"A favorite amongst sports fans and tenured professors, The Faculty is a low-key bar with healthy-ish menu options and a rotating wine and beer list on the chalkboard (check with your classmates for updates)." - kat hong, james montgomery

"The Faculty, East Hollywood. There's a great little strip, hidden away behind LACC on Heliotrope and the Faculty is the token college bar, albeit a grown up sophisticated college bar, that has taken up residence there. Cozy, dark interior with a great selection of ever changing brews and menu items this spot is worth coming back to."

We were in here for lunch right at opening and it was great. Huge beer selection and the food is really quite amazing. The bartenders are quick to serve you and very friendly. The Mac and cheese is super good. Also the Cuban sandwich is excellent.

The best Deli style sandwiches in East Hollywood/LA. The bread is INCREDIBLE! Better than bay city because you just don't have to drive that far and also because it has an incredible curated wine and beer selection with a great intelligent crowd of patrons. Staff is knowledgeable and there specials menu is always a really incredible surprise that’s leaves you guessing whether to order what you know or take a chance on something new. The smoked brisket bahn Mi was one of those chances I took and wished it was a main stay... until next time. Also they had New Mexican posole that was extremely authentic and reminded me of home.

This place!! Lived up the street for a year and change and made it over here weekly if I could. Really good food. Awesome staff. Great beer selection. This neighborhood is the most underrated in LA in my opinion. LOVED living here. Come while the suns up, walk the little neighborhood here, and finish off at this place. You will be blown away I believe.

The taps are always interesting, the menu always offers clever and delicious dishes (and there's always at least one solid vegetarian option), the bartenders are the friendliest folks in town. It's never too loud and never uncomfortably crowded. It's a Very Good Bar.

Favorite bar and hang out spot in LA. The owner, Mike, is brilliant and you can tell he cares about the quality of brews/wine and food dishes he serves. His whole staff are awesome and incredibly knowledgeable (and an added bonus, they are all excellent conversationalist!) . Prices are reasonable considering the location and the portions/high end ingredients. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in east Hollywood.

This is my local neighborhood bar and I have to admit that I love everything about it. The drinks, the food, the space, and the people. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I know that they have a good selection, and they definitely carry some lovely wines. The food is good, not stupendous, but I definitely order something whenever I go in. If you're looking for a cozy neighborhood bar feel then I recommend this spot.

Too mom here for lunch last week. Her salad wasn't was described on the menu so they took this off of the check. So. Service was great. Parking is limited. If you arrive early it is good. Small, limited tables and limited menu but food is good. Quality ingredients. I appreciate this. We will return.
