Cute little hotel, very cozy and home like in Old Town. Staff is very welcoming and warming. Great service and clean. Good for family or couples. Definitely recommend and would stay again and again 😊

This is very nice hotel with a great location--quiet and residential feeling, but within an easy walk to the train station, old town, art museum etc. We had a great room on the top floor with a wall of windows (but quiet anyway). The staff was very kind and went out of their way to make sure that the room was what we wanted. They were also helpful one evening to accommodate some friends who stopped by to have a glass of wine with us (the restaurant was closed by then). Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was very good, and I thought the hotel was well-priced. I'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay at this friendly hotel. Location is great with close access to the Zurich old town. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. Very welcoming! The room was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. The shower is a bit awkward with a big step up to get in. Have to be careful and lots of water gets on the floor. Breakfast on-site was delicious with a great coffee machine. I would easily stay here again in Zurich. A good value in a very expensive city.

Stayed here for a week in May. Seems more like a 4 star hotel than a 3. Room was spacious and maintenance and cleanliness were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for exploring the old town. Very good breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again.

A very enjoyable 4 night stay at Hotel St. Josef. Spoke to around 8 different staff during our stay & all were super helpful & eager to answer our questions or assist. Very quiet in our room as the hotel is set well back from a busy road. Handy location to the train station (10 min walk) & close to the old town. Would happily stay again.

Zurich is expensive but this hotel provides an excellent standard for its 3 stars. The staff were really fantastic at making suggestions and lent us a pass to the nearby Kunst Museum, a must see. Location is good for the train station and old town and the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for two nights and had a good experience. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Zurich, only a few minutes walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof (Zurich main station) and very close as well to the old town. Our room was tastefully decorated and in good shape (i.e., seemed newly renovated). The hotel employees were friendly and accommodating, letting us print documents and being otherwise really helpful with a some small queries we had. The breakfast was decent but a bit minimalistic. I enjoyed the croissants and birchermüesli but there wasn’t much of a selection of warm dishes (e.g., no scrambled eggs, no pancakes or hash browns). Overall very recommended when staying in Zurich!

What most others say about this place is true. A good and comfortable hotel, good breakfast, many nearby restaurants, nice beds, interesting shower, and truly friendly staff. The room is well lit and pleasing. The view out of our window is picturesque.
