Squeeze Burger

A simple kitchen, simple food yet the end result is so incredibly different. The cheese skirt around our burgers were a first and yet we're already craving for more. Definitely recommend this spot. Great job you guys

This place was highly reviewed and people were raving about the onion rings so I decided to give this place a shot. You walk into this place and it simply feels like a typical diner. The employees were friendly and they promptly took my order. I couldn't ask for anything more in that regards. I ordered a double cheeseburger and some onion rings. The onion rings arrived first and I began to dive right in. As I was eating these they seemed alright. I couldn't really find anything distinctive about them. Nothing that would make me tell the whole world this are awesome. If anyone has ever been to Frankies in Dallas those onion rings are phenomenal. When the burger arrived it certainly looked eye-watering. Two juicy patties topped on top of eachother and the cheese was just meleted all down the sides. What could be wrong with this? The flavor! Im uncertain if the restaurant added tons of salt or if the cheese they used is highly salty. It doesnt take much before the salt over-whelms everything. And perhaps some of that is also due to half the cheese being burned on the grill. It was an excessive amount. I would strongly suggest they use 1/3 less cheese or they utilize slices of cheese instead of the shredded cheddar. As i was eating this burger portions began to fall appart. At this point there was no bun to be found. It became a casualty of the mess on my plate. This resulted in picking up the remaining individual patties. As I tasted these patties without the cheese on them they seemed very bland and were perfectly shaped like the frozen patties you buy from the store. Were they? I don't know, however having a perfect shape may certainly indicate some type of processing before being prepared. I tried to finish everything, but ended up with a clump of cheese the size of a biscuit. It was too salty to finish and that burned cheese taste sucks. After the burger I went back to the onion rings. After being overwhelmed with sodium in the burger the onion rings tasted like garbage. At this point I just paid and left.

Flavor Town delicious! Just as described on the episode of Diners,Drive Ins, and Dives. Delicious juicy cheeseburger and the “cheese skirt” is Epic. BLT was also ordered and delicious. Popular lunchtime spot, we were the 2nd group there right when they opened and a steady stream of diners came in the whole time we were there. Sodas and waters. Good diner vibe and they have a booth set up from their original location. Fantastic lunch!

Sometimes you just need a squeeze with cheese! The cheese skirt is so delicious. I miss the original location but the food is still great. I'd come more often but I don't actually want a coronary. We've tried lots of different things over the years we've been coming here and everything has been great. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Most certainly the best burger spot that ive been to in Sacramento. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. They also server beer. Labreah, Meg, and Devon are excellent workers and showed great customer service. The bathroom was neat and clean and the food came out timely and efficient. I will surely return there and try their tacos with skirt cheese.

Squeeze inn has been a favorite for the last 7 years. I'm sad the one in downtown Sacramento closed down, as that was my introduction to the place. The fries are big enough for 2 to share, and honestly, the squeeze with cheese probably is too. Service her was a little curt, but they made good food (reminded me of restaurants in France in that way...)

yep. delicious. I’ve honestly never been disappointed here. delicious juicy burgers (with a HUGE CHEESE SKIRT) and I especially love the onion rings. Staff are friendly, and even went next door to the sandwich spot to get me BBQ sauce when they were out :-) Try it!! it’s a classic burger spot for a reason.

So good and a cute spot to hangout at. The staff were nice and responsive to the customers. I loved the burgers and fries but if you're thinking the of getting a large, think twice because the large can be big enough to feed two, at least for me it was. Great place! Will def go again!
