Second time around and it was just as good as the first! The food is always fresh, healthy and delicious! They have a Mediterranean style menu including wraps, bowls, salads, fries and more! The lamb was delicious and cooked perfectly with a nice seasoning. The sauces here hit the spot and they also serve beer which I have yet to try! The food usually is portioned pretty big and I can make one meal last for 2 meals! The style is so unique and intriguing! They have records on the bathroom walls, nice ambient lighting with weird light fixtures! Staff is super friendly, smiley and very helpful. They have nice music and some sports or shows in the background. They also serve hard alcohol and spirits!

Delicious food! Great drink specials. We had the Mediterranean with a mix of all the meat (beef, lamb, chicken) plus kabab and it was magnificent!!! 😍🤤🌯 Prices - amazingly affordable. Service super friendly and personable. ❤️ Definitely better than any other Spitz (sugarhouse) I’ve been to. ❤️😍 I tried this again the next day but had them make it “spicy style”. All they did was add peppercinis and it over powered the other flavors. Definitely recommend having the Mediterranean original with mixed meats. 👍🏼🌯

I ordered delivery from Spitz. I got the Mediterranean Doner Wrap Combo Meal with lamb and beef with mixed street cart fries. The food was already cold when it arrived, which was strange considering how quick the delivery was. The wrap was still good but the meat is slightly dry. The fries were cold and slightly dried out. I did enjoy the sweet potato fries though. I think the sweet potato fries provide a better contrast to the saltiness of the toppings for the street cart fries.

Cool atmosphere, different than your average Cafe. Food was great with nice finishing touches, wraps were pressed like a pannini. Zough sauce is a must have. Their menu states gluten free, but some of their items are made on shared surfaces. Warning for celiac should be made.

Doners come a dine a dozen where we’re from, so we were not expecting this incredible symphony in our mouths. The food is insane, have anything and you’re gonna be blown away, a highlight was the loaded fries, but everything else was awesome. The service is nice, nothing crazy, but still awesome. The atmosphere is also very electric and pleasant. A must go.

It was a very crowded, but very fun and artsy inside. Pretty cool, and delicious! Not excessively expensive either. Suggest you eat there on the early side, it is the only reason we got a table quickly on a Friday evening.

The Doner Basket ($15.50) - Choice of Protein, half fries, half salad all topped with Feta, Hummus, banana peppers, crispy garbanzos, tzatziki, kalamata olives, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber, falafel, fried lavash strips and pita strips with balsamic or lemon-herb tahini dressing I picked the beef & lamb. It's a combo. You can't just get one. But I'm glad cause I wanted both and the combo was delicious. The portion size was huge! Don't ever talk bad about Splitz. I like this place. It has great Mediterranean food with a unique spin. The service is pretty simple and consistent, you walk up to the counter an order. The food comes out pretty dang fast for the amount that you get. You'd think the cooks would be back there for like 52 minutes preparing this stuff. But no!!! It's more like 5.2 minutes and hoobah! You got your food. It's a funky place inside with graffiti, vinyl records abs old stereo speakers. They also serve the right choice of alcoholic drinks, a little bit of everything.

We ordered from Spitz Downtown through GrubHub which is seems to be preferred by YELP. 15 minutes before our food was supposed to arrive our order was cancelled due to a "delivery issue". We contacted Spitz Downtown to see if we could just come get it but they were told they were closing early. We subsequently placed an order from Spitz Sugar House via DoorDash, and received our order on time. The food was good and tasted fresh; Typically we wouldn't include delivery service

My first time at Spitz and definitely not my last. The atmosphere of the restaurant was modern and location was right in downtown. There was seating outside so that was nice. The menu had lots of options which were all delicious. The prices were reasonable for how much food they gave. I got the streetcar wrap and loved every bite of it. The service was great as they brought out our food and even cleaned up after.

I tried Spitz for the first time. Doner kebabs are supposed to be composed of mostly meat. Mine only had a thin slice, and the rest were fillings and sauce. So disappointing.

Love that spitz was the only place open on Sunday! Staff are friendly and help when ordering! There is indoor and outdoor seating! They have mint and lemon water which was nice! The falafel taste a bit different than the ones in LA. But overall, very good and filling! They have the same design throughout each store so it was nice to see that!

