"The Hotel Telluride is close to town and the slopes but just removed enough from the action to feel like a tranquil mountain getaway. Here, the warm lobby welcomes guests with a large fireplace, comfy couches, and board games, as well as a dedicated check-in area for pets, who are allowed for a small fee and treated to house-made biscuits. A snow storm had closed CO145 and we needed a room for the night. The Hotel Telluride was a last minute find but turned into a wonderful experience on a snowy evening. Laura at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Angel guided us safely around the block for garage parking. We were able to order a meal at the restaurant. Chelsea was prompt, friendly and gave good food recommendations. The town of Telluride was beautiful in the morning. We had a great rest and were able to complete our travel the next day. Thank you again for the great accommodations.

I enjoyed the stay and glad we chose a hotel in town. The front desk staff were professional and very friendly. Answered all of our questions. Parking was in their underground garage and $20. Parking on the street did not seem to be an option. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. We had a quick late night bite to eat at the hotel bar/restaurant. Staff were excellent. Hotel is a short walk to main street shops and the gondola. A grocery store is basically across the street which was convenient to stock up on a few things.

The room we had was really nice. We had a double bed since there were three of us. The beds were pretty comfortable but small. I think they were full sized where two queens would have been more ideal. The room was clean, and plenty of towels were provided. Patio was small (we didn't use it anyway), and the views were okay. The parking was interesting. My truck wouldn't fit in the garage, so I had to use the "overflow" parking out back. Parking is 20$ a night. I don't think I saw that in the reservation. It's not a huge deal. it just would be nice to have that information noted somewhere. The market is across the street, and everything on "Main St" is about 10 minutes within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again.

We recently stayed at Hotel Telluride and, overall, it was a fantastic experience. Finding a dog-friendly hotel is such a privilege, and we appreciated every moment of it. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, and the free shuttle service to the downtown area was an excellent convenience. However, there was one disappointing interaction that slightly dampened our stay. In the evening, a staff member at the lobby responded quite rudely to a situation with our dog. Our dog let out a single, non-aggressive bark, and we were warned in a manner that felt unnecessarily harsh. Later, the same staff member followed up again, but unfortunately, the tone was still rude and not constructive. While we understand that barking can be disruptive to other guests, we feel that a dog-friendly hotel should also be more understanding of such situations. Light, occasional barking is natural and not entirely avoidable. We encourage the hotel to ensure all staff address such matters more politely and considerately in the future. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay otherwise and would recommend this hotel for its overall excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and commitment to accommodating pets.

We arrived at The Hotel Telluride on December 9th and informed the staff that our 16-month-old was unwell. The staff went above and beyond to assist us—they helped unload our car, brought our bags to our room, and even gave us a ride to the local hospital. After our visit to the hospital, they promptly came to pick us up. The driver also thoughtfully reminded us to order dinner before it got too late. Although we had to cut our trip short and return to Texas, we truly appreciated the exceptional care and service during our stay. We look forward to returning in the future. - The Reeds

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff. Located towards the end of the town but they have a complimentary shuttle to take you wherever you need to go. Rooms are slightly dated but overall a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

This place is super cute and old school rustic. Lots of dark wood, art, fires, etc. It is really close to downtown so you can walk easily. They also have two hot tubs on the deck attached to the gym which were awesome!

The room was very comfortable and quite nicely decorated. The staff was exceptionally nice, especially Conner. They are very dog friendly and know how to make your dog and the guests feel very welcome. We enjoyed it very much and also liked sitting by the fireplace with coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night.
