It is not a typical fancy place - but it gives you some cosiness. It is very small and there is only 1 waitress and one man who cooks the food - but they are very nice and give you some feeling of being „at home“. A great gesture of giving the water for free. Fair prices. I had „sunny side up“ and I liked it very much.

Google
Good food, The place is small but the important thing is they've great service and are flexible with it comes to the foods that they offer 👌 you can go there without reservation because they accept walk-ins. Highly recommended😊 and lastly they only accept cash 😊

Google
CASH ONLY. Was on business trip and there’s no warning in front, at greet, a sign… nothing!!! that states cash only. I had zero euros and banks are closed. My debit card doesn’t work at atms (tried all 3). Had to go around asking random people for euros in exchange for PayPal/venmo. Most expensive breakfast for me ever. Food was alright… they didn’t fill my water once although people around me. Was definitely polite and tipped anyways.

Went to grab breakfast on Sunday. Weather was great so sat outside and ordered the BFC ham sandwich and cannot complain. Great value, great staff. Highly recommend!

Google
Fantastic! Finally found a decent place in Vienna for breakfast/brunch. It's really really difficult here with good food, but this place is absolutely awesome. Large choice of dishes and they are all very filling. Awesome tea too. Space is quite small, but we didn't have to wait too long for a free table. Hummus and french toast are amazing! Definitely coming back!

Google
The food was quiete good, but we were wainting 50 minutes for breakfast for 3 people. The waiters didn’t warn us and after avoid our questions how long we will wait.. it’s not fair - it totally ruin our day plans because we spend there almost 2 hours…

Luke

Google
The food is good when you can actually get served, shown up here well within opening hours several times to be told that they are only doing coffee. At one point this was like 1pm on a Saturday, it's just annoying. Service also isn't exactly prompt and timely, it all just feels like a bit of a mess. Waiting staff are nice though!

Google
It's a very small joint, I think that it's run by a father and a son. Father plays records on a gramophone, son is dorky and charming. It's very homey, pleasant and relaxed. Food is great, cheap and I would definitely come back when I visit Vienna again. Oh yes, and the flat white is good also 👍

Yelp
I am so glad my bf found this place! Breakfast is a huge thing in America and we haven't had a real breakfast since we've been here. An omelet just sounded like comforts of home and this place delivers. I honestly forgot what kind of omelets we ordered, but it was filling and delicious. Our omelets came with some bread which definitely filled us up. The service was very nice and when we were here the placed got crowded, which is always a good sign. If you're questioning a place to go to definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
Came for a brunch early in the morning. Seated right away for the two of us. Pros: - fast service - cute decor - very laid back atmosphere Notes - food and coffee is good, decent all around - we didn't try any of the specialty items- just run of the mill eggs and bacon - there are books in the cafe available for perusing

Marisela R.

Yelp
We arrived and the place was full we opted to wait outside until they had a opening. We were greeted with water and ask if we wanted coffee while we waited. This place has such a cool vibe! Enjoy listening to Jazz from a old record player. Owner was super friendly and took the time to write down a few places to visit, eat, and listen to music knowing that this was our first visit to Austria. I ordered the eggs over easy with veggies (yum!) and my husband ordered the French toast which was great. Definitely planning on having breakfast there again.

Smruthi S.

Yelp
The breakfast club had great breakfast/brunch food in a really cute space. The inside had a cute ambience and I loved the art on the walls. We ordered a Bonnie and Clyde (mountain cheese toast, fried egg, bacon, pesto) and a French toast with cinnamon, fruit and Nutella. The toast was really good and flavorful. The French toast was great as well, but I wish they would have served the Nutella on the actual toast instead of in a little packet as a self-serve option. We also ordered a croissant on the side which tasted fresh, warm and flaky. Our total came out to €20 for two of us which was very affordable. One thing to note is that they only accept cash. The place is a little small so we had to wait a bit for seating but the service was pretty good. Overall? Had a great experience and definitely would come again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Very small, homey feeling. AMAZING food. Cheap prices. Lovely breakfast overall. Recommend 10/10

Yelp
Finally found a decent breakfast/brunch place in Vienna! Super happy about it. The food is delicious and very filling. A lot of choices, and delicious french toast! Although space is quite small, and usually full, we only had to wait for 10minutes for the table. Must try!

