The sizzling, steaming taco operation has been around for more than 15 years in a busy intersection in the Narvarte neighborhood. Chilangos revere the taquería for the spiciness of their guacamole, roja, and verde salsas, all kissed with habanero. Love the bold and simple signage here. And the food? The suadero is as luscious and meaty as they say. Just make sure to get it in the big chunks and not chopped up. The salsas are as spicy as they come. Service young and friendly and efficient. There’s nothing not to like about Tony. We ate at the little stand which is the original Tony. Go across the street if you want to sit down for table service or a few blocks down to the newest Tacos Tony, although I can’t vouch for them I imagine quality is consistent.

The saudero here is the best taco i have had in my life. Hands down. Would recommend eating at the outdoor stand late night to get the full experience. You can even drive up and they serve you in your car!

The plan was just to have 1 taco and then go somewhere else but the tongue taco was so delicious that I had to have 2. I would have stayed there to taste all other ones they had but we had other plans unfortunately. Highly recommendable. The girls serving were great!!!

This place is the truth. A bit higher end than other Tacquiera's but not abnormal for this area either. Quality is peak. Great, large cocktails too. Wonderful service. Seems like they have the original stand and a sit-in space as well.
