Great place to visit while in Pittsburgh. Many Warhol original drawings and painting and so much information. They also showed several different movie clips that were quite interesting. The cost was $25 per person so we felt it was a reasonable price. There are 7 floors of art to view. It was worth seeing and glad we decided to stop.

We stopped by this museum as part of a day trip into Pittsburgh. I enjoyed it very much. We learned about Warhol’s family and life, from growing up on Pittsburgh to starting a career in NYC. I didn’t realize that he had been a filmmaker, as well. His portraits of celebrities were really cool to see. Very unique art! I’d stop by again, for sure!

I really liked the museum. A very cool concept of the exhibition division by floors and, accordingly, by the chronology of the development of Andy Warhol's work. I especially recommend visiting it to all fans of the history of art and pop art as a trend.

The Andy Warhol was a great, brightly colored and interesting experience! The museum has seven floors and includes a children's, cafe, and one of the coolest gift shops. There were live videos, theaters, touch and even a fun gravity or pillow room. I was impressed by the variety of his many works and learned a lot. They also had many KAWS work there which paired nicely with Andy Warhol 's work. It is definitely worth a visit and clean and modern restroom and friendly staff to assist with any questions.

I was visiting the various museums in Pittsburgh and was interested to see what the Andy Warhol museum has to offer. Personally the museum was a bit underwhelming to be— though it had many pieces of interest and seems to be expanding past just Warhol with the KAWS collaboration— most of the pieces seem to be archival in nature with specific intent. I would say this museum would really be suited towards someone highly interested in Warhol work or if youre really bored and in the area!! Other than the museum 7-ish floors are pretty simple experiences.

I brought my child here in July 2023 (she loved a Warhol exhibit they had in Toronto a year before). There were so many good things to see and my child absolutely loved it. It was nice that the ROAM reciprocity was also accepted here

Andy Warhol, a pivotal figure in the Pop Art movement. I went to his museum because I am a fan. He revolutionized the art world with his provocative approach to consumerism and celebrity culture. Warhol’s art is often celebrated for its innovative use of silkscreen printing. This allowed him to produce works that mimic the processes of mass media and advertising. This technique also reflects his commentary on the loss of individuality in a consumer-driven society. The Factory, was a hub of creativity and collaboration, where he worked with various artists, musicians, and celebrities, blurring the lines between art and entertainment.

The fact that it is a bona fide, 7 floor dedicated museum was a pleasant surprise. The building presented a coherent narrative which enabled a skeptic like me to appreciate his genuine skill as an artistic technician, a human being, trend setter, generational influencer. Give yourself at least 4 hours. And don't cop out! Get a screen test!

I'm old enough that I remember the very late work of Andy Warhol, and I definitely remember the 1980s furor surrounding him. I delved into the life of Edie Sedgwick, the Studio 54 days, and Interview magazine. After visiting the museum, I know so much more. The museum is 7 levels; you are encouraged to start at the top and move down chronologically, floor by floor. Andy's life and art unfold as you descend. And what a life it was. Be sure to visit the cafe and gift shop before you leave. Both are worth the additional time and have reasonably priced options (unlike most museums).

I have been a fan of Andy Warhol's art and when I found out there's an Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, I planned a trip here right away. I was pretty amazed with the museum. The history and the art itself are inspiring. Would love to to back!

We visited the Andy Warhol Museum this past weekend specifically for the KAWS exhibition, and I loved every second of it. The museum had such a cool, modern vibe, and the KAWS pieces fit right in. It was so exciting to see his work up close, but what really stood out was how it all tied into the rest of the museum. If you're into art or just looking for something different to do, this place is 100% worth the visit.

