Good value for money. The bar is VIBES! The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable ♥️ the shower is great too. Uncomplicated service, easy check in and check out. Down to earth, modern, young. Had a great time and will come back.

What an unexpectedly great stay at this hotel - perfect location (we were there for Oktoberfest), great large funky rooms, huge shower, super friendly staff. Check-in and communication with them pre-arrival was simple and clear - not your standard hotel in the sense that they don't have a dedicated check-in desk, but check-in and staff available from morning until late at night. Great cocktail bar with experienced bartenders. Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Munich.

Let me start by saying, I am grateful I was only staying here for two nights. Aside from the kindness of the bartenders (who were responsible for handing over the key for checkin) I really cannot recommend this hotel. The room lacked basic amenities, the furniture and appliances seemed to be falling apart or just never put together well in the first place. Even the quality of the bedding made me feel like I was at airport hotel room that airlines pay for when they cancel your flight. The Wifi did not work and was not fixed during my stay. Aside from the bar and location, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great location everything very walkable! Room was clean and bed comfy although definitely on the small side for a penthouse room. Lack of personnel (phoned at 6pm for parking help and no answer, then again at check out couldn’t find anyone) also slow responses from the whatsapp chat. (View from the open terrace walkway)

Only the drinks were okay, but overpriced. Very small crowded place with staff full with attitude. Stay away from it

This is least hotel experience you can get while still being a hotel but you’ll have an absolutely amazing time! The entrance is totally unassuming and the entrance hall plays loud music, is dark and deserted - the action happens on the third floor (rooms) and the bar on the fourth floor which doubles as reception. Everyone was lovely and having a simple breakfast in the cool bar each morning was great, with the option of sitting out on the balcony overlooking beautifully green Munich. The rooms are all different - I got to see three including the one we stayed in, which had five-metre concrete ceilings. One room has a hammock and a bed up a ladder. 😂 The corridor with the rooms is pretty much totally black most of the time. Only Germany could make this sort of stuff so cool. It’s also worth saying, as someone who sleeps badly on the wrong sort of bed, that the bed, mattress and pillows are super comfortable and I slept really well for the whole time I was there. The hotel is close enough to the old city, the Aldstadt, as well as the river, to be able to get anywhere. A tram is moments away, as is the U-Bahn, which is thirty seconds away. The pizza shop downstairs, within the hotel building is also great. The bar upstairs is well known as a place to visit though even directly below it, we didn’t hear any noise in the evenings at all. I really recommend staying here - it was *such fun*, everyone was cool and it was totally the opposite to a Hilton or a Marriott where you’d get a sterile experience. This put a smile on my face every single day - thank you, everyone.

The reviews here all looked very nice, but sadly this was not the experience we had. On arrival we were greeted by a very nice man who welcomed us in, we were offered a bigger room which we gratefully accepted. He explained the bar was closed at 4pm due to staff issues, but would reopened the next day. We didn’t anticipate any issues until we used the room. Later that evening we found there was no soap or shower gel in the bottles, the towel rail was falling off and the bedside lights didn’t work. When coming to close the curtains we realised it didn’t fit the window and the shutter did not work. We had been given a what’s app number but it felt too late to text. The next morning we explained the situation and this was understood and maintenance would look at this. Later that day we were told the shutter did not work (it wasn’t actually there) and one curtain had disappeared but they didn’t know where it had gone - there was no solution just another night of bright lights! The one curtain was actually not all clipped on to the rail and maintenance just left it like this. Breakfast provided was croissants and a coffee and there was 2 coffee capsules and 2 bottles of water provided for our 2 day stay. The next day the bar closed again at 4pm, so we were unable to get a drink, food etc as advertised and again no one was on site. We were looking forward to using the roof terrace as described on your website and we sat outside for a while when we first arrived. The area was pleasant to sit in the sun, but the condition and cleanliness was poor. Having looked back at the management photos you could see the aspirations this has but it did not live up to the value, or expectation of the hotel - this was more like an air b and b room being run from a bar/nightclub. The place lacked care and needed some TLC.

Good drinks and bad service, they refused to open a birthday song for our friend because we gave "little tips". Unnacceptable behaviour in my standards and they should be ashamed of themselves.
