We’re really so lucky to have Supreme Echo in Victoria! I went through a long period in my life where I was moving around cities so often I never felt like I could amass any sizeable collection of physical music media, despite my love for it. Now that that’s over and I’m ready to hunt my wishlist down, this is a place I know will always have things I’m likely to never come across anywhere else on the island. Jason is so obviously passionate about bringing provocative music into people’s hands and it shows in how earnestly he runs the shop, and his label.

The smallest record store I have ever been in, but easily of of my favourites. Jason is passionate about music and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to many genres, especially local bands and their history. Great selection of Psych and Jazz, graded honestly, and priced fairly.

Victoria has lots of different shops, and Supreme Echo has found its niche. Jason is simply amazing! Always willing to talk to customers and educate them about music, the industry, etc. He is also very happy to send you to a shop that may have what you are looking for if he doesn't. This is always my first stop when looking for new vinyl.
