Nestled in a charming 1900 building in Greenwich Village, The Marlton Hotel offers cozy, stylish rooms, a chic Mediterranean restaurant, and a vibrant lobby vibe, making it a perfect urban retreat.
"In this town there are always bigger, swankier, more luxurious hotels. Personality is the only way out of that arms race. The Marlton is swanky enough, in its Parisian-inspired way, and it’s also realistically priced, so as to make space for a more eclectic clientele. It’s been described as a sort of baby Bowery, and that’s not inaccurate — imagine the Bowery Hotel on a cozier scale with a slightly more residential vibe, and you’re most of the way there." - MICHELIN Guide
"Walking into the Marlton feels like being transported to the 19th century, where there's little evidence of modern technology, and where guests and locals hang out in the dimly lit, fireplace-warmed lobby, which features lots of dark wood and antique rugs. The beauty of being here is forgetting what era you're in. Rooms are small, but beautiful, and if you feel too cramped, you're right in the middle of Greenwhich Village and all it has to offer. Hotel guests move to the top of the list at the in-house restaurant, Margaux. That's a good thing, as you'll want to try the Amish rotisserie chicken with smashed sweet potato and burnt lemon. Having a glass of wine by the fireplace in the gorgeous lobby is the perfect thing to do on chilly evenings. As is being able to take the elevator right upstairs to the room afterwards." - John Wogan, Nicole Schnitzler, CNT Editors, Sandra Ramani
"Perfect For: A Fireplace || Comfortable couches. A fireplace. Art on the walls. Now you know." - hillary reinsberg
"The Marlton’s cocktail bar is a quiet, understated affair tucked away in the hotel’s lobby between the check-in desk and its French-Mediterranean cafe, Margaux. The bar menu includes various well-crafted cocktails, like the smooth Greenwich Gold (bourbon, honey, lemon, allspice dram), and mastered classics like the old fashioned. In winter time, the lobby fireplace roars and seats surrounding it are in high demand." - Paul Schrodt, Jessica Ma, Bao Ong
"So the historically inspired Marlton, the century-old Greenwich Village hotel which once hosted the likes of Jack Kerouac and Julie Andrews, is perfectly in character. It’s also perfectly full of character." - The MICHELIN Guide