I absolutely loved this museum. A must see if you are visiting the Pittsburgh area. The museum offers paid parking in a lot across the street from the museum. Only 8 dollars for the day, which we felt was reasonable. Admission is $25 dollars for adults. You are advised to start on the 7th floor and make your way down; as each floor chronologically represents a period in Andy Warhol's life. They do have elevator access if you do not wish to climb the stairs. As for the museum contents, you will see stunning artwork throughout. It's not just paintings and sculptures, but also video displays, interactive displays, such as doing your own screen test and the pillow room. I can see this being fun and interesting for all ages. The special exhibit during our visit was Kaws X Andy Warhol. The gift shop is great too. The options available range from very low to expensive, presenting price points for every budget. We loved the variety of items available and purchased a few things. Water fountains and restrooms were available on multiple floors. The museum also features a cafe but we did not visit it.

He's that frail looking guy with pale skin and shocking white hair. Maybe we also know something about his Campbell's Soup Can paintings and his association with Lou Reed and the Velvet Underground. But beyond that, what do you REALLY know about one of the giants of 20th Century American art and pop culture? You'll learn everything you'll ever want to learn about the man at the sensational Andy Warhol Museum. As you explore the six-story museum, you'll follow his life, through his 1928 birth in Pittsburgh as Ondrej Warhola, his move to NYC and a meteoric rise as a magazine illustrator and ad man (just like Don Draper), branching into silk screen and printmaking, and his rising fame that accelerated with his 1960's soup can and Marilyn Monroe paintings. Did you know he barely survived an assassination attempt when a crazed fan gunned him down and put him in a hospital for two months? You don't need to be a fan of Warhol to appreciate the magnificence of the museum's size. How about 900 paintings; approximately 100 sculptures; nearly 2,000 works on paper; more than 1,000 published and unique prints; 4,000 photographs; 60 feature films; 200 Screen Tests; and more than 4,000 videos. PRO TIPS The museum rotates museum space to display the work of guest artists. Our visit featured the work of Brian Donnelly, professionally known as KAWS. I guarantee you've seen his work dozens of times. Both Warhol and KAWS presented "dark themes". KAWS's Dystopian art shows things like Lisa Simpson or Sponge Bob with blank faces and "X's" for eyes, making them resemble eerily zombified voodoo dolls. Some of the material I've read calls KAWS a worthy successor to Warhol. Before you leave the museum, make sure you head down to the basement and check out The Factory- an awesome interactive place where you can create your own Warhol based art. Under the guidance of an artist employee, we made two very nice, screened ink posters which we'll frame and hang somewhere.

I haven't been here since I was probably 13. And I'm not sure I fully understood or appreciated his work at that age. My husband had never been before so we decided to check it out. We actually were able to get free tickets through the RAD pass program with the Carnegie Library. We started on the 7th floor and worked our way down. We both loved how they told his life story and showed his work in chronological order throughout the museum. It made it fun to follow along through the various decades. We also loved the current exhibit with Kaws + Warhol. They both have so many similarities in their work. And as a personal fan of the monster cereal line, I loved the Kaws display. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who hasn't been before or most certainly a great idea for out of towners.

What a treat this was! I knew about Andy Warhal and his pop art. Who doesn't know his famous Campbell's tomato soup can? But I had no idea about all his great portraits, film making, photography, and commercial artworks. The museum had so many interesting pieces and fascinating history about the man. It's laid out on 7 floors with his earlier years starting at the top. We were there for a little over 2 hours and saw most everything. There were a couple items we missed like the making of your own screen test and only saw part of the movie that runs continuously on the 1st level. There's a nice, reasonably priced gift shop & small cafe. The parking lot is across the street. Look for the big Brillo booth. Regular adult admission is $25 with a great senior discount of only $13. So next you're in Pittsburgh you should check out this place. 2024-51

It's all things Andy Warhol. His photos, his drawings, his advertisements, his art, his films, his clutter, his detritus, his objet d'art, his ephemera, you get the idea. All for a $25 admission price. Not a bad way to spend more than 15 minutes of your time.

