Stockholm Fisk

The atmosphere of the place was fancy and lovely. People working there were busy but nice. However, the meal…honestly, the pickled onion (probably) in the bisque soup was disturbing the taste. The mushroom risotto had too strong flavor and hard to finish. Personally, I felt that the overall experience here did not deserve the price.

Fantastic restaurant with great food. You can find traditional Swedish dishes and others on the menu. Herring is a must try accompanied by snaps. I was told by Swedish colleagues dining with us. Atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

Today we were with my family in this nice place. Everything is good, but honestly, there was a lack of coziness, warmth, very much. But everything is delicious, try the pink shrimps, excellent.

The restaurant is well located and has a nice decoration. The food is good (I highly recommend the pasta!), however the char was probably frozen because it was not very tasty and full of water. The service was great.

Went for dinner, one person. I was told that I only have an hour to dine in since I didn’t have a reservation. And, there was some sort of renovations in the back. Food was delicious and drinks were tasty. The service was good as well, but later I found out the price point is way higher than around.

Before heading to the airport we grabbed a quick lunch at the Stockholm Fisk restaurant inside the Radisson Blu Viking Hotel. It was a quiet Thursday early afternoon. Not many customers at the restaurant at this time so we had the dining area to ourselves. The bartender was pleasant & friendly. The service was good and the food was delicious and very flavorful. We were not disappointed at all. I ordered the mushroom soup, my son ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and my husband ordered the Swedish meatball in cream sauce. All the dishes had wonderful flavors. I love mushrooms so the soup was such a delight on a cold day. Just the perfect comfort food along with the cheese sandwich. Sweden is known for their meatballs and it was a fan favorite in my family.

We went there for a typical Swedish dinner and for fish and we were not disappointed. The starters are small so a starter and a main will be fine. Desserts are quite generous. Everything was really good. The nettle soup was great! I would also recommend having some bread. Nordics are very good at offering fluffy butter. This one was particularly good and light! Service was great.

We decided last minute to have dinner at a slightly more upscale restaurant while in Stockholm, Fisk came highly recommended by hotel staff so we decided to dress up and go. The restaurant’s decor to impressive. We were seated promptly and the waitress was amazing. I regret that we can not remember her name but she was so kind. I’m normally not interested in small talk because I’m shy but she made us feel right at home. Speaking with her was pleasant. If she is seeing this I just wanted to say thank you. You made our experience there memorable Now for the food…. The food was delicious the lobster was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The smoked prawns can not be missed. I ordered a drink called “some like it hot” when I tell you this drink was without question the best drink I’ve ever had I mean every word. Do not skip this place. It’s worth every cent. The bill was not as high as we expected and we order A LOT of food. We finished every bite that’s how delicious it was.