Get ready to step in to a neon 80's record store vibe. The ambiance is bright, fun, and entertaining just to look at. Paintings all on the walls and be sure to look at the hot pink electrical wires. The server was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. I suggest opting for water since they have infused water. I tried the pear and thyme one and MAN OH MAN was it good. I ordered the Berlin donner bowl with beef/lamb and it was so fresh. So good and just what I wanted. My friend got a veggie wrap and she said it was just as delish. I highly suggest stopping here if you want something healthy, light, and filling.

A great, low-key dinner or lunch option with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have many bowl/salad options to choose from in addition to wraps. I highly recommend the deep fried pita strips with hummus as a side to split. We get them every time and it's the highlight of my meal.

We had a delicious dinner on a our recent trip to SLC. The staff was friendly and helpful with menu questions. After we ordered at the counter, we found a table on the patio. I had the Mediterranean Doner wrap with beef & lamb. It was so flavorful and a large portion. I saved the 2nd half for lunch the next day and it was just as good. My son had the gyro and left nothing on his plate! We both really enjoyed our meals.

We found this restaurant searching for "healthy food near me". It was exactly what we were looking for, as we both love Mediterranean food. We shared the Doner Salad with Chicken and the Falafel Remix Bowl -- both excellent. We drank waters but they have a nice drink menu and several nice beers on tap. Guinness!!! Nice counter service, friendly staff, cool vibe/atmosphere/music, excellent food. I would hit this place again if in the area.

Service was good and it was a cool scene. We also enjoyed the food. It was good, but didn't really have the wow that's amazing factor I was hoping for after seeing reviews. Not a big fan of having French fries in my gyro. Also, while the sauce was ok it wasn't great. I didn't care for the sauce for my Greek salad. I was hoping to get a Greek salad dressing, but it was a Greek yogurt, vinegar mix that I wasn't a fan of. Overall, it was an alright place to eat for lunch. Not upset about the meal, but really not my favorite by any means in comparison to other Mediterranean restaurants I have had.

To start, the place smelled amazing as I walked up, so I knew I was in store for some good food. I ordered the Mediterranean wrap with falafel. They have great outdoor seating, especially for a nice day. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to get our food, although it was quite busy when we went. The ingredients tasted SO FRESH. I have had falafels from many places and they can often be hard and dry, these were the complete opposite. They also have crunchy garbanzo beans that add the perfect crunch to the wrap. Even more amazing, the wrap didn't even fall apart, which almost never happens. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend it.

The playlist hits here! Was pleasantly surprised to find this fun urban setting. It's fun to look around and enjoy the art. Service is quick. Menus are by the door upon entry. You order then take a seat with your number. Small space for small groups with a few patio seating available. The doner wrap was a hit!! Flavorful, plenty of sauce while preserving the flavorful meats. Pita chip fries with hummus dip was also a good hit!! Huge portion good for two.

Loved this spot! Close to downtown SLC, bright yellow awning with fun lights and a cozy vibe. Bright colors inside, wooden tables adds to an almost beach feeling. Order ahead then someone brings your food to your table, checks in maybe once or twice after. Great experience all around, would 100% be 5 stars but asked for no cheese on one of our Mediterranean wraps (which were so filling and great tasting) and it came with cheese. Fries and sweet potato fries were also great. Definitely a good hearty lunch/dinner spot.

Okay wow. A great spot to grab a quick bite in DT SLC. Food & Drinks: They have a great variety of Draft beer to choose from. I devoured the street cart fries. The remix bowl was also delicious. Their hummus was light and creamy and the pita was very very soft. Service: Everything is ordered at the counter and then they bring it out to you. They were super accommodating. I wanted regular pita instead of crispy which they had on their menu and they were sweet enough to oblige. Ambiance: Very casual, low-key and everyone is welcome kinda vibe. Great for hanging out with friends. In all: I would definitely go back here if I were in town again. And I'd be a regular if I were a local.

The bowls seem small but pack a punch and are very filling. They chicken was particularly very flavorful, although a bit on the salty side. They offer alcohol as well.

Spitz is a great grab and go staple to have! If you're looking to sit down and catch a vibe it also offers that. The food is fantastic and I love how they offer spa water. The only reason why I didn't give Spitz a 5/5 is because they got one of our orders wrong. Definitely come here if you want to take your taste buds on a ride!

