I hesitated to give a review of this place because I don't want to share lol They only do take out now and going forward. The food was exceptional, best Egg foo young I've had in a very long time breaded shrimp and Chicken Balls are delicious. The lady at the order and pick up window was Super friendly and seemed to know all the customers waiting for their orders by name It takes a bit of time to get your order but we will definitely be back enough times for the Nice Lady to know our names lol

First time ordering. Placed order in advance because it was a large order. Ready on time, friendly service and fantastic food. Fed 13 people with a dinner for 6 and a dinner for 4 and had a fair bit of leftovers. I highly recommend this Chinese food. PS - picked up and took it home to Bowmanville and it was piping hot

This restaurant offers take-out only. Their Chinese food is the best I have had in Durham Region. The food is flavourful, fresh and a healthier option for Chinese food.

Today when we ordered , Dinner for 6 and 2 extra dishes for a fairly large family dinner, we were told 30 minutes to pick it up. We live 10minutes away, so we were disappointed food was cold. The sweet and sour chicken ball was gross the sweet and sour pork was old and dry. we ordered were two of the most disgusting dishes I have ever had. One was a curry chicken which tasted like feet The noodle dishes were cold and not a lot of taste. We've been to sunny restaurant many times before and the food has always been great Would never come back here again. Meal and service was poor using dishwasher gloves handle food items from the window that unsanitary. This is unacceptable adding extra inflation fee of 10% over the 13% you pay for the food. Spend your money elsewhere and get a better meal and service for the price.

Food was hot and excellent tasting. Good portions as well. Recommend Sunny's for great Chinese food!!

We tried Chinese food from Sunny's on Mother's Day 2021. It was incredibly busy but worth the long wait. Really good food, and unlike every other place we've had Chinese food at, we weren't dying of thirst afterward. That's a big plus! Food was fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. Portions are on the small side though. But we will go back and try again.

My go-to Chinese restaurant (near the border of Courtice and Oshawa) was closed, so I decided to give this one a shot. I’d heard good things about it from a friend, as well as some strangers on a town social media group, but had never tried it. I ordered the dinner for two, and drove out to Orono to pick it up. The lady who was working the front of the restaurant was very kind and great both on the phone and in person, and was excellent at her job. That made the experience better. The food was pretty good, but it cost several dollars more than I’m used to paying. I also still prefer my favourite restaurant, which has spoiled me when it comes to Chinese food. I won’t be driving the forty minutes to get food here, but it’s a solid option for those who are closer.

The best Chinese food I've had in Durham Region by far. The food is always tasty, and the portions are perfect. They have the best General Tao's Chicken I've ever tasted! I drive from Bowmanville to get food from Sunny's, and I know others come from Ajax because it's simply the best. Great value and great service from the lady who works there (I'm sorry, I forget her name.) 10/10 will recommend to everyone!
