A truly wonderful "start" to the day with a beautifully cooked, presented, and tasted Sunday roast beef rib dinner !!!! From start to finish, impeccable, warm, friendly, welcoming, fun, service - first time in a while I haven't had to ask for water. Lots of choice for seating, indoors, 2 x outdoors - front and rear. Extremely clean, with very nice decor. Tips: Free parking evenings after 7pm and weekends nearby in Patience Road and surrounding area. Comedian performances here sell out fast, and Havana cigars are available. Plenty of deals available during lunch and weekdays too. Looking forward to returning - excellent stuff !!!!

If you’re after a great Sunday roast in Battersea, you’ve got to come here. They serve up seriously tasty barbecued meats like beef, chicken, and pork, adding a smoky twist to the classic roast. They come loaded with all the good stuff—crispy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, a big fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy. They also whip up excellent cocktails if you fancy something a bit different with your meal. Plus, the manager, Callum, is fantastic—super friendly and always makes you feel right at home. With great food, drinks, and atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a chilled Sunday.

My friend booked via first table deal for 50% off the food and I must say it was a big disappointment. Atmosphere: at 1pm there were only us and another table. The pub was freezing cold. Service: the bartender/ waiter was friendly and helpful. Food: oh boy. Where do I start. The starter- cauliflowers- were re-fried (it was from the day before) and soaked in some extremely salty sauce. I had to return it. Also, it was served in the cheapest plastic bread basket. I know pubs want to be trendy but that was just tacky. The main- chicken Caesar salad was appalling. The chicken was made the day before , warmed up and cut (zoom in you’ll see it) and both the lettuce and chicken were left out in the fridge on open to absorb the fridge smell so it was inedible. Battersea High St branch: My friend had the pitta bread with hummus but if you notice on the pic.. that ain’t a pitta bread. My food was removed from the bill but what about the £6 reservation we paid via first table? This pub has no place serving food. And I don’t say this lightly.

Booked on First Table, but the food is worth the full price. Service was amazing and staff were very friendly. We got the baby back ribs starter which was like a main sized portion of ribs without any sides. The prawns starter was also delicious and good portion size. The ribeye steak experience was fun as you cook it yourself and comes with butter, peppercorn sauce (which was delicious) and a seasoning! Also ordered the rib combo as I am indecisive, the beef rib was by far the tastiest thing on the plate, the pork belly and pork ribs were also decent too. The only fault we could find was the restaurant was a bit cold. We also have no problem with dogs/ places being dog friendly but considering the bar/restaurant focusses on BBQ meat, having a dog barking in the restaurant is a bit unsettling

The best place!! Such a nice vibe honestly feels like home. Love it here the candlemaker have the tastiest food and drinks. If you want to enjoy your day definitely come down on the weekend where they host Comedy nights. The staff are amazing. The owner really hires the sweetest souls they are the reason we come a lot. If you don’t know what to order then I definitely recommend to ask the staff as they will know how to please you. Again thanks to Donicesia, Lorna, Callum, and Harvey!!! Shay <3

I preferred the baby back ribs over the brisket and pork belly. The ribs were nice and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. Also had the beans, Mac and cheese, and Smoker Trash loaded fries as sides. Beans were good! Brisket was crispier on the loaded fries than the brisket dish itself, so it depends on what you like! I'll be coming back :)

Visited here with family members a week ago. The cocktails were great, and my uncle was very impressed with the bartender's knowledge in guiding him to help choose the right whiskey. I had the baby back ribs and they were delicious. Will definitely come back and would certainly recommend!

Let's start with the food: 5 words: Smoker Trash Loaded Fries....... Perfection Service is with a warm smile and immediately familiar Atmosphere: the comedy that goes on here, even if you're not in the audience with warm your heart with chuckles. Free on a Sunday and ticketed fairly on the Saturday considering the quality comics they have then. Will go again.
