"Play Bingo at SPJST Lodge No. 88 As strange as it sounds, about 700 Houstonians of all ages meet on Thursday evenings to play bingo at a Czech Farmers Insurance Lodge. People actually start lining up just after 4 p.m. for a 7 p.m. start time! What makes this place so appealing to so many? Getting to people watch among the diverse, mishmash of participants? The cheap pitchers of Shiner Bock? People booing the winners (in good fun)? Go play and see for yourself."

It was our first visit. We came for a concert and dance: MolloeB and Squeeze Box, a polka experience. Aside from the top notch entertainment, the venue and staff were excellent. It is clearly well maintained and the staff is very experienced. They have a bar serving beer and cokes. They had chips and advertised poboys but we didn't partake. Looking forward to our next visit!

I came here for bingo night. It was bit hectic yet fun! Pro tips to do this is bring your own wine and a pizza. Food is mediocre, but the beer is decently priced.

Lovely facility with lots of tables and chairs under umbrellas. It also has a canopy area for more shade. Bathrooms had showers and changing rooms. The pool is large, but the water was a little dirty today. I'm not sure what was going on. It's not usually like that. There is a separate pool for lane swimming, but in past visits, that pool was closed. Plenty of parking and a decent snack bar that also has adult beverages. Very attentive life guards

One if the best bingo experiences in Houston! If you're looking for something new to try out or already a fan of bingo then this is the place to go in the Heights. A great crowd, atmosphere and all around fun way to spend the evening that doesn't cost much and has everything to offer for a solo adventure or with a group of friends or co-workers. Highly recommend and check website to see what you can bring in and get the lowdown before you arrive.

Amazing bulgogi fries. Nice sized portion for a decent price. The only issue is they are now only open dinner hours during the week.

This is an excellent place to go on a Thursday night (but don't be late). I believe the best time to get there is 5:30 for bingo night. They have changed the rules and prices but it is still a great way to spend a Thursday night with friends and family. You can bring wine or hard liquor in a bottle and you can bring your own dinner/snacks. The price per bingo card is $10. Have fun and good luck!

This place is always a good time. Not expensive to play and I love that you can bring your own alcohol in. They will start charging a $3 bottle opening fee starting in March though. Food, beer and non alcoholic drinks there for purchase (very inexpensive). Bingo markers are $2 and everyone must have one (also allowed to bring your own). Ample parking and tons of seating inside, but it’s popular and first come first serve on getting inside. Perfect for hanging out or even celebrating a birthday.
