Because of its size, Steeplejack works well for both casual group meetups and established events, with several private room rentals; Steeplejack waives all room fees and minimums for nonprofits. I came here after an appointment for a beer and oh my gosh! Steeplejack did not disappoint!! Staff was extremely friendly and eager to help me pick out a beer that fits my flavor profile. Theres many taps to choose from! Being able to see their beer production process was SO unique. The inside of the building is absolutely gorgeous. Such a great vibe and a great brewery. (The mosaic window is mesmerizing!)

Rarely have I received service like I did today and not from just one person on staff but every person I interacted with. You take that service and pair it with fantastic beer and amazing food and you get Steeplejack Brewing. The burger was fantastic with melted cheese running down the side and the fries were perfectly seasoned. They are happy to help you choose the exact beer that fits your flavor profile and when you do it doesn't disappoint. Also, I love the interior vibes. Being in a "church" with music and being able to see their beer production process was so unique. My favorite brewery so far in the area.

I had the absolute pleasure of trying these loaded fries and tacos, and they were nothing short of phenomenal! The loaded fries were a flavor explosion—perfectly crispy fries topped with tender pulled meat, fresh herbs, tangy pickled onions, and a creamy drizzle that tied it all together beautifully. The textures were spot-on, with the crunch of the fries complemented by the richness of the toppings. The tacos were just as incredible—vibrant, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The perfectly spiced, slow-cooked filling paired wonderfully with the zesty pickled onions and crunchy pepitas. Each bite was a delightful balance of savory and tangy, with the fresh herbs adding a fragrant touch. Both dishes showcased thoughtful attention to detail and an abundance of bold, complementary flavors. Whether you’re a fries fan or a taco enthusiast, these dishes will leave you thoroughly satisfied. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates gourmet street food done right!

Visiting from out of town and really enjoyed this place!!! The beer was good, service was fantastic, and a super cool atmosphere. We had the hefe and pale ale + honey wings + croquettes + salsa verde tacos. Everything we had was delicious !! Would recommend and definitely go back.

I reserved one of their spaces for a large party with friends and we had the best time! We had our own server to take care of everything from food and drink orders, to keeping things tidy. They were very attentive and kept things flowing smoothly. No charge or minimum for the room. The food was fresh, the mac -n- cheese was everything you could hope for. I love the space with huge windows, soaring ceilings and wooden booths. Thanks so much for a fun evening!

First off, this place is one of the coolest looking breweries I have ever stepped foot in. Then you taste their beer and wow. So great. Their food was delicious, and the server was really attentive, well done all around. I wish I lived in Portland just to be able to go to this place on the regular.

What a fun place to grab a beer and some food! Service is very prompt and friendly whether you sit at the bar or a table. I was with a group on a trivia night so the place was quite busy and our server made her rounds to our table at the perfect times. I don't think any of us had to wait more than a minute between drinks and food orders throughout the night. It made the night so much more enjoyable. I wish I could have remembered to get her name (our server) so I could give her a shout out. We'll be back for sure! The only slight criticism that I could think to include maybe the main setting area is a bit echoey so it can make hearing one another a bit difficult. I highly recommend checking this place out. It's inside an old church that makes for a fun visually engaging experience!
