Really lovely shop jam packed with everything you could want from a shop like this! This is a shop that is impossible to leave empty handed; I treated myself to a set of watercolour pencils which I’d been wanting for months. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area and want a little treat which you can tell yourself is an artistic necessity (go on, you deserve it!)

My favorite art store in London! I bought a massive easel here and they delivered it home and helped me bring it up two flights of stairs. Thank you! I also bought a beautiful Japanese art knife which I hadn't been able to find in any other art stores in London. The shop is neatly organized and I was basically drooling over everything they sell. I wish they were open on weekends so I could visit more often!

Visited looking for a new fountain pen. They have a good selection of them, among many other wonderful things, including notebooks. They were also able to provide friendly expert advice, which I appreciated very much.

This is a stationery heaven. It is chock full of everything any artist or stationery-enthusiast could want. They stock colour pencils, paints, wires for jewellery making, thread, glitter and even miniatures. I love that the shop has retained a vintage and classy feel and that they use ladders to reach items at the top!

Containing everything your heart would desire for stationary and notebooks. As a creative in advertising I go nowhere else for my personal notebooks and I always enjoy exploring their stock.

Wonderful amazing experience. They were punctual with their opening time, they had things I thought “did that even exist?!”, the staff were very helpful-welcoming-friendly AND when I asked them if they had a product they didn’t, their response was not a simple no but rather “we don’t but that sounds amazing”. I admire the fact that they are willing to know about those things they don’t rather than being closed to experience/new products. I don’t live in London but next time I come for a trip, this would be my shop to buy all art supplies. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Great little shop with a huge selection of materials given its size. One of the few stockists of the wonder Leuchtturm notebook range in London.

I'm always a supporter of independent small businesses in central London and beyond. This art supplies store does seem to stock almost everything that I'm always looking for. S.R. Robertson's have a huge range of Caran D'Ache pens, pencils and artists materials. And retail staff are always very helpful and polite with their customers.

If you were to go back in time to a pre-Amazon and Walmart world, SRS would be your go-to for all manner of arts and crafts supplies. The storefront has a proper awning and a curated display of its many wares. Inside, the reception is flanked on one end by a counter piled high w pens and notebooks through which a staff member can be seen ready to greet you w a smile and readiness to assist. The aisles run to the ceiling and are stocked full of sketch, painting and drawing goods. The price may not be as competitive but you get a v personal touch that is rare in retail these days.
