This is the wonderland shop for some of us , one of my teenage children said visiting the store is the best thing they’ve done during half term !!! Beautiful, unique place, anything you might need for an art project and much more these people have it . A great working team , able to help you , an enormous variety of products . The pens in display are magical , they have all sort of diaries , too. I doubt there’s something you look for as an artist and they say they don’t have , best stationary art and craft shop I have been to. Undoubtedly will return soon !

Really lovely shop jam packed with everything you could want from a shop like this! This is a shop that is impossible to leave empty handed; I treated myself to a set of watercolour pencils which I’d been wanting for months. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area and want a little treat which you can tell yourself is an artistic necessity (go on, you deserve it!)

This is a stationery heaven. It is chock full of everything any artist or stationery-enthusiast could want. They stock colour pencils, paints, wires for jewellery making, thread, glitter and even miniatures. I love that the shop has retained a vintage and classy feel and that they use ladders to reach items at the top!

First visit and found this to be a really well-presented shop with very good quality materials and tools, and excellent, amiable and knowledgeable staff. Everything is very well presented, so a lot easier to find things than in some shops of similar size. I visited because they stocked some gilding equipment that is surprisingly hard to find here. Felt like I was back in Paris.

Great service. I ordered an item on Friday morning and received it by Monday morning via Royal Mail. The communication was also good. Almost forgot to mention, sometimes, their prices are a smidgeon less than well-known online art suppliers here in the UK

I'm always a supporter of independent small businesses in central London and beyond. This art supplies store does seem to stock almost everything that I'm always looking for. S.R. Robertson's have a huge range of Caran D'Ache pens, pencils and artists materials. And retail staff are always very helpful and polite with their customers.

If you were to go back in time to a pre-Amazon and Walmart world, SRS would be your go-to for all manner of arts and crafts supplies. The storefront has a proper awning and a curated display of its many wares. Inside, the reception is flanked on one end by a counter piled high w pens and notebooks through which a staff member can be seen ready to greet you w a smile and readiness to assist. The aisles run to the ceiling and are stocked full of sketch, painting and drawing goods. The price may not be as competitive but you get a v personal touch that is rare in retail these days.
