The Inn Above Tide

The Inn of the Tide is a wonderful hotel and is not far from drive to San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge. The Staff is wonderful as they go above and beyond the duties. ||The view of the San Francisco Skyline and Bay from the Hotel is Spectacular as well as the Sunrise over the Berkeley Hills. The Ferry is right next to the hotel for quick visits to the City. It's the Ritz of the Bay Area with a better view.

From the moment you arrive at the Inn, you will be transported to your “happy place”! This Inn does everything right. From friendly staff to a perfect complimentary wine and cheese hour, and an amazing breakfast - there is not a lot of room for improvement here. Did I mention the rooms? The view cannot be beat and the bed was so comfortable! I loved being able to walk to good restaurants and being on the water for my morning hike. I slept better here than I had in quite a while. I cannot recommend enough this amazing place. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a great view of the ferry, dolphins, sea lions, and so many birds. The wine and cheese was a lovely afternoon break. We walked to shops and dinner. Breakfast delivered to our room was yummy and so convenient! Great location and highly recommend

I am a repeat guest and have the pleasure of staying at the Inn Above Tide, and as always, it exceeded all my expectations. The suites are incredibly comfortable and luxurious, offering everything you need for a perfect stay. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque landscape that made my stay incredibly relaxing. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The management and employees went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and always willing to assist with any request I had. One of the best parts about staying at the Inn Above Tide is its prime location in downtown. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local area. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal or some retail therapy, everything is just a short walk away. The combination of the stunning view, outstanding service, luxurious suites, and the convenience of nearby amenities truly made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend the Inn Above Tide to anyone looking for a perfect getaway by the water. I can't wait to return!

We loved our view and balcony. Incredible views of downtown San Francisco, Angel Island, Tiburon, and Alcatraz. We loved the pillows so much, we purchased them! Yes, they are on the menu of for sale items. Wine and cheese happy hour every evening. Continental Breakfast each morning. Literally steps away from all the happenings in Sausalito. Great shops and restaurants right there.

The Inn Above Tide is beyond excellent. A gorgeous hotel on the water with every detail attended to. The staff was fantastic. Our room and the deck were insane. We watched the fog rolling in and out, seals playing, and pelicans wheeling by. The service is exceptional. The room itself was beautiful and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. At the afternoon offering of wine and cheese, we had great conversation with other guests. Honestly, the experience wanted for nothing. I would go back again any time.

We love the location, always a great night's sleep. Easy access to get around Marin, also easy to get into SF via driving or the ferry. The complementary casual breakfast buffet is also really good. Valet makes it really easy to park and retrieve your car. The people who work there are great. Honestly, the interiors could use an update, but for the price, I'm ok with it as is.

Exquisite. The Inn Above the Tides provided deal service, comfort, and a understated sense of luxury. The breakfasts were extravagant (esp. when they were billed as "continental") and the wine-and-cheese early evening offering was lovely and cheerful. Our room was 201, with a veranda on the water, a fireplace, a good bed with terrific linens, and nicely appointed throughout. We look forward to returning.
