This place is way under rated. Steak burger was perfect! Fries are on point. Service is top notch. Everything is clean. Meat tastes fresh. First time here. Will definitely be back again.

Thank you SALEH for the amazing experience great service with a big smile and truly made sure we got the full experience of the food and the background of how far taystees has come! The food was fast and fresh the dining area was comfortable and not to mention the sink to wash our hands next to the ice cream machine everywhere should have a readily available sink like that.

Everything was amazing. I had the #2 & husband had #10. Along with the Midwest fries and Mac n cheese bites. Burgers are huge by the way.

The service is very nice We ordered Nashville chicken burger and cool ranch burger with a side of Cajun fries. Both were delicious. The serving size is big, and rates are very competitive. More reasonable than other halal burgers in Dearborn. They have expanded their menu and added bowls also.

Went all the way from Kalamazoo to try the famous Taystee's Burgers and it sure didn't disappoint. We had been to the Original gas station location just couple of days back but came back to visit the new restaurant. That itself speaks for itself how good thier burgers are. We went half an hour before closing but that wasn't an issue. Super delicious, fresh and hot food served. The Restaurant is big,clean, spacious and has great interiors. Shout out to the amazing staff. Big chains like McDonald's, Burger king etc should learn a thing or two from these guys about what customer service should look like. Got complimentary drinks, bacon on west coast fries and a plethora of sauces. The owner Ali Jawad himself came and checked on us. Great down to earth guy!. So first time here, probably the last too. Not that food was bad, but it was just average. The Mac and cheese bites were forgettable. The fries and the onion rings were good. The original burgers were ok, couldn’t find any grilled onions. The brioche buns were not truly brioche. I spent 39 dollars and had to walk back to the counter because they forgot the ranch fries.

It wasn’t my first time here and it was amazing as always. The burgers are really tasty, the meat is seasoned well and it’s really fresh. I almost tried all the burgers so far and I will go next to try the bowls. The staff are nice and friendly, the place has a good vibe and it’s clean. One more thing which is really important to me, they make the orders quickly, we only waited for 10 minutes.

It was pretty good, although expensive. We ordered online and it seems to be a DoorDash website. The menu board doesn’t have prices listed, but they do have a flyer at the register that has them listed.

I stopped in for my very 1st Taystee's Burger and found he staff at this location very helpful and focused on great customer service. The young man taking my order was patient as I tried to decide from the large variety of burgers which all sounded delicious, but I went with the Original to start off and it was very tasty. The bun was soft and I loved the mix of hot burger patty with the crisp crunch of shredded lettuce, pickle, and tomato all blended nicely with the sauce they put on. The fries were a huge portion, hand cut and I did their salt and pepper seasoning- light. A very satisfying meal in a bright, clean and colorful dining area. You get a good meal at a decent price, honestly can't remember because I was so hungry it didn't matter. But I definitely will be back to try other burgers in the near future!

Our first time here, after waiting years to try it. We came in on a Monday night, the place was empty. We decided on 2 Original burgers, Cajun fries and chili cheese fries. The place was very clean and the guys were very nice. Our burgers and fries looked great, presented very nicely. The flavor of the burgers was nothing special, and the sauce had very little flavor. The fries are hand cut, and they were pretty good. The chili cheese fries looked awesome, they're topped with a chunky beef and beans chili (not coney chili fyi). We both thought the chili had a familiar flavor and both thought it tasted like a Sloppy Joe sauce, not as sweet, but similar flavors. All In all, I think the food is fine, it didn't live up to the hype for us.

The burger to bun ratio was impressive and was one of the best burgers I have ever had !The onion rings were awesome! Last but not least the customer service was impeccable. They were friendly, patient, and made me feel welcomed! Excellent!!!!

Great burgers, fries and wings! Service was amazing, really friendly and attentive and smiles all around from the cooks to the cashier. The whole place was spotless and the bathrooms were super clean too. Great spot for late night burgers!

A very tasty burger. The burger comes just like you see on a picture . It's fresh and flaming. Definitely it's all the taste buds. Fries are incredible, salty and very tasty. Many burgers on this menu are made to perfection. Go there! Great food!

I've been to the original location a few times but it's been several years. I was in the area so I stopped in. I got the teriyaki burger and the specialty fries. The food was good but it cost almost $20 for just me and I didn't order a drink. That's just too much for fast food. I could have a nice sit down restaurant meal for the same price. I really think these high prices are going to drive business away.

