This is my second visit to this restaurant, and they truly deserve the Bib Gourmand award! 😊
This time, I opted for takeout. The order taker was incredibly polite, patient, and easy to talk to. I ordered the Spicy Seafood Soup, and it was absolutely delicious—definitely not a disappointment! It contained real crab (not imitation crab meat), shrimp, mussels, little octopus, mushrooms, and many other ingredients.
I also ordered the beef grilled bulgogi, and I loved the generous portion size! The side dish was not just an afterthought; it was so delicious that I found myself wanting more. Plus, the lettuce was served clean, which is a nice touch! 👍
The rice ball looked so tempting that I couldn't resist taking a bite before snapping a picture! 😅
More power to The Apron, and may it continue to thrive! I can't wait to order more next time to try other items on the menu.

I want to try everything on the menu but we settled for the black garlic kimchi stew, duck salad and the sausage loves rice cake skewers. The duck was so tender and flavorful!

The Apron is a quaint little korean restaurant that emits a homely atmosphere.
This would be my 3rd or 4th time eating here!
They have a variety of shareable food items that are all very delicious!
I always come back for their Beef Bibimbap on a Stone Bowl~ The crispy rice that gets cooked while on the hot bowl is very appetizing.
Bring your family and friends to this place because the food is good, the general decor and atmosphere is minimal and homely, plus you get to hear kpop too (I'm a casual kpop fan ahaha)
It is close by to some train stations downtown (either Downtown West kerby or 8th St. Station) so it is very convenient to get to if you're looking for a place to eat in downtown Calgary.

I had an amazing experience at The Apron. Great Korean food and service. Our waitress was super nice and checked in on us. We were able to easily make a reservation for 6. My new go to spot for Korean food!

This place has a great charm to it, but above all else the food is great. We had the Spicy Creamy Tteokbokki and Perilla Noodle dishes. Absolutely fantastic. You need to try this place.

First time here. Friend told me that the owner here is the same one from Don Day. I’ve missed that place since they closed down last year.
Wish I found out sooner. Food is authentic Korean. Service was just a tad bit slow but they were swamped busy. The menu isn’t very big, very similar to Don Day, but enough selection for most.
Will come back and try other dishes for sure.

This place is so cozy and welcoming, the staff are so sweet and always checked up on us. I had a nice young lady who was incredibly patient with us - i had family friends with me that just couldn’t wait to munch and i appreciate how well taken care of we were. shout out to the girl who served us, she was so polite and i couldn’t have asked for more during my time here at the Apron. will come visit again when im in downtown !

The best Korean restaurant in Calgary!!! Must order their Boneless chicken with soy dressing, which was amazing! The sauce was full of the flavor of soy sauce and a little bit sweet which made the sauce more layers of taste. It was served with fresh vegetables that let the dish not greasy. The most important, the chicken was so crunchy, even if it came with the sauce.
Tofu stew was not too special but still good.
Very recommended this restaurant for those who love Korean food!

Yelp
Gyujun wings are to die for. The light and double fried crispy wings were so good.
It had a sweet suttle soy garlic sauce.
This was the only thing i tried and i would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Came in a group and tried many items! Literally everything including the drinks were delicious. Only downside was the price which we all found to be a little high, as our bill came out to $75 a person. We also only got 2 small portions of sides which was basically enough for 2 people, even though we had 10 people.
The pig feet was a favourite with everyone, I liked the spicy one more but some of our group found it too spicy.
The pancake was large, super crispy, and had lots of veggies. Comes with dipping sauce.
The famous chicken wings was also great, although the portion was small.
French fries came with a unique and addictive seasoning as well.