Yelp
You know something... I was planning to give 4 stars due to the portion size, but the extremely high quality of food and service helped bump this place back up to the coveted fifth star. Location is very bright, sunny and small, about the size of a slightly-less-than-conservative dining room. The kitchen they use is smaller than the one I had in my college dorm room... Don't let this deter you at all. Food and drink came out relatively quick, as was the turnaround for customers. Typically, when someone was walking, someone was finishing up. They also play music from vinyl records, which I think is a really nice touch. Ovaltine hot chocolate, had about the same amount, by volume, of milk foam as it did hot chocolate. Great if you love milk foam found on cappuccinos (which I do). It seems to me this is what distinguishes it from a regular hot chocolate. It was, as another Yelper wrote: "warm and chocolaty." It was also a tad sweeter than most hot chocolates I have had in Vienna so far. French toast with bacon and fruit was excellent. The dish was extremely well balanced in terms of bacon to toast to fruit to syrup. French toast ranks in the best I have ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly where the outside had a teeny tiny bit of crispness, and the inside was warm, and cooked to just past the point of gooeyness. Therefore, the toast was an experience to savor with every chew. Bacon was great (isn't it always :D). It is thin, not overcooked, and the fact that it was crisp but not crispy like a bacon flavored potato chip worked extremely well with the dish. It was also piled on top of the french toast, acting like a part of the dish rather than a side dish. Maple syrup was less vicious than most, but this is usually true of real maple syrups. It was also not overly sweet, and did wonders for the toast and bacon. I tried the experience of the toast and bacon together adding its mapley "two cents" without overwhelming the dish The fruit was varied and good. Actually sweeter than the syrup. I would have liked just a touch more though. While I did thoroughly enjoy my meal, I left and while I was no longer hungry, I did not feel my rather voracious appetite satisfied, especially since I woke up late enough that I had effectively skipped breakfast. So, thinking about what I would write, I thought I would deduct a star for the portion size. H However, I thought some more and realized that I do, in fact, have a voracious appetite, and that quality over quantity matters. If there was a large portion size, then the experience of the awesome french toast would be trumped by the desire to eat everything on my plate (which happened once or twice elsewhere and did, in fact, take away from the experience). Service was wicked nice!

Yelp
The Breakfast club is a strange little place. The interior is simple, relaxed, retro and also very random in a cool way. It's a mix between somebodys apartment, a little bit of Africa, a little bit of New York and located in the middle of Vienna. They play music on vinyl record player. As we visited they put on Elvis and some old country music .. The chef looks really cool. Wearing a big hat and sunglasses. This might not happen every day - I wouldn't know. The place is extremely popular, so you need to be prepared to wait on the bench outside. Inside there are perhaps 5 small tables. The menu is quite big. I had an omelette with a breadbasket. Tasted good. Also the coffee was great. All the other dishes, which they served other guests, looked great as well.

Mars E.

Yelp
CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT super cute, small spot. friendly service. the food was pretty good. my cappuccino and my porridge were really good.

Elena R.

Yelp
Good place for breakfast but I won't go out of my way to return here. I got my bread basket pretty quickly with extra jam, as requested, water followed immediately after. My Sunny Side Up plate arrived within a very reasonable amount of time, too. My BF's plate took longer, good thing we had bread, but once he got it, he didn't mind, he was very pleased with the quality of preparation and ingredients. What I didn't like is that we were never asked, if we'd like another coffee and I had to ask for water refill plus waitress dipped strings of her apron into my glass and didn't replace it. Two plates, two coffees totaled €30.80. Cash only,

Chantelle T.

Yelp
Came in for an early morning coffee run. Staff were friendly and helpful and this was the best latte I've had in Vienna so far (though if you've read my previous reviews, I've had a pretty poor coffee experience so far). So I'm not over the moon but it was of a higher standard than anywhere else so far. There was a small space for the kitchen where breakfast was being prepared and for 8am the tables were full with people enjoying a morning in the sun with fresh bread and coffee. Well worth giving a try.

Adam T.

Yelp
I walked into The Breakfast Club for brunch at around 11:00am and had to wait 15 minutes for a table. It's a very small and cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere, chill music, and kind staff. I ordered the Monk's Omelette, which is a 3 egg omelette with onions, peppers, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, paprika, and chili. It also came with a bread and butter basket for 9 euros. The omelette was very well made in terms of placement of ingredients and was fresh and enjoyable to eat. Definitely one of the tastiest/more creative omelettes I've had. I enjoyed this place quite a bit and would definitely recommend it.

Leandra D.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast and the cutest little space. They offered English menus. I ordered the Vienna Special. Which was so delicious. Soft boiled eggs, fruit and assortment of breads/jams. Love the ambience and the tea was great. Con: They do not take Credit Cards. Cash only. They do not take reservations.