This place is sort of weird. It seems disjointed -- it's a museum about a single artist. There is a narrative, but some exhibits don't connect the art or type of art to the rest of the exhibits or Warhol's life and art. There are also walls of boxes filled with "stuff" Warhol had saved throughout his life. Things people are going through bit by bit, finding and cataloging scraps which are deemed historically valuable. It gives me an uncomfortable hoarder feeling. It's a cool museum, and I've visited it a couple of times. But, it's still strange

This was quite a nice experience. I recommend that if you ever are visiting Pittsburgh, this is a must see. There is a designated parking lot for the museum, diagonally across the street and very reasonably priced. However, get there early in the day because it fills up fast.

Cute and fun! Smaller space with multiple floors that can be completed within the hour. They could probably add more stuff in the future but there's plenty to see. Andy's couch near the cafe seems well utilized. The silver clouds are more interesting in pictures. His sketches are so cool!

The first time I went to this museum years ago, I wasn't impressed. All i remember is a drab room and a collection of cameras. But despite the fact that we live in Ohio, we became Carnegie Museum members. Being my mother's daughter, I had to get my money's worth out of my membership. The Science Center was too long of a walk with rain coming. The Warhol Museum has tons of busses passing by and was only .6 mi from where we were staying. So we came here because of predicted rain. Boy, am I glad I came here. It is not at all what I remembered. I was fascinated by 6 floors of Andy. I loved reading all the background. Everything was laid out so well. It was eye candy as each area drew me in. You must come here. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, EVERY BIT, and I'm not an art person.

--Location/Parking-- I want to say on the center island of Pittsburgh, north of downtown and close to the football stadium. You can reach it by walking across the Andy Warhol bridge --Ambience-- Minimal and clean with multiple stories. Some imagery I would not recommend for younger audiences --Service/Staff-- The staff was very helpful and friendly. The café is on the 1st floor, and I didn't feel rushed or rude to us. I even was recommended the documentary and where to start on the tour. On the 2nd or 3rd floor is a print workshop which the staff invited me to attend, but I had limited time to catch my flight. I will be back to try doing some sample print work. --Capacity-- I didn't see a limit, but I went on a weekend and there were plenty of tickets. --Overall-- I recommend if you love museums, and the documentary is only 30 minutes going over Andy Warhol life. The store and café is on the 1st floor and I recommend taking the time to browse through the museum store.

I enjoy Andy Warhols work. I'd say I'm decently big fan of it but this place left a lot to be desired. Most of the famous prices such as the larger soup can, Marilynn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy prices are not here. This place is more so full of some of his less known works with a few notables sprinkled in. Its layout is pretty confusing especially considering the museum is meant to go in historical order. Also only about 4 of 7 floors are filled with all Warhol art. There's a lot of strange pieces that are focused on like the still videos, a giant video of a guys butt and a very large painting that was peed on. There was also way too much art by this Kaws guy. I understand it was his exhibition but this is Andy Warhols museum. I don't understand why two floors where given to someone else. One floor was also pretty much just closed off being the archives. Just a few random peices of office decor. The factory sounded really cool but it was really small. Overall, I was a little disappointed with this museum but it's still cool to visit.

As a massive (and curious) fan of Andy Warhol, I was really excited at the opportunity to enter a space that was a complete immersion into his works; and have the opportunity to get closer to his artwork. The museum did not disappoint at all - as it really gave a comprehensive overview of his life, legacy, collections and influences. Each floor represents a different decade of the artists life, and details his journey from Pittsburgh to New York City. The Gallery Technicians were all super knowledgeable and answered the questions that I had. The gallery has a variety of the Andy Warhols works from a variety of mediums... From paintings, to sculptures, stuffed animals, video installations and more!!! All well worth a visit

An engrossing and compelling museum. More than just a display of well-known works, it really tells a complete biographical story of the artist's life. Everything is well-done and thoughtful, even if you're coming into the experience cold. Also enjoyed the documentary film that plays in a theater on the first floor - I'd recommend starting there and then going up to the top floor before working your way down. It is a tad pricey at $25, but I would call this one a must-do.

