St Katharine Docks

Like a hidden oasis. I discovered this place a few years ago while exploring Wapping. A 10/15 minute walk from the lovely Town of Ramsgate pub. I was greeted by beautiful dock views and the epic 3 story Dickens Inn pub. Various other restaurants around the dock. Tower Bridge just around corner. A calming atmosphere despite there being lots of people around.

St Katharine Docks quickly became one of my favorite corners of London — my cousins live there, and it’s such an amazing neighborhood to wander around. You’re walking distance from all the main attractions, the boats nearby add a postcard-perfect vibe, and the international food options make it dangerously easy to keep “accidentally” eating your way through the area. Knowing it’s been featured in films like James Bond (and I’m pretty sure Mission: Impossible) makes it feel oddly futuristic — like you’re strolling through a movie set. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you go for a walk and end up staying out way longer than planned.

We were visiting the Tower of London and stayed next to it , so we took a 15 min walk to st Katherine's dock a easy walk with lots of restaurants around the dock we choice the Italian which was very good with great service and a fair price .

This is such a hidden gem in London in my opinion and is even more beautiful at Christmas. If you're in the area it's absolutely worth a visit, such a mix of very old and very modern both in terms of buildings and boats. Of course it's also on the doorstep of Tower Bridge so lots to see and do nearby.

A lovely place to visit in London. Lots of food and drink options and plenty of things to do and see.

I love spending time there ! Having pick nik with my fiancé, maybe place to eat or have a drink. It’s so relaxing ! It’s so perfect ! I highly recommend visiting this place. I go there every week. And even more !

What a beautiful spot. We were fortunate enough to stay on a boat there during a recent visit for our son’s wedding and would highly recommend a visit there. Restaurants are plentiful and there is so much to see and do in the area. The staff around the marina are very friendly and helpful and we look forward to visiting the area again.
