Taste of Lisboa - Food Tours

We had the pleasure of joining Taste of Lisboa for an amazing food tour for our honeymoon! Dani was incredible, fully of energy, very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We went to many different restaurants, cafes, bars, that were each so unique in their own way. This tour truly takes you off the beaten path, away from the typical tourist spots, and introduced use to amazing Portuguese traditions and cuisines. We were left with a printed list of other recommendations which we followed for the remainder of our time in Lisbon so definitely go your first day! Thank you Dani!

Daniel was a fantastic tour guide and the sights and tastes of Lisbon are really well introduced on this tour. We hit 6 different stops in 2 distinct neighborhoods, with food, drink, history, and culture at every stop. Daniel did a great job of weaving the history and culture of Lisbon and Portugal into the tour, while keeping it fun, welcoming, and entertaining the whole time. Highly recommend, especially at the start of any stay for those who have never been. It gives great context for what you’ll see and taste the rest of your time in this beautiful city.

When my friend and I went on this tour we didn’t know what quite to expect. Our guide Daniel was exceptional in his explanations of all the food we tasted, mixed with the different cultures and how the foods that we ate came about. We really enjoyed the food tour with Taste of Lisboa. Our guide Daniel was excellent. We not only got to sample a variety of traditional dishes, but also learned the cultural and historical context associated with the items we tried and of Portugal in general. We highly recommend this tour!

Pedro did a wonderful job of sharing Lisbon with our group! He was very informed and we learned so much! The food and drinks we sampled were so good and the perfect amount of flavors ! I highly recommend going on his Food & Cultural Walk tour!!

We can highly recommend this food tour of Lisbon.  Pedro was such a great guide - not only did he explain to us about the traditional food of Portugal,  but also of the history, pointing out and explaining all the cultural elements of the buildings we passed and of the country itself.  His English was perfect and his knowledge wide ranging so he could answer our questions on all sorts of topics related to Portugal.  His delivery was frequently irreverent with lots of jokes which keep us amused!  The places chosen to sample the food were excellent- focusing on small,  family businesses which had a strong history in the city.  The food was excellent too!  At the end Pedro asked us what our favourite food had been - but it was impossible to say.....although the Pastel de Natas were the best we had ever tasted!