Visited this museum as a way to spend a freezing, snowy Friday night in Pittsburgh, and it was great! They were actually open late and admission was half off on Friday nights. I didn't know much about Andy Warhol's personal life before this, but there was so much information about his family and life. It was really cool to see art and film footage from different points in his career. The staff was also super nice and welcoming!

Amazing collection of Warhol's works. Love the layout (each floor represents a decade of his work). It's a pretty expensive admission fee but if you're a fan, don't pass it by. They have a little coffee bar (cafe?) and a pretty decent gift shop but the highlights include a few pieces which are not really famous. It's was great to see most of his stuff in one place they documentary is a can't miss!!

He did so much more than just soup cans. I learned so much about his art and how he came to be. Don't forget to check out their gift shop and cafe too! Sorry, pics never seem to be in the right order but enjoy (especially the silver clouds video).

This is one of the coolest art museums I've been to! I've never been to an entire art museum dedicated to one artist, so I believe that's part of it... you get to experience slices of Andy Warhol's life and learn so much about all the different phases. I never knew he started his career as a hired fashion illustrator, and seeing all that earlier work was my favorite part. I took a few photos of the pieces that were my favorites that I might never see again! If you like art at all, you don't need to be a Warhol fan to appreciate this museum. Go!

(1) Preamble to the review: are you visiting this museum as a local, or tourist (YaY! Welcome to an awesome city), and how many Carnegie museums do you plan on visiting over a year or during your visit? The reason why I ask, is a family membership is roughly $160 at the time of this review and includes a year membership to this museum, the Carnegie Science Center (bomb, visit, especially with kids!), Carnegie Museum of Art (pretty cool), and Carnegie Museum of Natural History (awesome). Attending this museum with 2 adults and 2 kids will set you back somewhere between $50-$75 depending on kids age for one visit. Toss in another museum or two, and even for tourists, the annual pass might be worth it. Math it out, that's my advice. (2) The Review: I like this museum a lot, and it's growing on me. The reason why I say that is I have an annual Carnegie pass, and work right next door. I will often go there to visit a certain piece that I thought was interesting, maybe watch a documentary, generally, just to relax and buy a coffee on the way out. Lately I have been enjoying the Velvet Underground exhibit as a place to unwind for a few minutes. Sometimes I get stuck staring at and reading letters in the archive room. Regardless, I don't know art very well, but, the staff is awesome, it's really a fun museum, and I do highly recommend it. And, to boot, the stuff in there is worth a ton. Enjoy. Conclusion: if you are visiting Pittsburgh, you have to go. It's near the stadiums and there is a beautiful walk next to the river should you chose. Just, math out your museum options. Locals: awesome coffee and a real nice place to unwind with an annual pass. Regardless, the coffee shop in there is open to ALL and they have food. NO pass needed.

A museum experience that you can spend anywhere from an hour to an entire day at, depending on how much you love the history of Andy Warhol. When I visited in 05/2023, the second floor was closed for a new exhibit. There was still plenty to explore, with the seven floors being arranged from top to bottom in chronological order. One floor had a recording museum with hours of content you could listen to. There are paintings, sketches, and all forms of media represented at the museum. One floor solely contains collection pieces like sculptures and pottery. Highly recommend piggybacking off a tour or trying to find a group to go with one, if possible, as I recommend for many museums to elevate the experience. Students can get a free ticket, which is awesome. I reserved a timed ticket online for entry.

I'm not a huge fan of Andy Warhol, but as an artist and retired art teacher, I do think the museum is worth the visit and I saw a lot of his work that I was surprisingly intrigued by as well as his early history as the child of immigrant parents in Pittsburgh. I especially loved the inclusion of his friendship with Basquiat, a favorite artist of mine. I was a bit put off by a few, though by no means all of the staff, some of whom were somewhat snooty in a laughable manner. I've been visiting art museums all over the world for years and have never had the experience of a rather uncouth guard walking in front of me while I was viewing artwork! That is simply NEVER done and showed an utter lack of understanding or respect for the art viewing experience. Another guard snapped my head off after I asked a simple, respectful question.

