ogled in photos online was a surreal and truly amazing experience. This tour has the access to the iconic homes you want to see and the knowledge of and passion for the period. The best part of my trip to Palm Springs and would recommend to all mcm lovers visiting Palm Springs. Anyways, I need to move here now!

My fiancé and I loved this tour! Michael is a wonderful host and extremely knowledgeable. We saw three houses which were all beautiful and different from each other. Getting to actually go inside the houses vs just viewing them from the outside made all the difference and for that reason alone, I highly recommend this tour. We also learned some interesting facts about the history of Palm Springs while we were traveling between houses. This is the tour to book if you’re looking for an insider’s view of Palm Springs!

Amazing tour if you are into mid-century architecture. Learned new things about Palm Springs and the three houses we visited (inside and outside) on the tour were gorgeous. Michael did a great job. Highly recommended.

What made this tour special was that it allowed for a look at the interiors of three modern homes from various periods. The driving tour of the various neighborhoods and the explanation of the design philosophy and how it fit the environment and history of the area were great, but we felt only by getting the "inside look" allowed an understanding of what it feels to live inside one of the homes, and why the design is so well suited to the environment. Michael Stern was knowledgeable and entertaining, and we really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

Michael did a wonderful tour of some amazing houses! We especially enjoyed seeing the interiors of these incredible gems! I highly recommend the tour to anyone who has an interest in architecture !