Lyric H.

Yelp
Great breakfast! Literally best pancakes & French toast my husband and I have ever had. Small shop, so wait time was about 20 minutes, but it's well worth it.

Natalie H.

Yelp
This place is helmed by a couple of hipsters who cook while listening to music from a gramophone, and the patrons seem to be university students or hip adults... You get the picture. We came here on a weekday morning and had to wait on the little stools for about 40 minutes. Their menu is clearly marked Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, etc for those who have finicky palates/allergies/preferences. We got egg-based dishes and they came reasonable quickly - it's hard to go wrong with omelettes. The bread was a bit cold and hard, and I assume they don't bake their own rye. I also got yogurt with fruit, and it came with fruit that aren't my favorites - apples, but reasonably yummy. My favorite bit was the bacon. The bacon isn't your usual bacon, but the smoked type, shaved so very thinly till almost transparent. Oh what a delight. I would come back just for the bacon. Bacon, bacon, bacon. Don't leave here without it.

Aehaab A.

Yelp
I have been planning to come here for a long time and finally i managed to. they have a variety of dishes and combinations they actually trigger the "i want it all effect". We, my brother and I, ordered the styria breakfast and RA breakfast. The dishes were good and fresh, but for my personal taste they lacked in seasoning. You cannot season omelettes after they are served. i also was able to tell that dishes of same order don't always look the same. my brother had RA breakfast and looked different than what you can see in the reviews. On the other hand, if you stay open minded you will be able to see the passion behind this place and the warm personality of the waiters and the chef. a treat: porridge was very good. so all in all 3 stars (i would go again but it wouldn't be my first choice)

Thorben B.

Yelp
One of the most hip places we found in Vienna. You sit at cosy, bistro style chairs in a small but very high room and listen to vinyl music. The food is simply tasty. Creative choices and pleasant suprises are mixed with superb quality. Will come again when in Vienna!

Egor S.

Yelp
Nice place for breakfast. Many combinations of eggs and side dishes. Classic English breakfast here. And very tasty coffee. Interesting that you can make your own breakfast from dishes list

Jamie M.

Yelp
We walked right passed this place initially- it's a tiny place you could miss if you're not paying attention. But then you would be missing out indeed. The service was great, food was delicious and a good price. We would definitely recommend it and plan on going back! A great breakfast place in Vienna.

Helen W.

Yelp
As a solo traveler in Europe, I tried to avoid overly crowded areas because people have a tendency to stare at you (or maybe I'm just self conscious). But I was craving a good breakfast/brunch, and I stumbled across The Breakfast Club on Yelp. It ended up being the perfect spot for my needs. The restaurant exudes such a laid back, casual environment, giving off slight hipster vibes. But more importantly, I didn't feel out of place eating by myself, which was really important to me as a solo traveler. Added to this was the fact that the two girls working there were super friendly. One thing to note is that the space is really small, and that includes their actual kitchen operations. It was pretty empty when I was there, so I got seated right away. However the food took a pretty long time to make (seemed like they were pretty much making one thing at a time). If it got really crowded, I could see the wait times adding up significantly. So probably try coming earlier or later to avoid crowds. The menu is available in English, and it is filled with pretty classic brunch foods. I can't say it was the best food I've ever had, but it was homey, filling, and just what I needed to start my day. Best part of all is how affordable it is (around $5-$10 USD)! A lot of the meals even come with a drink included. Definitely check out The Breakfast Club if you want solid breakfast/brunch foods but don't want to spend too much. But if you're in a bit of a crunch for time, I might recommend skipping this place.

Anne Marie N.

Yelp
Great breakfast place with a variety of menu choices ranging from egg scrambles and omelettes to waffles and French toast. Most dishes come with a bread basket. Excellent coffee sourced from a neighborhood roaster. Wait staff was super nice and overall this place just seemed to do everything well Our family of four came here twice on a 4-day visit, which says it all!!

Mark S.

Yelp
This place was on point. It was a bit of a walk away, but that just made me more determined to find it! The place had a vintage feel, and was pretty clean. The two ladies who ran it were lovely, and both made me feel welcome by speaking English! There is also an English menu provided too. The food was out of this world. I had a hot chocolate and the french toast with bacon. It was served with a little fruit salad too. It tasted amazing, and came to just about €10. Overall, one of Vienna's best breakfast spots, for sure!

Angela S.

