Very disappointed over their food and service. The clerk taking orders did not speak English well enough to work at the front position taking orders.
The “Street Car Doner” was lacking in traditional textures and taste of a doner. It comes wrapped in a tortilla, not a pita, or traditional bread. It is lightly fried so it’s crispy and GREASY.
I ordered a side of pita bread and hummus, and instead I got a sliced, fried pita that was stale.
For $21, I expected better quality, better taste and better service.

Delicious gyros and wraps, but the loaded fries were the star for me! To-go boxes ready at the front and water cups. Stool seating and outside tables. Got busy soon after we arrived but overall would recommend

I ordered from here tonight and was extremely disappointed. We got take out and realized once we got home that both of our orders were made with the wrong meat, pork instead of chicken. The service and food were underwhelming considering the price. This sentiment seemed to be echoed in the other poor reviews that have been left ignored by the restaurant. We won’t be returning.

The Doner basket was delicious and fresh! Huge portion with a little of everything. My husband and I shared. They also have great drinks deals.

We got an order of the falafel wrap with both kinds of fries, as well as the Berliner with the quinoa salad, several sauces, and the Arnold Palmer. To my surprise, the drink was layered! It was non-alcoholic to go, and that's awesome!
Everything we got was really well made and delicious. The fries were crispy but well-balanced. I don't understand how they justify the insanely high price for their sauces, however.
Customer service was different. Back of house is not to blame, though.
A couple in front of me and I were waiting for several minutes before someone came from the back to help them place an order. Nobody asked if I was picking up, even though I was the only male, and I ordered online and had a pick-up time with a name on the tag.
A woman who had been eating four feet from where we were standing, and could easily see us, jumped up after five or six minutes once when her coworker saw her and proceeded to help process the order.
Mind-boggling.
That's one faulty link in a chain I'll still go back to, but I'd fix it.

Not the employees fault, but it often feels understaffed here.
Other than that the food is amazing, and we’ve always had a great experience! My favorite is the doner gyro!

Spitz is such a fun, hip little restaurant, and this was our first time going to this location in Sugarhouse (we usually hit up the original downtown one). Awesome, friendly staff, and great vibe with the same hot pink tentrilled light fixture in the center of the room. It really looks like a place people go on a date to, but we went as a family and enjoyed the food, the music, the board/card games they had available to play, and the chalk board to draw on. They had plenty of high chairs and lower tables for the littles, so bring your family.
Always get the pita bread, btw! It's the best and I dream of it always. Ahhhh!

What a fantastic little find. We spent 3 days hiking and wanted some Mediterranean food before our flight home. This place hit the spot. The beef and lamb was so flavorful and handy all tightly wrapped in lavash. Then there’s the fries!!!!! They give the option of going half reg + half sweet potato, we ordered the house favorite and devoured them before we could finish our wraps! Great quick eats packed with flavor but beware of garlic breath after (so worth it).
