The Manor Hotel

Manor is not worth a review! Its awful. And to pay ₹12000/- per night is loot compared to facilities. Disinterested staff. Only at the gate you are welcomed by fake smiles &folded hands. Room service is zilch. No soap provided in the toilet. We stayed 4 nights. Were promised complimentary breakfast - but were made to pay 1250 per person for 2 eggs & bread. Top heavy place -best western NFC was a palace compared to this back of beyond dump

I recently stayed at the Manor Hotel and had a pleasant experience. Especially staff here are warm welcoming, gentle and good mannered. It was most beautiful experience in my life.

Be careful before you book this one. This is being run as a hotel but it is like an Airbnb with several limitations. Also, this is a residential area and technically the hotel should not exist here. There are so many options other than this. Some of the issues I and my colleague faced, 1. This is major- Major issue with the shower head. The water pressure is very low, which makes it very difficult to take a proper shower. They apparently fixed it but it was not completely fixed in my view. 2. This is major- There is a significant vibration due to the train underground. Waking you up in the middle of the night. 3. This is major- Entry gates have some major issues. They tend to close the gates and it's always so difficult for an uber to figure out which one is the right one. I don't live here so I have no idea about this. 4. This is major- Power outage due to the short circuit. Waking guests up in the middle of night as the guy was fixing it with a hammer making quite a bit of noise. 5. This is minor- Some basic rules on laundry. Once the laundry is done, a new laundry bag needs to be placed. Once again as I said, this is being operated as an Airbnb and not a hotel. 6. This is minor- Breakfast promotions should be widely adopted and not only at the receptions. It makes customers' lives difficult. Make it easy for customers. 7. This is moderate- It was a little bit of disappointment to find out as there was no fitness room available to use here. When asked, the answer is because of the residential area and covid. Once again, this is not a customer's problem. It's something that is expected. These are basic things.

It seems that many of the reviews for this restaurant are paid and not genuine. About 80% of the reviews appear to be incentivized, with the restaurant offering ₹100 to people in exchange for a 5-star rating.

The rooms are okay but the bathrooms are unsafe. The room I stayed in had only a bath tub with a shower head fixed within the same enclosure. The bath tub was very slippery and no slip mat is provided. I had a nightly fall and injured my back very badly. Luckily it wasn’t worse. Not much choice for in room dining. The staff are polite and friendly.

I was to have a meeting in delhi and have been avoiding it as I truly do not like that city. However, since I had to go myself, I was on a lookout for a place that is not a tower hotel! ||I came across this boutique luxury hotel called The Manor and felt it just perfect also it was just 16 mins away from Connaught Place, where my meeting was scheduled. ||The cobble paths for cars, 12 room property in a quiet neighbourhood of Friends Colony was more than I could have ever imagined, it was beyond bang on. It was everything I wanted it to be. I reached at dinner time and Camillo’s is where V and I had an Italian meal. The salmon linguine was one of the best I’ve had. Eating happily under some heat and in the outdoor garden with the slight Delhi chill in the air. ||Room 2 was nice and spacious with a little veranda, it was on the Ground floor,,this signature room was fine but the shower cubicle is too tiny and needs to be spacious! ||The next night after my meeting I ate at Inja, their Indian - Japanese restaurant on the property. It’s an experience like no other. I’m blown away and everyone I know in Delhi or travelling there should eat here! |Taste, texture, guidance and flavours full of goodness made me a total fan of the food and the crazy yummm cocktails! I think I had 3! I cannot stop raving about this deliciousness called Inja! ||If someone says Delhi to me now, this will be my preferred place! The Manor is quaint, charming and is made for me. During my solo trip to New Delhi, I spent one peaceful night at a hotel nestled in a quiet, leafy suburb, providing a serene escape from the city's hustle. The staff's attentiveness was remarkable, extending from the front desk to the restaurant, making me feel valued and well-cared for.||My room, although lacking natural light with a window facing another building, was comfortable and impeccably clean, featuring a bed that was a delight to sleep in. The dark room was ideal for uninterrupted sleep, which suited my itinerary as I mostly needed the room for resting.||The hotel's restaurant food was good, making dining there pleasant. ||This hotel is an excellent choice for solo travelers seeking a quiet retreat with attentive service in New Delhi. I would happily recommend it to others traveling alone, looking for comfort and tranquility in the city.||Staff at Carmelo by the name of Raju Singh was great. He explained all the options at the restaurant and provided good suggestions. ||
