They have quite a lot of dry Indian stocks. But when it comes to vegetables it’s surprising that they don’t have fresh veggies and more authentic Indian veggie varieties. Overall a decent place for dry Indian products if you want to buy. There are better places to go for veggies if needed in Houston !

Never had this kind of rice powder. I got more packs of rice powder and semolina was old and smelling bad. Not sure whom to complain. Please don't buy that white transparent plastic supreme quality powder!

Today I bought veg aalu bonds. After eating I understood that it is not aalu bond, it is salt bonda. Strongly recommend not to buy restaurant food.

Well I did go here often but the last time I visited the grocer I asked the checker if I purchased a watermelon could I get it cut in half for easier transporting since I was walking. Let me add I'm a 65 year old black woman that visited the store about 5 times a week and I walk. He told me no. Without any explanation he turned away..if you wanted my business you should have said yes. I will be walking further to the next grocer. Maybe they will please their customer.

Good shopping experience!!! They have all Indian products available in most affordable prices in hillcroft! I highly recommend them as they have some great quality products.

Great produce at reasonable prices. Huge variety of incense at a very good value. Staff are friendly and stay busy keeping the shelves stocked. This is my favorite grocery store for products from India.

Subhlaxmi is one of the biggest Indian grocery store of Houston. They sell almost every thing right from frozen Gujarati, South Indian and North Indian food to Puja samagri and Home decor items. They also sell beautiful handcrafted swings, God idols and even Indian musical instruments like harmonium, tabla and Dholak. You name it they have it. They do have in-house kitchen for fresh food and fresh sugarcane juice. Also SUPER is their in-house brand. Price is very competitive and along with awesome customer service. Specially their manger (Aesha) is very polite, understanding and helpful. She know aisle location for almost all products. They do offer free curbside pick up and home delivery up to 12 km radius starting from $7.99 additional. Though delivery takes 1-2 days. They do have website where you can place online orders.
