We felt lucky to stumble upon this speakeasy vibes bar under the hotel. The cocktails were HIGHLY creative and the staff was the best. Recommend the Funky “adult YooHoo” rum cocktail served in a milk carton glass. Also really enjoyed the Make Me an Angel and the Salary Man. Would return again if we weren’t from Chicago.

Loved this place! Everyone was so friendly and the drinks were great! We also got the cheese board which was delicious. I got a mojito (pictured) and a Wheelhouse - both were great.

Stopped in here for a few drinks and LOVED it! The vibe, the cocktails, and especially the bartenders were all top notch! Hats off to Dez and Jules for an unforgettable evening! There was another fantastic bartender too (with some sweet pins), but I didn't catch their name, sorry friend!

As soon as I walked into this bar, the bartender (Xi?) asked if I could sit at either end of the bar since I was solo. It was a rude start considering the bar was empty and remained empty primarily until I left. I had an old fashioned at $24. I came here upon a recommendation from a Bartender at Andra Hem, but I will not repeat it. None of the cocktails or specialty cocktails stood out to me, especially. The service felt very cold and disengaged. It felt perfunctory. The music playlist during my short half-hour visit was mostly 90s rap.

This is what every speakeasy should be: hidden in plain sight, hard to find and once inside dim lighting with classy atmosphere. However, the drinks we had were not good. The Wednesday SIPS Coconut margarita (didn’t taste like coconut) and Raspberry Collins (sweet premade liquor mix) were pretty bad for anybody who appreciates a decent cocktail. The Salituya Sundays was also disappointing in taste. Not worth the $18. All in all go for the atmosphere and pics, but I would go safe and order a beer.

The cocktails are creative, well balanced, and executed to perfection. Space is well done, and the service is solid. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid cocktail bar in Philly.

Loved it here! The Doppelganger is fire - literally it's ON fire. The location is beautiful. They're creating a whiskey room and the big group room is gorgeous and perfect for parties. They have so much space to host and in general the place is amazing. I love a good speakeasy vibe and they've definitely captured that. I think my one criticism would be the snacks they have available - 14 dollars for a 1/4 cup of nuts was obscene. I'll definitely be back here as much as possible, loved the new location, loved the service. Once again Franklin Bar is a Philly staple.
