Excellent stay at this friendly hotel. Location is great with close access to the Zurich old town. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. Very welcoming! The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The shower is a bit awkward with a big step up to get in. Have to be careful and lots of water gets on the floor. Breakfast on-site was delicious with a great coffee machine. I would easily stay here again in Zurich. A good value in a very expensive city.

Stayed here for a week in May. Seems more like a 4 star hotel than a 3. Room was spacious and maintenance and cleanliness were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring the old town. Very good breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the heart of Zürich just outside of the old town. The hotel staff was very welcoming with an easy check-in. Our room was really nice and clean with comfortable beds. The windows had blackout curtains. The wifi was good. The rooms had air conditioning. The hotel breakfast was great and we enjoyed sitting outside. A lovely stay!

This is very nice hotel with a great location--quiet and residential feeling, but within an easy walk to the train station, old town, art museum etc. We had a great room on the top floor with a wall of windows (but quiet anyway). The staff was very kind and went out of their way to make sure that the room was what we wanted. They were also helpful one evening to accommodate some friends who stopped by to have a glass of wine with us (the restaurant was closed by then). Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was very good, and I thought the hotel was well-priced. I'd definitely stay here again!

An excellent choice in Zurich! Very spacious and modern room, with a spotless, large bathroom, very comfortable beds and air conditioning. I loved the chair and footstool provided and the in-room kettle with coffee and tea. Odd thing to specifically note, but there was a room diffuser in the bathroom which smelled amazing! Staff on reception were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We appreciated the baggage storage on check out. Fantastic tip - you can buy train tickets directly from the hotel (and it doesn’t affect the price of the ticket) - how convenient! This hotel is also easy to find and very close (definitely walking distance) to the train station. They offer airport transfers, too. The shower has an excellent massage shower head, but only reaches 38 degrees Celsius - it would be nice if the water could be hotter. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat. Right next to the poly Bahn funicular. We would definitely stay here again!

What most others say about this place is true. A good and comfortable hotel, good breakfast, many nearby restaurants, nice beds, interesting shower, and truly friendly staff. The room is well lit and pleasing. The view out of our window is picturesque.

Zurich is expensive but this hotel provides an excellent standard for its 3 stars. The staff were really fantastic at making suggestions and lent us a pass to the nearby Kunst Museum, a must see. Location is good for the train station and old town and the room was clean and comfortable.

A very enjoyable 4 night stay at Hotel St. Josef. Spoke to around 8 different staff during our stay & all were super helpful & eager to answer our questions or assist. Very quiet in our room as the hotel is set well back from a busy road. Handy location to the train station (10 min walk) & close to the old town. Would happily stay again.
