Nestled along the picturesque Marina Bay, this sleek hotel boasts refined rooms with stunning views, an inviting rooftop pool, and top-notch dining options, making it a chic escape for both leisure and business travelers.
"How did it strike you on arrival? The vast lobby, with its high ceilings and dramatic arches, frames this haunt of the glamorous. The air is perfumed with the delicate yet distinct scent of gardenias and lilies. This is a place to see and be seen. Thank god I wore my good shoes. What’s the crowd like?Couples, business executives and the fashion set. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.My Bay View Room looked onto Marina Bay, with Marina Bay Sands and its nightly light show as a backdrop. At close to 500-square-feet it was spacious enough to have its own balcony and - my favorite part - a separate area with a daybed on which to lounge and enjoy the view. The decor: Opulent velvet and brocade furnishings juxtaposed with polished hardwood floors for a luxurious yet modern vibe. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The pillows were a tad less plump than I would have liked, but I had no trouble passing out on the Simmons Beautyrest mattress. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that worth a mention? The Nespresso machine and TWG Tea selection were a nice touch. The mini-bar selection was decent too, with everything from Oreos and Torres truffle potato chips that can be washed down with Veuve Clicquot and more. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Love the airy, glass-walled bathroom with its bathtub and walk-in shower! Not least because of the lush Hermes Jardin Sur Le Nil products. There's also a TV so you don't miss your fave program while you're in the bath. But the best part is definitely the toilet bowl with a lid that opens automatically when you near it and includes automatic bidet functions. We all need some good Wi-Fi. What’s the word on that?Fast and free! Anything stand out about other services and features? Some rooms on the ground floor have private decks with infinity jacuzzis overlooking the Marina Bay waters - makes you feel like you're having a swim in the Bay itself. The award-winning Lantern is one of Singapore's most popular rooftop bars. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The stunning Andre Fu-designed interiors and view are enough to make you feel pretty good about yourself for picking this place. Bottom line: worth it?Prices here high, but if you're planning to spend some time lounging in your room, there's no better hotel to do it in. You can spend all afternoon staring out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the gentle ripple of the waters in the bay." - Audrey Phoon
"What was once Clifford Pier, a landing point for immigrants arriving in Singapore, is now a snazzy hotel welcoming well-heeled travelers." - Charlene Fang
"Part of the waterfront development that includes sister property Fullerton Hotel and dining hub One Fullerton, the Fullerton Bay Hotel opened in 2010 on the picturesque Marina Bay waterfront. Unlike its sister hotel, Fullerton Bay’s architecture skews heavily modernist, typified by the glass facade, a cylindrical lobby chandelier more than 15 feet in diameter, and finishes in gray, burnt orange, and eggplant. Contemporary Asian art, commissioned by the hotel, appears throughout the public areas. Vintage maps around the building give a hint of the area’s nautical importance. The location places the hotel on the edge of the financial district, across the water from the tri-towered Marina Bay Sands and between the heritage buildings of Clifford Pier and Customs House (the entry point for many of the city’s early settlers). Accommodations are pleasingly roomy, starting at 540 square feet, each with a balcony. The rooftop pool offers broad views of the bay."

The award-winning Lantern is one of Singapore's most popular rooftop bars, but we wouldn't blame you if you just spent all afternoon staring out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the bay.
