Most of the food was good, but a few things kept it from being a 5-star experience. The salad with roasted bell pepper was too bitter, and the pepper flavor was barely noticeable. The ceviche was tasty, but the bananas were over-fried and almost inedible. Otherwise, it’s a cool spot with a nice atmosphere. Sitting at the bar was very cozy.

The food was phenomenal from the smoked butter and focaccia to the cashew cream roasted butternut and fried chicken. Staff were super friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere fun and authentic, just book in advance. We ordered amazing wine as well and they have a huge selection and give great recommendations 🍷. A little gem which I’d definitely recommend to anyone visiting and I can’t wait to return on my next trip!

Inconsistent place with no non alcohol drink alternative. Ate the tartar that was very good but the crispy bread with it was tooth breaking hard. The salad was a non interesting sweet mess. we got the special that was the amber jack head it was very good with an interesting sauce. Then we got the fried chicken and it was burnt on the outside and not cooked all the way through so we sent it back. I liked the potato terrine too. The steak was a weird cut and did not taste great and it was chewy, for 17 euros I want better. So why the low score? The crispy chicken was terrible and even though we did not pay for it they kept sending it out to other guests. And they don't have anything to drink other than warm sparkling water or normal water if you don't drink alcohol. They should take off the chicken of the menu and if you decide to go bring soft bread and have the tartar and the amber jack fish head and leave it at that.

A wonderful dinner experience! Definitely book a few days or even weeks ahead. As a vegetarian, I was very satisfied and so was my meat-eating boyfriend. For me, the potato terrine was the stand-out. Had 6 dishes between two of us and that was perfect. The wine can be quite pricey but then, who‘s forcing you to drink a whole bottle like we did..? All the staff was super friendly and happy to explain the menu. Would come again, for sure!

Wonderful little hidden gem of Lisbon. Booked a table a month in advance for 2. The open kitchen was well decorated and was nice to see the dishes being cooked. All the dishes (little on the saltier side) were amazing especially the potato terrine. The menu was a little hard to read but the chefs were super nice and friendly. The physical restaurant space was quite small though so it was difficult for people to walk pass through in between the tables.

One of the most phenomenal food experiences I’ve ever had. João and his team are incredibly talented and amazing hosts. Every dish was a journey of different flavours and textures that all came together beautifully. Great wine selection and such a cosy environment. You can really feel the love and passion that goes into each dish. I’m already excited to visit again.

Fantastic gem in the heart of Lisbon. Simple but delicious plates of food for reasonable prices. The guys are super friendly and will talk you through all the dishes and drinks they have that day. Do make a reservation, it'll be hard to walk in! Worth checking out for sure.

The staff is super friendly and helpful! The food is absolutely amazing - it's a great place to go with a friend or two, order a bunch of dishes and share them all. Order wine, you won't regret it. 10/10 would come back again