The life of Andy Warhol and everything art chronological to his life is displayed here! This is an incredible museum that I will revisit whenever in Pittsburgh. Amazing history and art, that while the story is sad, the colors are inspiring and vibrant. Its hard not to feel good in this museum. Some interactive exhibits, such as the balloons and the video print. Worth a visit, and I would take 1.5 - 2 hours to go through for the full experience. In all, an outstanding experience and museum to visit. There's lots of great familiar pieces here and many less known-popular exhibits that you get to learn about. No complaints from my end. The only disappoint you will Find at this museum is that his more famous works like Marilyn Monroe, the Campbell Soup installments and his self portraits are not found here. Other than this, this museum is a true one of a kind and definitely worth a visit.

One of my favorite museums of all time. There's seven floors to enjoy and every few months they swap out some of the art making for a wonderful new experience. When Aretha Franklin passed they put her up on the walls which I think is not only a beautiful tribute but really shows the reach Andy had with his artwork. He interacted with so many interesting people in his lifetime. The special exhibit this time was unreal. Seeing all the Velvet Underground albums on display was so cool. The gift shop is also great and there's always something new to look at.

Wonderful experience at the Andy Warhol museum. Each floor describes a different phase of his life. The artwork collection is amazing. Paintings, sketches, videos, clothing, music. Hours of a self-guided tour. He was truly ahead of his time. The museum is in a beautiful building. It is easier to taxi or use a ride share there. Definitely visit if you are in Pittsburgh.

I would rate this museum six stars if I could. It's comprehensive and covers decades of work. The museum has seven floors. August offered free admission. The museum had $8 parking. I could feel his presence in the museum and his work traveled across many genres. Each floor covers a decade of work. The museum offered everything from his doodles, to his stuffed dog, and even his involvement with The Velvet Underground. There is a small cafe and there is a gift shop. I wish the gift shop had offered more of his work instead of other artists. I could not find much for Jackie Kennedy and only a small amount of Marilyn Monroe merchandise. If I lived in Pittsburgh-I would be a member. Loved it!!!!

This museum really surpassed my expectations. It has the perfect balance of information and visual appeal. There are seven floors and they go in chronological order through the years of Warhol's life and work. There is such a diversity of artistic mediums on display. Although Warhol started as a commercial illustrator, he produced paintings, sketches, portraiture, magazine editorials, and multi media (tv/short films). One of the most interesting things to me was his large social network and influence on other artists of his generation. He collaborated with many famous people and there are some great photographs and anecdotes about those relationships.

Just avoid this museum like, literally, the plague. Their employee (or contractor?) was sick as a dog and coughing every five seconds, all over the place. It wasn't just a regular cough. It was a loud, hacking, hoarse cough that could be heard reverberating all the way at the other end of the museum, and it was nonstop. If the museum insisted on paid sick leave for their employees AND their contractors, she would have stayed home. This museum is a germ petri dish. There were plenty of older museum visitors in their sixties and seventies here. Someone is going to end up dying for coming here. Consumer culture pop art is overrated anyways. It's not worth dying for.

Well curated collection of work from possibly the most famous Pittsburgh native, though slightly pricey ($25). Many of his most famous pieces aren't here, but this museum has material from all throughout his life. The collection from his youth and earlier years is probably the most unusual Warhol you can see here.

This is an amazing look into the life and art of genius. The museum is huge and each floor explores more of his life and experiences, where often were wild and amazing. Walking through with my family was equal parts history lessons, sensory experiences and fascination. My young children stayed interested throughout the museum. Will be back to explore even more.

Very cool museum for Warhol and pop art enthusiasts. I think this museum is better suited to older children and adults because it's really a gallery more than an interactive museum. I found the collection to be a nice mix of famous and lesser-known works, along with some interesting momentos from Warhol's personal archives. We went on a Friday evening (after 5 pm) when tickets were 50%.