Terrific burgers. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. These folks are imaginative with the menu and have been pleasant and accommodating the times I've eaten there. Decent value and portions. Way to go Taystee!

This place if AMAZING! GOD KNOWS WHAT THEY PUT IN THOSE BURGERS, IT IS AMAZING! Me and my son went here for his birthday. and OH MY GOD! the food was out of this world. including the service which was quite pleased.

I have been wanting to try Taystee Burger for years, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Taystee's Original so I could get a feel for their basic burger, and it was delicious. The grilled onions are what makes it in my opinion. I ordered it without lettuce and tomato, and they easily made the substitution. The West Coast Fries were phenomenal. The fries themselves are fresh cut and perfectly fried, and there are a ton of different varieties you can get. I didn't know if I was going to enjoy the nacho cheese on top of the West Coast Fries, but with the Taystee sauce and grilled onions it was a good combination. I would definitely order these again. The woman at the counter was very friendly, and our food was ready in 10 minutes. The burger was a little on the greasy side, and had grease on the tray but this was to be expected. In the future, I may try one of their chicken options to balance out the heaviness of the fries. Overall, if I'm in the area again I'm definitely stopping by!

*COVID19 Edition* Do I start with the food or the service? I'm going to start with the service. Immediately, there were at least three employees who were wearing their masks incorrectly. Instead, their masks only covered their mouths and not their noses, which is against current Michigan COVID19 guidelines. One employee blatantly just had his mask hanging from his ear, covering NOTHING, and no management was calling him out on it. On top of that, the line wasn't too long, but the wait for the food seemed longer than it needed to be. Their promised wait time came and went. So no stars for that. The food itself? Nothing special. I ordered the Notch-Yo-Burger, their most famous award-winning burger. It was fine. Honestly, it was a complete mess to eat. There were some interesting flavors but I was distracted by the disaster that it ultimately devolved into. I didn't enjoy eating it. I'm not sure I'll come back here even after there's no pandemic to worry about it. Management clearly doesn't take health issues seriously, and the food's nothing to sing about it. So disappointed.

The service here was great! The food was excellent and everything was clean. I will be going back the next time I'm in town. Plus I will be recommending it to everyone I know!!!

Hands down one of the best halal burgers you will ever have. Go there now and get anything on the menu and you will love it. The west coast fries are nothing like In-n-out fries (that's what I was told by a friend)

I tried the DIY milkshake stand and it was not good. I could not use a straw to drink my milkshake. And, I made a "regular" one, not a "thick". Very disappointing that it cost $7 for a dud milkshake.

I'm not sure how long this location has been open, but I found it by accident while going to Kroger. I've heard great things about Taystee's but never had them. When I got to the register to order the employee was very helpful. She let me know I can change any burger to a crispy chicken patty, instead of just getting a chicken sandwich. As a result I ordered the BBQ with crispy chicken instead of the burger patty. Sautéed mushrooms, onions, green peppers, beef bacon, Swiss cheese and bbq sauce on an onion roll!!! I've never been so happy with a chicken sandwich. I also ordered a side of lemon pepper fries, which were hot out the grease and delicious. I will definitely be back. On top of the great service and food, the restaurant was spotless.

I was cruising through this part of town and saw that Taystee's Burgers was a fairly new burger joint that had opened in a strip mall with plenty of available parking. The suite was brightly lit and could seat roughly forty customers. The setup and decor reminded me a bit like that of Five Guys minus the complimentary peanuts. Their burgers were 100% halal prepared so it's great for those customers who follow such a practice. For a mid-afternoon visit, I had the misfortune of having two people in front of me who took an extremely long time to place their respective orders. Each one had numerous questions and was changing their mind on the fly before committing to their items. When I got to the counter, all I wanted was a Taystee's Original on a brioche bun to-go. The $5.49 price tag included lettuce, tomato, pickles, American cheese, grilled onions and housemade sauce as toppings. The order was freshly made by the kitchen staff so the preparation time was about 5-10 minutes. When I took my first bite, I thought the burger was good but not the best I have tasted. For the size, quality of ingredients and price, I gave my experience a 3.5 star rating.

Want a great burger? Then Taystee Burger is a MUST. These burgers are absolutely delicious, mouth watering and wonderfully portioned.Couple it with their fries and you will be good and full looking for a comfy couch to take a nap, lol. Give this place a try, you will walk away satisfied. Two locations: One in Dearborn Hghts. and one in THE BP Gas station in Ford & Wyoming.

