Spitz - Minneapolis

We had the Mixed Bowl, Gyro Combo and Greek Salad as a side. Both dishes had great taste and fresh products. Though, the Gyro had very little lamb and more French fries in the middle of it and maybe a spoonful of cucumber sauce. All of the lamb was pushed to the front of the gyro to give the impression it was big but once I took the foil off and checked, the lamb was the lesser product of it all. Not the normal Gyro I’m used to at other places, though it tasted very good. I probably wouldn’t return in future as a true Gyro has no French fries inside of it and lots more lamb.

Local to our home, reliable Doner, Mediterranean salad, and Gyro stop. Always quick service, no frills - but do have beer, wine, or cocktails if desired.

Hell yeah. Every time we’re in Minneapolis we stop here. They have killer vegetarian wraps and bowls. You can add protein but we stick with the veggie option. I did the Zesty Feta this time it doesn’t disappoint. Really good local craft beer selection plus a full bar.

We've ordered delivery twice and have been very impressed. Food arrives looking just as appealing as their menu photos and tastes even better. Hubby ordered spicy feta wrap and I had doner salad, both with chicken and delicious! Love their appreciation for texture - crispy garbanzos, pita crisps and veggie variety makes every bite unique and delish. Portions are hearty! We ordered extra zhoug this time which isn't as hot as others we've had but excellent flavor depth - a great addition to both our dishes.

Looking for a good doner? This place is a solid choice. It’s reliable, convenient, and perfect when you need a quick meal. I enjoyed my experience overall—the flavors were decent, and the portions were satisfying. However, I did find the doner meat to be a bit off in taste and drier than what I’ve experienced at other places. While it wasn’t as moist and flavorful as I would have liked, it still made for a decent meal. If you’re in a pinch and craving a doner, this place can certainly hit the spot. Just don’t expect it to be the absolute best you’ve ever had. Nonetheless, it’s worth trying, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite.

We ordered door dash from here and the food was AMAZING. I've struggled to find a good Gyro as a Chicago transplant but this fit the bill. The bowls were delicious and worth the price. The fries and the dipping sauce - drool worthy. The crown... The BEST baklava I have ever had. I've thought about it daily since!

Soothing music, calming lights, nice decor, awesome food! Party of four, we all loved our meals. Great Vegan selection. I’ve never had Mediterranean food this good!! We will be back for sure!

Spitz is my go to restaurant! I have been a customer of this restaurant for 5 years and can’t say enough good things. I am never disappointed when I get my Doner Salad or any other items that I get. I have called in many times and the staff is always extremely friendly over the phone and eager to help you. I would highly recommend Spitz to anyone!