This museum was pretty cool, not sure it was $20 cool, but overall I enjoyed it. You start on floor 7 and work your way down 6 floors of Warhol. His earliest works and history are on the top floor. His childhood drawings cracked me up, but the evolution of his work was pretty stunning. Warhol was prolific. There is a mass amount of his work to see on each floor. I took a ton of pics and really only felt a fraction of his work was worth capturing. The 4th floor was my favorite, those pieces spoke to me the most. I also like the 2nd (or was it the 3rd?) floor with all his Inter/View magazine covers. I'd say it's a good way to kill a few hours over the weekend.

it is the largest collection of work by Andy Warhol (the largest single-artist museum in the country) the city's most famous artist and American pop-art pioneer. it is near PNC Park. Opened in 1994, the museum is housed in a restored warehouse and displays many of Warhol's drawings, paintings, prints, and multimedia installations, as well as presents several of his films and video clips through 4 floors. Housed in a refurbished warehouse. The Warhol is one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Snap a Pic on the Red Couch: iconic pose - recreated by Jay-z and Big Bird. Fee: $20/adult. We used our BOA card (museums are fee on a Bank of America card, the first weekend every month), but do reserve a timed ticket online in advance of your visit. Parking: it's near to the museum building. we reached 10 AM and it was $8 but when we were leaving by 12, they changed the sign to $15 (i took a picture).

We are so fortunate to have so many great museums in Pittsburgh. The Warhol is no exception. They also have so many cool exhibits and sessions in addition to the regular collection. Everyone loves to see Andy's Classic works (e.g. the soup cans, pop art pics, photographs, etc.). They're all iconic pics for a reason. People also love the silver balloon room (my personal fave). However, if you live here, you should come back multiple times and dig a little deeper. If you start on floor 7, you can learn about his life from the beginning, who he was growing up, who his family was and how he became the artist we all know and love. Then you can watch Andy grow across the decades. I also loved seeing how his looks and style changed. Today, my friend and I went to a special event they had with hip hop pioneer, close friend and collaborator, Fab 5 Freddy. Paradise, another hip hop pioneer, was also in the audience. He shared his stories from being in NY at the time, first watching from the outside in and then being there on the inside. He advised Andy and suggested cutting edge ideas for Interview Magazine. It was also cool to get the perspective of Richard Bernstein's Nephew (Richard created all the beautiful Interview Covers). He had the inside scoop of who his uncle was, what inspired him and what made him tick. It was so well done. We even got a pic with Fab 5 afterwards. The Interview Exhibit was really well done. It was cool to see all the beautiful covers that Richard created. It was also cool to see all the famous people who were in interview and how Richard captured them on the cover. Go check out the Warhol, especially now while the Interview Exhibition is on.

Perhaps I'm just not a big Warhol fan? I visited during the free month which I recommend because otherwise it's $25... the MET in NYC is $30 and you could spend an entire day there and see Warhol's most famous works. I was in and out in about 1 1/2 and felt like I saw everything. I'm sure die hard Warhol fans will disagree, that's cool... but otherwise it's overpriced and doesn't merit the time.

This museum is different from your normal museum but that's all the reason to check it out. There are 7 floors (I think) and you start from the top and work your way down. Each floor is a different time period in Warhol's life. They also showcase other artist's work on a rotating basis. You can also take advantage of their First Friday deal in which tickets are half off and the museum is open until 10 pm on the first Friday of each month. In addition to the museum, they have a gift shop and a cafe.

If you're interested in art or pop culture, and have some time/$, would recommend checking this museum out! I had a pretty good time overall and it took about 1 to 1.5~ to fully look at all the exhibits. Would highly recommend checking out the Factory, where you can participate in making customizable prints (free for paper, diff prices for shirts, bags, etc). They have some blank Warhol-inspired prints for you to color in and other collage-type activities to do. The workshop activities definitely serve as a cute date idea, fun family time, and a great destressing activity for solo visitors. The tickets were a little on the pricey side for a smaller museum (and some floors actually feature other people's work). I also felt that the flow/management of attendees can be improved on. There were no clear signs so I managed to walk right into the exhibits without anyone checking my tickets. I later learned that a staff was to explain that you start from the top and work your way down. I also had a mini backpack and it wasn't until my 2nd or 3rd floor of exploring that a staff member told me backpacks were not allowed. Appreciate that they have lockers and a coat area, but wish someone gave me the run down earlier.

