Hole in the wall that leads to an explosion of colour and flavour. Great friendly service, adorable decor (even the menus are festive), and the flavors are unreal. I ate a lot of Indian food over the years but this is truly maybe the best I've had.

Pros: Excelente!!! Amazing authentic Goan food. Love the food, I will recommend for entré: samosa, for drink: Mango juice, for dessert: mango ice cream. Mango juice was so amazing, something I missed living in Alemania. Con: pay with cash!

This place was a little off the beaten path and hard to find. I had to ask directions a couple of times before I found it and let me tell you, it was well worth the effort. The interior is small, cozy and welcoming. Our server was great and very quick. The food was just perfect. With the right level of spicy and flavor. The prawn samosas were delicious, the chicken Xacuti so tasty and for dessert the Bibic and Mango ice cream helped offset the heat from dinner. If you want to taste great goan food, outside of Goa then this is the place to go.

As a Goan I went out looking for Goan cuisine nearby nearby our boarding and I happened to come across this restaurant named Tentagoes de Goa. I happened to take Pork Vindaloo and chicken xacutti. However I was taken by surprise as I opened the container at my apartment. The food was not even near to the authentic Goan style. Vindaloo was made of cumin and pepper masala and the xacutti simply made out of garam masala. The worst part was the quantity which was not not even the quarter of the container. Not enough for even one serving. It seemed like someone's leftover. The price didn't justify the quality and quantity. Worst experience of a life time. Hope there was negative rating that I could use to describe them. Anyways be careful if you come across this restaurant. Not recommended at all.

Bit hidden place in Lisbon’s tiny gullies. Recommended if you are looking for Goan (Indian) food. Recommended food crab curry and Chicken xacuti

We were without Indian food for 10+ days in Lisbon, so decided to give this restaurant a shot. They have all the typical north Indian style entrees and of course Goan inspired ones as well. The place is small so make reservations especially Friday + weekends or you will wait too long. Got samosas for appetizers and they were good. Entrees we got the chicken vindaloo and a shrimp dish - both were good and we went really fast. The fresh rotis were also well done. My wife like the food so much she ordered something for takeout. Good place for Indian food in Lisbon.

Quite simply the best meal I had in Lisbon. The fish curry was absolutely delicious and satisfying. The wine paired well. Service was efficient for how busy it was. Highly recommend you check this place out if you're new to Goa cuisine or have a craving.

So a little tough to find an definitely cozy. But good food the shrimp balchao and fried mirchi hit my spice needs. No frills, good service. The Fried Michi was excellent. The flavors of the shrimp were great, but were slightly over cooked but really good value for money.

Yelp
Yáll this place is legit and not to be missed for Indian-Portuguese aka Goan food. Lovely service, atmosphere and home-style cooking. My recommends: Apas (Goan bread / Roti) - €2.20 Caril de Peixe a Goesa (Goan Fish Curry) - €10.50 Ambo-Tic de Cacao (Hot & Sour Dogfish) - €10.00 Arroz Basmati (Basmati Rice) - €2.00 Wine- Planato Douro €7.50 for 375ml Everything we ate was just massively delish and just right level of heart Recommended! Yelp
It was crowded when we walked in...so I think that was a good a good sign. With a view of the square and the statue we dined shoulder to shoulder outside with strangers who assisted with the language barrier. The service was good. The food was good too. I had the paella and christian had the fish but then we had to switch bc the paella was based in Vermicelli not rice, which was not clear so I ended up having the fish and Christian had the paella which was just fine! The basket of bread was extra but piping hot and good and we had the wafer cake and it was a fantastic Surprise!!

Yelp
Our group of 3 ordered the Goan Fish Curry and the Chicken Xacuti with Chapatis and rice. Both the dishes were very authentic and had the right amount spices. The service was fast and friendly. Absolutely enjoyed the food and definitely recommending this place!

Yelp
What a lovely little Goan restaurant. Just a bit hard to find as it is on the backside of the alley but the kind owner came to pick us up from the main road. If u are looking for it, just climb up and first left up and right there on the left side. I had the veg stew with puri and my husband had the pork ribs with roti. Delish. And a bottle of Vino Verde. Nice hosts and fresh food.

Yelp
We were there two weeks ago. A friend had recommended. It is a little hard to find but don't give up. We had the fish curry and the vegetable biryani, which was the best I ever had - very fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
My husband and I arrived late to Lisbon and were delighted to find this family-owned Indian restaurant quite near our hotel. The food was wholly delicious from the fresh beef empanadas, spicy and piping hot, to the homemade desserts including traditional coconut cake and handmade mango ice cream. We both enjoyed prawns with masala and biryani respectively. Service was friendly and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable...a perfect place for a quiet meal after a long day of travel. Don't be afraid to make your way up this non-commercial alley to find this hidden Goan gem.

Yelp
I went to this place with great expectations but found it to be very average. The location is not great and the place is hard to find. But thats not the main thing. I was expecting great quality authentic tasting food but that too was not to be found. I do know authentic Goan food. The individual flavors and spices were there in the fish curry I ordered but the dish as a whole was just mediocre. The mango ice cream was one of the worst ones I have ever had. Cant complain about the service but again nothing amazing. The tables were a bit too close together and felt cramped. I would not go to this place again and I cant recommend it either.

Yelp
Very small restaurant on a side street. Easy to miss but worth it once you find it! I went with my boyfriend and we ordered the prawn samosa, prawn curry, and chicken biryani. We also got the mango lassi. Portions were good and everything was amazing. The prawn curry was out of this world! Definitely come here when you are in Lisbon. Best Indian food I've had in a long time.

Yelp

Yelp
Fantastic Indian food in the heart of Lisbon. Would highly recommend. Great variety on the menu. Staff spoke English.

Yelp
We arrived in the city from Barcelona for a quick holiday. We were itching for some spicy Indian food and this place hit the spot. Restaurant is small and causal. Staff is extremely friendly. The owner personally cooks the food. We have two year old twin boys who are noisy and they were extremely accommodating. We got the chicken xacuti, fish masala, shrimp masala and chicken biriyani. All the items were excellent and tasted like food you would get in goa. Only complaint was we wanted another order of the fish masala but they were out. Anyone looking spicy Indian food, this place is a must visit in Lisbon. Highly recommend.