I was visiting SLC & was looking at options to eat that were healthy. I was very happy to find this spot as they have amazing options & the food was phenomenal. The service was quick & I like how they serve you at your table. It was very packed when we went so that was a good sign as the locals love this spot. The restaurant was very vibrant and beautiful inside and out. They have a nice & spacious patio as well. Overall very great experience & great tasting food. I'll be making a second trip here before my flight back home.

Wanted Mediterranean food for dinner and Spitz looked the best for what was the closest on Yelp. My beef and lamb gyro was pretty good (with feta, tzatziki, onion, tomato and french fries. Very much enjoy when fries are thrown in the mix. Nice interior with matching murals on either of the side walls, and plenty of outdoor seating on their "deck" area. I thought Spitz was one-off small business, but I now realize it's a national franchised chain. Quality control at the Spitz location in SPC is excellent.

Went to dinner at Spitz on a Thursday. I had been to their location in Cottonwood Heights on a previous trip to the area, so was happy to return to this location. The menu was very similar, you place your order at the counter, they give you a number, and they bring the food to your table. I also enjoyed that they were playing a lot of alternative and pop-punk rock I got the street cart wrap with double meat and street cart fries. Both were delicious. The meat in the wrap was very well seasoned, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and everything melded together very well. Spitz is a solid choice for a meal in Salt Lake City

The flavors were good, with a range of textures that added depth to each bite. While the veggies weren't the freshest, the crispy chickpeas and savory dressing brought a satisfying balance. The standout element was the fried pita strips on top - surprisingly, they carried an amazing garlicky flavor. However, despite the pleasant surprises, the overall experience didn't leave a lasting impression, and I probably wouldn't return. It's a quick bite with a twist, but not enough to make it a regular stop.

The ambiance of this place is modern, up beat, and targeting the younger generations. The service was friendly and quick, promptly telling us how to order food and that they would bring it out. I ended up trying the remix bowl with all three meats and getting the side of pita strips and hummus. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it's anything to rave to friends about. The hummus was rather bland, and the remix bowl had a little bit of a lot of things. It's good to try once but if I were a local, it would not be a repeat place for the price of $22 for what I had.

This spot is clearly popular for good reason - a long line at lunch time while in town for business. It moved quickly though, and it was reasonably loud inside and amenable to a business meeting. Food was stellar - wow. So good. Prices are reasonable, plenty of food, so flavorful, great service. This is a great spot!

this place is underrated. We found it on our last night of our trip and we were so happy that we did. We ended up getting two meals and sharing them. We got the chicken med bowl and some sort of Greek salad with chicken. It tasted fresh and had plenty to it. I'd highly recommend.

The food has so much flavor to it! My group of 3 came in, quickly found a seat, ordered and had our food within 10 minutes. They give you free refills on your drinks (non alcoholic) and the food is well portioned for a reasonable price. The lady taking our order was very nice and friendly. Food is good but a bit expensive for what it is. Price is especially high since they are asking for a tip at a restaurant where you order at the front desk when you enter and you have to walk back and forth for drinks. Why am I tipping if I'm doing the work?

I love the food here but every time I order from the app and say I want lemon tahini dressing they have given me the balsamic dressing. It's like this from door dash or the spitz app. It's so insane that they always ask what dressing you want with your salad and always send you the one you hate. So if you want to try it, do it in person or order an extra $0.75 cup of dressing because they never get that wrong. I'm 100% sure they do this on purpose so you order extra of the dressing you actually want. Again I want to say I have ordered the same thing many many times over the past two years and they always mess it up. Silly I keep coming back haha.

One of the best lunch restaurants in SLC! Very healthy with tons of options for dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gf, df) - they even have menus specific to these restrictions for convenience. The portion sizes are generous with no ends to customizing & adding ingredients if a pre-made menu item isn't floating your boat. 1,000/10 recommend going here!

Spitz's kids menu is small but solid. The Quesa Doner has just enough Mediterranean flavor without being overwhelming, making it a solid option for a picky eater like me. Not the best spot for big groups. There's only one large table that sits more than 6 people, and the rest of the tables are bolted down so you can't push them together. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick, tasty lunch.
