I'm taking part in their Tuesday ABC (adult beginner course) in Judo. Registering was very easy and the Budokwai admin office staff responded to any questions quickly and were helpful. The actual course is really good for adult novices: there are a variety of other students of all ages and the instructor is patient and is a great teacher. I thoroughly recommend this school from what I have seen so far.

Great judo club with an outstanding level.Classes every day for different levels. Also, BJJ and other martial art. AWESOME atmosphere and very talented teachers. You will feel warmly welcomed. There are "visitor judo classes" for 10 pounds, allowing you to just show up there and train. Simply 10/10

The Bud is the best judo club in London and the oldest. It has helped my kids to be good judo player. My son grow up in the Budokwai. Thanks to all the good coaches in there who have helped him over the years. Paul , Larry , David and others.

Extremely high level Judo & BJJ with great people, I couldn’t recommend training here more.The Budokwai also has a weights room and sauna which goes down a treat post training.

The instructors came across very rude when I asked them some crucial questions pertaining religious beliefs. So, I had a negative experience and wouldn’t recommend them because upright behaviour is most important and they exhibited unnecessary arrogance. I definitely would not like this kind of behaviour to my children to learn from or experience..

Good Karate classes but they care too much about money. The visitor will pay more for a Karate class than for any other class in this dojo. The annual membership is also higher for Karate than for other disciplines staying at 80£ and then 7.50£ per visit. If you come from another Karate they will expect you to start as a white belt and DO AND PAY for ALL the exams, which is insane in my opinion.