Three of us stopped for burgers and fries. The fries are not as good as from several months ago. I saw the cook using pre-cut fries from a bag, and I swear they used to hand cut the fries in the store, so - they were not nearly as good. Please bring back the hand cut fries. The meat also tasted a little less juicy...maybe Taystee's changed their beef grind mix too? Taystee used to be my favorite burger place for a burger & fries. Now it's at best tied with the other specialty burger joints, with a few places (Fi-burger, and Zo's) now being a little better than Taystee's. Please go back to your higher quality fries, and beef.

Food is too greasy. Seems like they just put a bunch of random food together. They are quick though I'll give them that

Still serving the 2nd best burger in SE Michigan. This could have been a 5-star review, but -2 stars for employee mask (mis)use. Mo was wearing his mask correctly. Another employee's mask did not cover the nose. Yet another employee ... mask covered only the chin and lower lip. They have limited seating, but the arrangement of the three remaining tables makes complying with the 6' guidance very difficult.

DoorDASH'n View!....Eh napkin deserving, good eating. The 'Taystee's Original' was a first try for me. See when you got a young adult, that TRYs everything! CAN'T help but rubb off on you! Burgers are his thang. Glad to report that I went along with this 'bun-toasted and dressed' with all their yum! Mmm'hmm... You got your pretty eating food!! Then there's Taystee's! Juicy bite....From the 'special sauce, lettuce, pickles, mato and grilled onions!' I cut in Half....pickles drop out. Tomato slide to dah side. All that flavour you have to eat in private. Why? IT'S not eh pretty moment! A bunch of napkins on standby...you've been warned. Thank you for the delivery prep...Bagg was delivered, triple sealed. Check! Carryout 'items numbered.' Even the receipt. That's some detail handling. Now, I am not sure if it was deliberate, the toppings tasting the way they did....but definitely would order again if I am in dah mood for eh private eating session. Oh yeah, went very well my Banan'Strawberry Smoothie...!!

I was craving a burger tonight and wanted something new. My man and I got the Hawaiian burger and the tasteeys BBQ burger, Mac and cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. Everything was soo good. So good it didn't last for photos. Can't wait to try the many other burgers and now they have some new bowls! I will be trying soon.

Ali Nacho burger! Great food. Great service. They have been consistent every time I ordered.

Incredible halal burgers with crazy add-ons! We got the Alis nacho burger that has all kinds of cheese and a layer of doritos! Also got the volcano that has stuff fried jalapeño poppers in the burger! Family got the Hawaiin burger which has a Pinapple and some sweet sauce which they said was good too. All of this at a gas station stop. I was able to buy an iPhone charger for $5 that I desperately needed too so that worked out really well for me haha. It was tasty, halal, and hit the spot.

I love the new location! It's bigger, airier, and also super close to the apartment. We came in on MLK day for lunch and were served right away. Staff were super nice and very friendly. I had the Mac Attack and it was so good. I love that they put coleslaw in the burgers - it helps to cut the savoriness of the burger.

In a world full of burgers and so called "burger experts/connoisseurs," it's surprising how many burger joints are just "meh." Taystee's however, was more than enjoyable our first time around. I had them bookmarked as one of a few burger places to visit in Michigan, based on all the other reviews as well as a couple mentions from random acquaintance. Driving to this location had me puzzled a bit, only because my trusted Samanta (Waze) was taking me through random run-down residential neighborhoods to get there. And if you're driving near Detroit, some neighborhoods just don't give out inviting aura. But in the end, it turned out to be located on one of the main busy commercial areas. Oddly enough, first thing I noticed when I walked up to the counter was the "We're halal" sign. Doing the quick math in my head, I thought of all the Mid-Eastern/Mediterranean restaurants I've been to that served seemingly unrelated regional food such as burgers, spaghetti, chicken tenders of the world, and thought to myself, "huh, it must be a thing now." I also immediately thought of a couple of my coworkers whom are Muslims and don't eat regular burgers. I later confirmed that one of them had tried Taystee's and already was a fan, and another one who had never tried a "burger" until last week when I forced him to try one at a local halal place. They weren't as good as Taystee's. Anyway, I had hoped Taystee's would be good, and they definitely hit the mark for me. My previous experiences at other halal places were mostly very good, and if that was of any indication, I knew Taystee's would get their beef seasoning right. I ordered 3 different burgers for my family, and a large order of fries, which turned out to be a bit too much, but very taystee. :-D Burgers were cooked very well also. I think I was mostly excited that I could recommend them to my now-no-longer-burger-virgin coworker. I don't care who you are; If you live in America, you should be able to enjoy a nice juicy hamburger like a good American does. And having halal options will only broaden the horizon. And I'm happy with that.

