You must get tickets ideally 5-7 days in advance. Don’t wait till last minute. If Klook is sold out, try their official website. Kids enjoy the wide space and the colorful and attractive installations! Staff were extremely helpful and approachable. Helped us to find a good place to lock our double stroller up. Took the time to guide us and explained how everything worked before showing us the place to join the queue. We enjoyed our time there!

Magnificent digital art space. I spent over 3 hours there, and I highly recommend booking your ticket in advance. One of the most memorable experiences is the opportunity to draw with Crayola. For me, it was a return to childhood, as I hadn’t drawn in X years. 🤔 I felt immense joy seeing my drawing come to life on the walls, moving among other creations. 😅 Finally, the entrance ticket includes access to a Tea House where you can enjoy matcha tea and ice cream. When the bowls are placed on the table, light animations are triggered, creating a unique visual experience.

It is so worth the price, it was one of our best activities! There is a lot to see and several pieces are beautiful. Allow a good 2 hours to see everything. I advise you to explore well before leaving and to return to the rooms already visited several times, because the projections change. It is also difficult to find your way around the exhibition and you can easily miss a room. We almost left thinking we had seen everything and noticed a room that we had not visited. We would have missed half the exhibition if we had not noticed this room. They could certainly improve the markers or provide a map of the exhibition to visitors. My partner pointed out to me that several rooms have mirrors on the floors, which is inconvenient for women in dresses and skirts, I found this a relevant point to bring up.

I really thought it would just be projections on the wall but the other experiences pleasantly surprised me. The name Borderless really fit the rooms that we went to. It’s a lot of fun, especially for the kids but there are lots of people at any given time so you have to expect a crowd, especially in popular rooms. I would recommend that you buy the tickets online before you go so that you are guaranteed a spot. It’s really hard to explain what it was like because you have to be there in person to experience them. But I highly recommend that you check it out if you’re in Tokyo!

A must see exhibit. It is a one of a kind experience. You can spend hours in this place. The rooms incorporate lights, sounds, and smells. Some of the pieces also react to your touch. There is also a tea house in the exhibit that incorporates the light works. The tea and ice cream were both good.

A very interesting museum! Great digital animations and art exhibitions, which are presented in harmony with music and scent. Definitely book tickets in advance as they are usually sold out! However, I have to deduct 2 stars because we had problems booking tickets via the official website for several days. Payment by credit card never worked, and when it did work after several days, we were given the wrong date. We then went to the ticket office to explain the problem and the staff there referred us to online support. This makes me wonder why they are there. The whole thing cost us a lot of time and nerves... It was only because we had proof that we were able to pay our visit on the desired date.

A unique and mesmerizing experience. We are so glad we didn't miss this. We made the mistake to dedicate only 1 hour to this place. I could have spent more than 3 hours if I wanted to, since the art is not static in rooms and they keep changing. Even at the end of 1 hour, we were still discovering new rooms and art. You get lost easily and I think that's a part of it. For some parts like sketch drawing and light bulbs, you also have to line up. Also consider not wearing a skirt here, since some rooms have floor made of mirrors.

Great experience, would definitely recommend this to other travellers as a one time thing, well worth the price. They adhere to your booking and are very strict, we came an hour early thinking there would be queues but there weren’t any but they are precise on timing. You could easily spend an hour exploring the beautiful art light pieces.
