"This is not your regular neighborhood mani/pedi spot. These low-key spaces are outfitted with mid-century modern pieces (you won't find any oversized massage chairs) and the technicians are incredibly well-trained. They do kiddie manicures, at-home appointments, and best of all, it's open late. The original is in Tribeca."

Great service. Excellent polish options including Chanel and Louboutin. Expensive but worth the experience. It's a bit difficult to find though. You have to take the elevator to underground by the drybar. Online appointments available.

- I can get the better manicure quality for $15 at other places, cost me $25. - The staff is nice but my nails came out having small bubbles in them, a little bit disappointed. The color looks good but the surface doesn't have a glossy look :( -Also chipped out my thumbnails after 10 minutes drying - Underground therefore no wifi or service connection.

the only reason for going here is the fact that you can make an appointment online. The girls who work here are very nice but it is just such a waste of money. The no dryer thing is beyond asinine, you will almost certainly smudge your nail within an hour of getting them done - and by the way, the manicure won't even look good to begin with (lumps/bubbles all over). Do your nails yourself if you are passionate about nontoxic salons or go somewhere that does a better job and has a drying station.

Love this place!! Afforable and great basic manicure. Little bit hard to find but once you do it's lovely. Clean and we'll lit shop, friendly staff and they arnt too busy so it's not overwhelming and crowded. They don't rush you out. You can stay and drink some tea while your nails dry

New customers get 30 days of unlimited manicures!! Unreal deal! The cleanest, most relaxing nail salon I've ever found, and in such a convenient location in midtown. Tenoverten (like ten fingers over ten toes, ha!) is in the basement of the Parker Meridien Hotel, and it's basically a beauty mecca with the Dry Bar, Blushington, and Skin Laundry right next door! The ladies at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming. Ask them about their favorite polish and they are always eager to tell you the latest trends or the colors they love for the season! The nail technicians are so sweet and very skilled. My manicures are always flawless and my pedicures last forever. Helen, Kalsang, Yangdi, Gladys, and several others have amazing attention to detail. Ask for Sherry if you want to do nail art! It's a non-toxic salon, so they don't do gel, but the polish wall is packed with high end brands and hundreds of color options! I love that they are non-toxic because it doesn't smell like a chemical-filled nail salon! No dryers either, so no distracting noise in the background. They use quick drying drops which work just as well as the dryers! If you were set on gel--no worries--they do offer the Essie Longwear and it always lasts over a week and a half on me! If you're just visiting the city or you're a longtime resident nearby, you have to give tenoverten a try. It will become your go-to! It did for me....

Very beautiful facility. I googled the location from where I was on 52nd between eighth and ninth Avenues. I found 10/10 not realizing how far it was. I was about 15 minutes late due to the long distance and walking. In addition, the hostess there was not very friendly. I wanted a French gel pedicure which is typically what I like on my feet because it lasts for so long. I was advised y the host that being that I was late there is no time for French because of the aesthetician’s next appointment is in a few minutes. Not only that I couldn’t have French but there’s no gel here! I typically get because I do not like waiting all that time for a pedicure to dry, especially when I’m always in a rush. I should have walked out initially when she told me that they can’t do the French pedicure because I was late, but I felt bad wasting the time of the aesthetician. The aesthetician was phenomenal. She was very humble woman also a great conversationalist. I can tell that the staff were annoyed with the host because she was a rude person and publicly rude on top of it for no apparent reason. Ultimately talking down to the employees. Which is very upsetting for me and better look for the company. Unfortunately, I will not be returning nevertheless, the ambience is beautiful. A very nice set up there, but aren’t any windows because it’s in the basement of the hotel which was very hard for me to find as well.

Got in easily. Calm muted environment. Friendly staff. Got the regular pedicure with gel removal (they don't do gel). Good pedicure, minimal massage, no scrub. In basement with a bunch of other services: DryBar, eyelashes, skin, a gym.

This nail salon is below ground and difficult to find, but the service is second to none. I have the first month free promotion, and I have to say, I prefer the tenoverten SoHo location. That said, the environment is still exceptional.