Taystee's Burgers are multiplying, and are starting to take over the world!! This is location #2, and it's not in a gas station!!!! Watch out Basement Bar Burger and 5 Guys, there's a new sheriff in town, and this one will put you to shame!! They were also featured in the Metropolitan Detroit "Hour" magazine just last month in the September 2019 issue...along with a few TV spots, and winners of a few Best of Detroit Competitions. Their new location has ample seating, comfy seats, multiple large screen tv's, a state of the art multi-flavor Coke machine (I wish they had Jack & Coke flavor - can I get an Amen?), milkshake machine and a pager system to come and pick up your food from the counter! Did I also mention that the food is fresh, hot, flavorful and absolutely TAYSTEE?!?!?! Just like their 1st location, the heart and soul of the new location is the delicious food... Today I got Ali's Notch-Yo-Burger (Won the Detroit Burger Brawl a few years ago), Coleslaw Fries and a Coke! This burger is incredible and hits all tastebuds and has the following: 5oz patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, jalapenos, american, pepper jack & nacho cheese, beef bacon, nacho cheese doritos, mayo & hot sauce within an onion bun. This burger has become a legend in SE Michigan, and with one try, I think you will agree! It is always fresh, juicy, perfectly cooked!!! I also had a side of their legendary Coleslaw Fries... These fries are the bomb and consist of fries with coleslaw and BBQ sauce on top. One taste and you'll be hooked... With all the food talk, I almost forgot to mention Ali, his business partner Moe, and the team. They are Top-Notch-Yo!! and are all very friendly and want to give you the best Taystee Experience possible, and will pretty much create your meal anyway you like it! Trust me, give them a try, and they will have you hooked!!

Customer service was great. They were very helpful and patient. The atmosphere is relaxed. The food was not expensive at all for the amount of food they give you and the Cajun fries were absolutely delicious! If we ever have to come back to Detroit, we will definitely stop by again! Thank you!

We ordered west coast fries, lemon pepper wings, BBQ wings, Buffalo wings, chicken melt burger, crispy chicken burger, tastee burger and curley fries. Everything was delicious and well made. I would highly recommend this place

So I LOVE TAYSTEE's! Been a fan since the original location was open. Like that they now have a bigger place to dine in, I however, did carry out my first visit. The menu has more options like beef bacon fries, crispy chicken melt, lettuce leaf buns and power bowls?! What??! That's amazing! The one disappointment I have is I ordered an Ali's notch-yo burger on a lettuce leaf bun and they did not give me the beef bacon that comes as part of the burger!!!! Which I didn't notice until I got home that it was missing. So not sure if it was just a miss because of my lettuce leaf bun or because they just forgot? I assume it was a one time fluke so I will be coming here in the future again. Hence only 4 stars. All and all happy you guys opened a new location West Coast fries are a MUST HAVE!

i crave these burgers. i'm from the bay area and my husband -- from metro detroit -- introduced me to this spot. i wish we had halal burgers in the bay like this! i've tried the notch-yo-burger and cool ranch supreme, both of which are soooooo freaking good. i really want to try the special and mac attack next. the restaurant is clean and the staff was properly masked when i went.

Wow! Can I say this is the place to come for that homemade delicious burger! The manager has a golden personality! He makes you feel at home, polite, offers recommendations! The burgers are amazing! Fries are the best home sliced, hot, and I rarely eat fries! So impressed

Great burgers, great decor, and great service. Kinda hard to see from the main road, but I'm glad they opened up a location in Dearborn Heights. The other location is fine, but it was a little cramped being that it was sharing space with a gas station. This feels like a true experience, and there is more than just burgers on the menu. Not just one of the best halal burgers in Michigan, but one of the best burgers in Michigan period.

I would give them five stars but I've Asked on numerous occasions for them to layer my styrofoam contain with wax paper. Styrofoam is a chemical. When you drop hit ass fries and the containers missing pieces... where is the pieces!?!? In the fries! Out the fries in the paper fries bags... it's that simple and better for recycling. Burgers good. Chicken good. But that styrofoam got to go.