I've been to this museum 6 times in 8 years, but I've only lived in Pittsburgh for 3 years. Do the math, I love this museum. I traveled from Philadelphia to come to the museum. Every time I visit, I see something I missed. Or there's a new exhibit, new items in the store, and their special events are outta sight. I saw "downtown 81" august 2021, and they had a guest speaker. I could post photos but I have hundreds so I'll post the limited special exhibit with basquiat.

I had always wanted to come here because I'm a fan. I thought it was a great museum and the art was great. I learned a lot about Warhol while I was here. If I had one complaint I wish there would be soup can shirts in the gift shop.

I was very excited to visit the Warhol museum and overall I thought the structure of the museum was interesting (each floor was a different decade of his life). However, I was overall disappointed in the (what I felt was) limited content of the museum. I expected to see more of his work, particularly his most famous pieces (Campbell's soup, Marilyn Monroe, etc.). I feel like I've seen more of his work in other art museums than in this museum entirely dedicated to him. Surprised me to say the least... And expensive ($25 per adult) in my opinion.

A cool experience! Andy Warhol is a Pittsburgh icon. I was lucky enough to go to this museum in August when they were offering free admittance to visitors. 7 floors devoted to one person is a lot, and I think my brain wanted a little more novelty/diversity? That being said, the way they have the museum organized by decade, and the several attempts they made to have interactive portions, kept it as engaging as possible. My favorite part was, in the basement of the museum, you can screenprint a Warhol design for free on paper, or for really cheap on a bandana, shirt, or tote. I love affordable little interactive souvenirs like this! Was such a fun way to remember the experience. I love how much they devoted to the velvet underground. There is a good mixture of Warhol's life and his work, which was also interesting. There are mixed medias as well - video, ballons, paintings, taxidermy, etc. I had a great time for free :). If you are a Warhol fan or want to learn more about the 60s-80s or are just looking for a cool way to spend a few hours in AC, I would definitely recommend this!!

I wanted to say how much I enjoyed this museum and I was until one of the staff ruined that experience for us. When we went into the Silver Clouds exhibit we saw the sign that said we could touch so we went to the group of clouds on the ground to push them up to float and we were scolded like we were 13 years old. I'm sorry but that ruined the entire thing for me and I will not be returning nor will I advise anyone to visit this museum. You should train your staff better. Especially in an experience exhibit for doing what was intended in the first place.

I never get tired of visiting The Warhol. I always notice (and learn) something new. One of my recent visits was with friends who have never been there before, so it was especially fun to share their exploration. Even if you're pop art isn't your favorite, The Warhol offers a fun experience, with diversity of art media and works from artists in addition to Warhol's. They've really thought out the whole experience by having guests start at the top floor and work their way down to the ground floor (where you will find a gift shop with lots of fun items). Make sure to pose for a pic on the iconic couch on the main floor. Extra points if you match Warhol's pose.

The Museum takes through a timeline of Andy Warhols life. From the day he was born to death and beyond. Seeing his art prints and doodles from an early age to acclaimed artist and videographer was something. Take a deep dive into who Andy Warhol was, what inspired him from an early age, and how his art changed overtime. Pro Tip; be sure to start from the top floor and work your way down. My favorite floor had to be the 4th or 3rd, where the Elvis Print lives. It is a truly a remarkable piece of art. This Elvis piece is not only iconic but seeing the work behind it was amazing. They did such a great job of laying out where his thought process was and how the piece came to life. The museum is engaging as well. There is plenty to see and do on each floor. With an interactive ballon room/art installation. They provide plenty of seating options on each floor to stop, rest, and view some of his videography work. The location is close to all other great attraction in the Pittsburgh area. Worth the visit and the trip!
