The Hayes Street Hotel Nashville

We had a great experience at the Hayes Street Hotel in Nashville! This boutique hotel has so much character—little details, like the bathroom layout, reveal the building’s age but only add to its unique charm. The rooms and common areas were super clean, and the staff made us feel right at home with their friendliness and hospitality. The valet was efficient and welcoming, making my arrival a breeze. The hotel’s location was perfect for us: tucked away in a quiet spot yet close enough to join the Broadway action whenever we wanted. Can’t wait to stay here again!

We were forced to stay here for a Stay-to-play tournament. We stayed 3 nights, and room service never once came. Our one tiny trashcan was overflowing by the time we left, and the single bar of soap was crumbled to nothing. The website advertised queen beds, but we definitely had a room with two full sized beds. It was a tight fit for two adults and two children. The breakfast was continental and subpar. Parking around there is no less than $28 per night... with valet at $42 per night, unless by some miracle you can find a spot on the street. The bathroom had moldy grout. The shower pressure was amazing though... with extra hot water.

Had a great experience, staff were super lovely. Check in was a breeze. Great location, great local places around and broadway is a quick Uber. No external noise can be heard. Bed was super comfy and bathrooms were lovely. Would definitely come back

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. I stayed at the Hayes Hotel Friday-Sunday with my best friend. The location is good enough. Parking is $40 a night. The hotel is small. The lobby looks decent enough. The bartender was not there for happy hour. The rooms are disgusting. We changed rooms three times. The first room had a bathroom sink with dirt in it. The hallway carpets are disgusting and need to be replaced. The second room they put us in had a huge spot on the ceiling where you could see there was water damage and the walls were dirty as well. We settled for a room on the first floor. The window looked straight into the parking garage where we got to hear car alarms go off constantly. There was one garbage can in the whole room. There was barely any lighting in the room. The tub filled up with water while showering. We witnessed another lady complaining about the condition of her room as well and apparently her sink wasn’t working properly. The front desk attendant was very unapologetic and unfazed by all of the complaints. Do not stay at this hotel, the price is not worth it and there are plenty of better hotels in the area.

The only decent thing about this hotel is the location. Valet parking is available but at a cost of $40 a day. Floors throughout the lobby and hallways are nasty. Rooms weren’t clean, not dirty exactly but not clean. There’s only one trashcan in the entire room but it had no trash bag in it. The bathroom shower/tub had pink mold and soap scum all in it. The refrigerator in the room did not work, and when told about it they didn’t seem to care at all. No microwave provided in the rooms. The noise in the rooms are terrible, hearing everything outside and from within other rooms.

I was in town only for one night but I really liked this hotel. Front desk staff was very accommodating and the valet staff was excellent! My room was exceptionally clean not a spec of dust anywhere not even the corners! I was impressed! I mentioned to the valet where we had planned to go that evening and he suggested we take a Lyft vs our vehicle to save$$$ on parking and he was right! I really appreciated that. He also recommended a great coffee shop just two blocks away and the Mexican restaurant next door was terrific! I didn’t use the bar but would have perhaps next time. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Well let’s see there is a list: The staff will hang up on you when you call the desk, the front desk staff are rude when speaking to them, they hit you with charges that you didn’t authorize, no one is ever at the front desk, the valet guys and always never at the podium to get your car. I chose to check in at 1 to 2 pm arrived at 130 and they charge me an extra 25 bucks at checkout stating I checked in early. I chose the check in time on booking.com and nowhere in the checkin process did anyone say anything about an early check in for a hotel that had hardly anyone in it. Now I see why

Made a weekend reservation for my daughter who is not yet 21 yo, hotel staff assured check in would be fine. Made the booking. Called back to confirm our reservation details to be told “no you will need to have someone 21+ present to check in”. Rather difficult since her mom and dad are 2000 miles away. Manager refused to allow a cancellation for full refund, so feel like we were scammed honestly. Hotel refuses to stand by their word or with their hotel staff. So here is an honest review of their dishonesty. I’ll play by their rules but really wish decency and understanding might prevail. Not today it seems, sorry broke college daughter. Untrustworthy management and very poor customer service. Find another property to support, there are kinder and more professional properties in Nashville.