The GOAT of burger joints. Best of: flavor, quality, variety, freshness, service. I will never eat a drive through burger again. Taystee's will be my burger spot from now on. Did I mention the staff? They are awesome. Don't hesitate with this one just go and enjoy the goodness

Oh man these burgers are amazing! Toppings are piled on high. Juicy, well-seasoned patties. Wish they had a spot in D.C. so i can try out each one.

I don't rhapsodize over a place often, but.... The menu was great, you've got the basics, and they embellish them quite creatively. The portions were generous to say the least, and the fresh cut french fries were excellent, no grease!!! But as a food service pro and veteran of almost 50 years, the operation was very impressive. They were cleaning constantly, and not just taking a quick swipe at the surfaces of everything, I saw them raise a cutting board and clean under it, the stainless was just that; stainless. More than adequate staff, everybody was in a clean uniform, and the service was quick. I absolutely would recommend this place without any hesitation.

I'm conflicted on what rating to give. The chicken sandwich was pretty awful -- it tasted like any generic brand of pressed frozen chicken tenders. The bun was ok, the 3 chicken tenders inside the sandwich had zero flavor, the toppings were fine. The burger was pretty good with fresh ingredients. Salt and pepper fries were the best part of the meal. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Visited Dearborn from Virginia for an emergency. On a Sunday night, it was difficult to find food for our family, let alone something tasty and good service. Taystee's was great! The service was very friendly and welcoming and their food was delicious and fast.

The food is good if you can get past the 1 hour wait and rude employees. I asked the guy there how much longer it would take after waiting 40 minutes for a single burger, he snapped and said I should be patient.

Freaking awesome burgers! The taste of the burger itself is great. The meat is perfect. I ordered a double cheeseburger with grilled cheese buns, and it was so good I came back the next day. Chill environment, looks nice and modern, four big screen TVs. Overall great place, very recommended.

I went ahead and ordered the cool ranch burger (favorite chips). When I picked up the order and took my first bite i noticed the chips where very stale. I was so upset the only thing good was the fries. The only reason for the 2 star rating. Also forgot to put napkins in the bag. I was so hungry I took all the chips out of the burger and ate it.

Very disappointed got raw chicken. What I don't understand is these restaurants make it big and run their restaurants top notch and than once they become popular and open a second location things just get worse and worse. And when they open even more well than forget about getting good food from these type of restaurants. They throw a bunch of teenagers that don't care what they are sending out to customers. Even raw chicken!! I ordered from here after not ordering for a over a year. So last week I decided to try again.I was hoping things would be better but they def were not. One of the items I ordered was a chicken melt and when I say it was raw I mean pink on the inside and rubbery. It was a raw undercooked piece of chicken. It was my daughters dinner and she was out of dinner bc of this. The burgers taste burnt and cheap quality meat. It's a shame that once you start to branch out the quality of food goes down. It's safe to say I will definitely not be a returning customer.

I am not a big burger eater and wondered about the hype made on the D about this place. I was intrigued by the story of how this place was started. I can vouch that the burger was juicy and tasty. I like that the meat is halal and that there is a variety of toppings, bread, etc. The Taystee sauce was Ok...definitely get sauce on the side to prevent the bread from getting soggy.

This is my second review because of how truly phenomenal the burgers are here. My friends and I came from out of town and we absolutely LOVE IT. We brought our extended family back too and the kids adored it. My cousins who's a PICKY eater said "this is the best burger In The entire universe" we love the customer service and how clean and delicious everything is. We love you taystees!!!!!!!!

Just opened and it's slammed already. Taystee's has reached legendary status. The menu has a few more options than Taystee's East (1st location) but everything is just as fresh, fast and amazing. Hawaiian, and Original are fantastic and the coleslaw fries are crave worthy. So happy they're a little closer to home now. The restaurant is very well designed, bathrooms clean and they're system is working great! We had our food within 7 minutes. No hiccups here, it's even more streamline than before. The owners really make this place, they're professional, efficient, consistent and always there with a smile. We couldn't be happier to have them so close!

OMG- I love these burgers! Just found this place and love it! I am a burger freak and they don't get better than this!! Also West last dries are to die for!!! We drive 45 minutes to get here and worth every minute
