The Dead Fish in Crockett is a great spot for a casual seafood meal with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The interior feels warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing dinner. Awesome views over the Crockett Bridge from the patio.
Their seafood selection is impressive, and the Dungeness crab is a standout—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.
The service is fun and friendly, adding a personal touch that makes the experience even better. To top it off, the prices for alcohol are outstanding - hard to beat for the quality and variety they offer. Oh, and by the way, there is no corkage fee!
While everything was enjoyable, there’s a little room for improvement in some areas, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit.
I’ll definitely be back!

It was a truly memorable experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a casual yet sophisticated vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
The food was exceptional, especially the seafood! The Sea Bass was perfectly cooked, with a rich, flavorful taste that left me craving more. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.

Would give 5 stars for service however they need to add bar backs and an additional bartender. The one who has served me the last 2 times I've been here is Great and she works hard and efficiently but the volume of patrons each time is so great (completely full restaurant) that it would help to have an additional bartender! Seems obvious. They probably can't find help due to their location. ???

Overlooking the Carquinez Bridge is The Dead Fish. Dead Fish offers a diverse and mouthwatering menu that beautifully blends seafood specialties with Italian-American favorites. Their dishes, such as the signature Crab Feast, are flavorful and generously portioned, making it perfect for sharing. The quality of the ingredients shines through, and the variety ensures there’s something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for freshly prepared seafood, hearty pasta, or a juicy slice of prime rib, the menu is both satisfying and innovative. The warm, inviting ambiance adds to the overall dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone in the Crockett area.

This place doesn't disappoint, but I will say today we wasn't a fan of the garlic bread or the crab sandwich, garlic bread was hard and dry and the crab sandwich was just a big buttery Bun with a little amount of crab meat..... was not worth the price coming from a seafood restaurant.
For the first time, we sat out on the patio, super nice and an awesome view of the water and bridge..... they even have heat lamps. I'll continue to patronize, but will be super selective in what I order.....

We were 6 people in total. Got sat down towards the gorgeous view of the bridge. The food portion was good. Our server was very attentive with a great sense of humor. I loved the interior decorations inside the restaurant. Its a great place to dine in! I would definitely visit again! Would be great place to take your family or friends and even a date.
P.S Make a reservation ahead of time will suggest evening!

**update** stopped by again for Prime Rib. It was better this time. Consistent from edge to edge. Quite tender only at the cap. Their medium rare is more on the medium side. Last time was actually more medium well. Great service as always.
The sign outside says "Crab House and Prime Rib". The Prime Rib was just ok. Ordered a rare cut and received half medium half medium well. The higher end pricing should reflect a consistent medium-rare from center to edge Prime Rib. Hopefully next time it'll be better. The Crab Crostini and Garlic Noodles was delicious.

The food was absolutely horrible and there was a worm in my fish in fish and chips! Everything was bland, nothing but grease and breadcrumbs. Calamari was gross. Tiny bits soaked in grease and tasted like nothing. Chicken sandwich was so bad that any fast food chain chicken sandwich will taste like a Michelin stars laureate. When I asked the waiter what is this in my fish he said he didn't know. You can Google it for yourself. Never again are we going back to this place. Decor and views are the only thing that I want to remember.
