Just had four nights here with my wife on a city break. What a superb hotel. We arrived at lunchtime which was obviously too early to check in but we were able to leave our cases at the hotel and head off into the city. It is in a wonderful location, being adjacent to the Opera House and the Albertina Museum and a ten minute stroll to St. Stephen’s Cathedral.|We booked a deluxe double room and there was really nothing to find fault with. They had thought of everything and it was spotlessly clean. There was a comfortable seating area, large double bed and a spacious bathroom. I particularly liked the window seat. Great spot to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing with a glass of wine, just watching the comings and goings of Vienna. An espresso machine is included along with a well stocked minibar. Soft drinks, beer and four bottles of wine per day are included in the price. The only things that are extra are champagne, sparkling wine and snacks.|We dined in the hotel restaurant on the day we arrived. It isn’t the most extensive menu but the setting is attractive and the Wiener schnitzel was excellent. One advantage of being a hotel guest is you can take wine from your room down to the restaurant at no extra charge.|This really is one of the best, if not the best, hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is excellent, the facilities are first class and the staff were all helpful and extremely pleasant. Should we return to Vienna, there is only one place we will be staying in and it’s here.

This was the hotel that we weren’t sure about but it turned out to be the best honestly. Besides the perfect location, the hotel has a bakery/ restaurant that is really good for food and coffee. We were very surprised and pleased for the room size as it was SPACIOUS! We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were great and the hotel pays old attention for details. The room was equipped with little cute things for my son which made us very pleased.

So far, amazing. We had a difficult trip getting into Vienna and the staff went above and beyond to erase all our travel frustrations. Our room is gorgeous and you can't beat the view from the window seat. Really looking forward to eating in the restaurant.

Nice location. View of Albertina from the bed. A nice bakery that was busy all day. Room came with wine and beer and that was a nice touch. Room is simple but great for a couple. Best is it is across the street from Albertina and we got to see Renoir, Picasso, Chagall, Monet. Life is good

Fabulous modern boutique hotel across from the Albertina Museum. We had a small room facing an ivy-covered wall. Very well designed. The sofa and coffee table in the room compensate for the lack of a lobby for lounging downstairs. Nice bathroom with a large shower and separate water closet. Comfortable bed but had only duvets which can get hot for us Americans. We asked for duvet covers without duvets which worked as sheets and kept us cool at night. The coffee machine was great, just push the button and it grinds the beans, brews the coffee and pours into your cup. Fridge restocked throughout the day with milk, juice, beer, wine and bottled water (all included in the room rate). NOTE: The champagne and snacks with blue tags cost extra). Housekeeping checked in periodically to see if anything was needed. Water for tea must be requested from room service but is brought immediately.|The breakfast in the Brasserie downstairs is worth every euro. Reserve your table the night before. This place is very popular with locals so you definitely know you're in Vienna.|The location is perfect. Right across from the Albertina Museum, you can see the Opera in one direction and the St. Stephen's Cathedral in the other. Minutes from many of the sights. We walked to most places but the U-bahn and team were right around the corner.|Go to Vienna and stay at the Guesthouse Hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our 35th wedding anniversary trip. The hotel is just fantastic!! We had a double deluxe room with a view of the Albertina. The location was central and an easy walk to many attractions. There is even the sausage stand that Luciano Pavarotti used to visit that is within a 2 minute walk. Public transportation is within a 3-5 minute walk. ||The staff were just the friendliest and most helpful people at all times of the day and night. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here.||Our stay included the Albertina breakfast, which was very big! The complimentary bottles of wine were delicious and very much appreciated.||If we go to Vienna again, I would absolutely want to stay here! It was just the best!

This is a really amazing hotel - one of the best we’ve stayed in. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help. The check-in was easy and we had a lovely and luxurious room with many amenities. The hotel throws in many extras that are rare these days - twice daily turn down service, and daily replenished (free) wine and soft drinks in your fridge. The location is fantastic and is within walking distance to most tourist attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed over a weekend. We checked in late about 8pm. It was smooth and quick. Very happy with the room. There’s a sofa area with tv and a large comfy bed. Immaculately clean. We had the basic leading room. It was better than expected and liked the touches such as underfloor heating in the toilet and sink/shower area. The products are lovely - shower gel, conditioner and body lotion. The coffee bean machine made a great coffee. Included is wine both red and white plus plenty of water, Coca Cola and juice. Due to the dreadful weather and gale force wind and rain, we happily chilled in the room and had a late room service after the opera. It was served fresh and quickly. We also had dinner in the restaurant. All positive and liked how you could take the wine from your room so we didn’t need to spend on drinks. French onion soup and steaks both great. I was impressed with their branded china, glass water bottles, teacups etc. it really added a nice touch. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

We had breakfast here after getting tipped off by Trip Advisor. It was nice. Very nice, comfortable ambiance. It had free wifi as well. And the place was quite busy. The servers seemed a bit overwhelmed as the place probably could have used a few more waitstaff. The food was quite tasty. I got the eggs amelie and sacher sausage. They were beautifully presented and pretty good! An enjoyable meal overall.

Very nice hotel, stylish and with great location. Small rooms, breakfast a la carte. Located at the back of the opera house, it is hard to imagine more central location, tourist wise of course. The rooms are in the 70s style with every detail, from lamp to armchair. Of course this comes at a price of 200+ Euro a night or more. But it was quite a unique experience.

We had dinner at the Brasserie at the Guesthouse this past sunday, sad to say, the meal fell short of expectations in every regard. Starting off with the pumpkin soup (w/o the smoked trout crostini), the flavor was overpowering on paprika to the point that one could hardly tell that the base was pumpkin. The consistency was also too thin and unlike any pumpkin soup I've had before. For main course we ordered the pumpkin ravioli (pumpkin crazy) and the veal stew. Firstly the veal stew - not only did the taste not quite live up to expectations in any regard, there was also barely any meat to be found in the soup. My dining companion reminisced on middle school cafeteria food in scotland when having the stew.. The pumpkin ravioli was watery and overcooked, with blanched apple bits scattered all around the dish. None of the ingredients worked together creating a salty/sweet mess. The saving grace was the St. Laurant red wine, which tasted quite nice and was priced well. For a EUR100+ meal this was unacceptable as a whole. For a hotel restaurant the ambience is quite nice, unfortunately the food is near in-edible.

This place was great! The concierge were polite and extremely informative. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom in our room was large. I was shocked but they provided 4 bottles of wine in our room complimentary. Good local wine I think. There was also an espresso machine in the room. My husband and I are breakfast one morning in the cafe. The prices were average. I think is paid 8,50 for eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Also A+ for location. Mid way between st Stephens cathedral and the museum district. Easy walking to the nearest Ubahn too.

i went to the guesthouse for brunch with my friends. i like that place a lot, better than typical breakfast in vienna. it wasn't crowded which was nice too and the waitress were all very nice. i definately recommend that place.