Yelp
A bit hard to find at first, but an absolute joy to eat breakfast at in the end. The mini waffles with Nutella were excellent, along with the hot chocolate and warm oatmeal. A Wien must.

Nicole M.

Yelp
This place is super cute, and the service was lovely. We waited maybe 10 minutes for a table because it's on the smaller side, but it was totally worth it. The food is reasonably priced and tastes delicious. I got the French toast, which for its price was a fair size and filled me up. Also, free water, which I have yet to otherwise find in Prague or Vienna.

Hollie L.

Yelp
This quaint breakfast spot stole our hearts. The location is easy, and it feels like a locals spot. Our food was so great! We got the French toast which was soooo good, and the Bonnie And Clyde which was even better! Our servers were so kind and wonderful! We met the owner who chatted with us for a bit and he is so wonderful and kind. This made Austria feel like home. Would come back for sure.

Dhwani S.

Yelp
A cozy little hidden gem! Service was great and the food was amazing...the food is prepared in an open kitchen with fresh ingredients right in front of your eyes.

Brittany N.

Yelp
My favorite brunch place in Vienna! They have great food and cheap prices. Many of the dishes come with a drink so it works out to be a good deal. The fish I always ordered came with elderflower water, something I wouldn't typically drink but I ended up liking it a lot. It's a very small place so I recommend going at off hours. Once went around 3 and was seated right away. Great little place!

Steven M.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe with some good food. My wife and I were traveling from the United States, and we just wanted a simple place with some food along the lines of French toast. The food is priced reasonably, and the French toast with bacon is amazing. They put some fresh fruit and whip cream with it, and fry the bacon right into it. We found this place last year when we came out, and definitely had it on our lineup for this year. The servers are very friendly and speak great English if you need them to. They also have menus available in English as well.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Cheap and delicious! English menus. The cold hand Luke omelette was so good we got a second one, haha.

Emily S.

Yelp
Absolutely great experience! I got the Vienna special and it was exactly what I needed-you get croissant and bread with fruit and a soft boiled egg. I also ordered their waffles and it was definitely different from waffles I'm used to in the states but they are still delicious-the insides aren't fluffy but more dense. It kind of reminded me of mochi a bit. Everything tastes really good and the staff is so nice as well. Ask for an English menu!

Katelyn E.

Yelp
This is such an adorable place tucked away in a random street in Vienna! Props to other yelpers who shared this place... that's how we stumbled upon it! This is a super tiny place... it maybe fits 10 people, at the very most. The kitchen is the size of a small countertop, but somehow it works! I ordered a granola yogurt parfait type of breakfast with fresh fruit and a side of toast. The yogurt was so delicious that my friend and I debated on going back the next morning instead of trying something new. It was quiet and quaint, and they made fantastic coffee. The wait staff were all really friendly and spoke English. They also accepted credit cards, which was helpful.

Barbara H.

Yelp
This place was a local place not many tourist that was good not great. Service was good mediocre at best.

Macy H.

Yelp
A local's spot for sure! Great breakfast options. A small restaurant with friendly staff. You can watch your food being prepared from anywhere in the restaurant. The menu was in English, and I had the sunny side up plate and a classic Viennese coffee. Both were delicious. Located close to one of Vienna's biggest markets, this breakfast stop makes for a perfect Saturday morning doing what the locals do!

Anna H.

Yelp
The BEST breakfast I've had. So so delicious and not expensive. We'd go back if we had another day!

Nick S.

Yelp
It's tight inside - so there may be a wait - but they've got super exciting breakfast choices! An omelette with pumpkin seeds, pumpkin oil and fresh veggies on dark pumpernickel bread, plus a side of grape juice? WHY NOT

Ruth H.

Yelp
Food is great but the bread wasn't fresh and wasn't good. Orange juice isn't squeezed on the spot. They don't accept credit cards.

Nicole J.

Yelp
Take my advise don't ever eat in this place, the food is not that good and the prices are everything but cheap. We went with my boyfriend and I ask for an scrambled eggs with ham, 40 minutes later the hadn't even prepare it, then when I asked for the check to pay the only thing that arrive that was an artificial orange juice, they gave me an actitud because I was leaving and not staying longer for a simple order. There are so many good places, save your money, don't go to this horrible place.

Sober O.

Yelp
Why do you only accept cash? Please come into the 21st century and accept credit card - you can either pass this cost onto the customer or absorb it yourself. The alternative is having customers walk away and you lose the business altogether. Very frustrating.

Abby C.

