Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre

Visited for the Sigur Ròs concert. Centrally located, steps away from the Central Station. Concert hall was grand and the sound systems did justice to the show.

Its a big congress centre with plenty and professional high tech resources. Not that surprising, it comes with a price. It lacks somewhat in personality and it could benefit from having more orientation boards around all areas. But hey, its also spacious, friendly staff and cool tech solutions for anyone arranging a big conference or congress with multiple speakers in parallel. So its a good place to gather many people with a purpose under one roof.

Went to see Russell Howard, his show gets 5 stars. Ticket check was fast and efficient. The theatre could have a better slope for better visibility from all seats. The seats leave much to be desired. A two hour show is painful.

Kinda silly to have to throw away an empty bag, when having all my stuff, from the bag, in my pockets was fine. The stage could absolutely do with some big screens, so people sitting high up in the "cheap seats" (they're not cheaper) can actually see the performer, without binoculars. Staff was efficient and helpful, and the seats were comfortable enough for two hours.

No microphones for a discussion panel, difficulties with lightning on the stage, even though we've met one of the waterfront workers before the conference to discuss the details. We got the information before, that our questions should be asked towards AV assistant. So we were assured that if we hire the AV assistant (something that we also got to know in email later, that we have to hire AV for another 10K and no help is given to us otherwise during the conference) he will help us with the lightening and other set up during the conference. Unfortunately all of our needs turned out to be a problem and not possible to achieve. So at the end the whole event looked super unprofessional and the AV assistant was just sitting during the whole day and not really helping us with fixing. We will definitely choose other space for next conferences. That was a very overpriced and stressful experience with waterfront :(

I went there for a concert. Not pleasant experience at all. No clear information about not being allowed to bring even small purse. They sent huge crowd of people to the nearest train station and tell them to use the locker there. The cost is 79 SEK + 207 SEK. Then, you have to pay extra 40 sek for cloak room. Well, I have no intention to be back there for any event.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I had front row "VIP" tickets to the Star Wars show today and was turned around saying I couldn't take in my tiny purse. There was NO mention of this on the tickets, no email, no SMS. I tried to explain I carry my purse due to the medications I take, due to having cancer, I even showed them that at the doors but they didn't care. Had to run around like a crazy person trying to find a locker in the central station. Meanwhile, I get into the place and they have A COATCHECK...I could have easily have stored my bag there! VIP my a... They treat you like garbage. I was so looking forward to this show, thank you for putting a damper on the whole experience. Such a shame for a great orchestra to have to perform here.