Yelp
The Breakfast Club is one of those places I have been dying to check off my list of places to eat in Vienna. We got there early Saturday morning and sat right down. The menu was in english which made it easy to choose, but we got the food and it was okay, and they also forgot to give us the juice that came with the meal! What I really liked about The Breakfast Club was the quirky staff and the lively atmosphere. It is a cute and unique little place near Naschmarkt, but I wouldn't make it my "go-to" breakfast place anytime soon!

Ling Yu H.

Yelp
Very small but cozy place to have an easy breakfast at weekend morning. Many choices of breakfast set and nice services. Close to weekend street market, a good spot to spend time on weekend.

Brad M.

Yelp
Although not exclusive, The Breakfast Club is still a really great place to go for a bite to eat after a night out with friends. Although the place itself is pretty small, relatively quick turnover should get you in quickly. These people know exactly what hungover patrons are looking for, portions are generous, and each menu item comes included with a drink (tea, coffee, juices). A place where the 'with-it' crowd seems to congregate. A perfect start to a saturday at Naschmarkt only a few blocks away.

Rory R.

Yelp
Really great place for breakfast or brunch. Portions are big, hot chocolate is warm and chocolatey, staff is friendly, local is small and friendly! There is no rush to eat up and move out and you get the feeling that you could spend a couple of hours having something to eat and drink. (As we did today.) There is the feeling of being in one of your friends kitchen just hanging out. So comfortable and relaxed. Although smallish, if you find yourself a seat you are set for the whole morning. Most meals come with a drink included, be it orange juice or coffee. The interior is sparsely decorated save for a gigantic picture of an african bush scene, a Bob Dylan poster (if it didn't deserve 5 stars before, it does now!) and a few children's drawings. At first I thought it may be from the owners children but then I noticed a small children's table with crayons and pencils and while we were there the young ones were encouraged to draw something and the drawings were duly placed on the wall. Great touch, I think! The food was hearty and fulling. I had the Cape Town special which is a great reminder of breakfasts at home. Two pieces of bread with warm baked beans and a couple of fried eggs on top. And bacon on the side! Just like being back at my grandmothers.... All in all a very nice relaxed breakfast joint.

Eva H.

Yelp
I was really stoked to go here after reading the reviews online, but I'm not going to lie, it was a little bit of a letdown. I got an omelet filled with cheese and veggies with toast, and I found the portions pretty small and the food to be relatively bland. There wasn't very much cheese in the omelet; I feel like I could've made something more interesting at home. I like the atmosphere though- the decor was hip and there were a lot of families with adorable children playing.

Esther L.

Yelp
First, they have an English menu, which is a plus. The servers there are polite as well. The food was amazing! I had the porridge (oatmeal-like) dish, which was topped with fruit and some cinnamon. The nice thing is that they have non-dairy options (water & soy milk) to cook the porridge with. I also had the French toast and it was perfect. You choose your own sweetener (which is listed on the menu, such as syrup, honey, Nutella, etc.). It wasn't too greasy or too sweet. The portions are perfect for a reasonable price. You seat yourself anywhere or you can ask for a menu and sit anywhere you'd like.

Marc B.

Yelp
We arrived and were seated by the host, after what we were sitting there for 20 min, and nobody even came to give us a menu. To have a lot of seats is a responsibility. (Edit) So it's been now 45 min, that we are here and we still didn't get anything to eat.

Ali M.

Yelp
I am fortunate to have found this cozy coffee/breakfast joint in Vienna. The staff are unbelievably friendly and attentive. They make you feel like a regular. I personally enjoyed this place so much I ended up coming here 3 out of the 4 days I was here for breakfast. The food is simple and tasteful. If I could I would give his place more stars. Next time you find yourself in Vienna give this place a go! Oh and it didn't hurt that they had Sinatra playing in the background :)

Dexter A.

Yelp
We stumbled across The Breakfast Club and we mostly entered because of its name. The place is not too huge, but it is nicely decorated. The servers were friendly, they spoke English rather well. The menu is extensive, there are various dishes to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the food was actually pretty good. I like our stay at The Breakfast Club, will return.

Alexis W.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The ambiance is lovely cause it's small and cozy. The servings sizes are just perfect.

Jane T.

Yelp
We waiting 7 days for this place to open after the holiday, and the wait was worth it!! The owner welcomed us in from the street and sat us down right away. The service was lovely. The coffee was tasty and they have soy option! The music was very good the whole time, lots of US classics. The breakfast was so tasty, my bacon was high quality and our French toast was perfectly sweet. Go here!!!
